El sábado pasado se estrenó en este blog un canadiense de pro como Bryan Adams, con una balada de las que cortan la respiración, pero Bryan no sabe escribir solamente baladas como nos han vendido algunas emisoras de radio y televisión, por encima de todo es un rockero clásico, auténtico y con temas contundentes como este Summer of 69, que encontramos en el mismo LP, Reckles, del que más adelante aún vamos a rescatar algún otro fantástico tema.

De momento, viajamos al verano del 69 con rock and roll de muchos quilates ...

I am starting a weekly blog about MY favorite things! These "things" can and will include my favorite clubs, music, blogs, restaurants, person/people, places, shoes, food, etc. I am also open to feedback from all of you as far as what you would like me to share about!

I am starting off my "Weekly Fav's" blog on the topic of "Sexual Positions"!

CURRENTLY... my top 5 sexual positions will include the following:

1. Doggy Style - This position makes the #1 spot because for me it is the BEST! I love the depth, momentum and visualization of this position. If I'm watching myself in the mirror, grrr... yum, lol! You can't get better penetration depth either, if you like it a bit painful like I do... this is they way to go!
2. 69 - I have always loved receiving oral but giving oral has recently become more exciting. I'm not sure if it's because of my partner or that as I get older I like new things but the giving while getting scenario is just plain fuckin' HOTT!
3. Cowgirl - This is one of the only positions I can climax in without clitoral stimulation, BUT it's kinda hit and miss depending on my partner. The cowgirl gives the woman control and seeing how I am a dominant woman how could I not love that!?!
4. Missionary - I LoVe this position because it allows room for toys or hands. I can rub my clit or use a toy with no problem. My favorite toys will be in a later blog, but a small hint as to one of them... it's shaped like an egg, lol!
5. Spoon - To be honest... I really don't know why I like the position so much... more research needs to be done... I will report back!

At only 30 prims and with an ARC of just 16, this is my go to style for those high load moments. Such a classic style deserves a classic outfit, and for those moments, Last Call is my go to label.

The Bennett II outfit was perfect.  The rich, deep red of the soft velvet top with its luxuriously draped cowl neck was just the thing to make me feel warm and cosy, the lace back adding both glamour and a hint of promise.  The simple slacks are beautifully finished with laced detailing to the hips.  Persona's simple polished stone jewelry was a great colour match, and as Myllie Writer thoughtfully offers two attachment points for necklaces in the pack, didn't need any reattachment and repositioning so as to avoid conflict with the cowl.  The shoes with the skull embellishments may be a touch whimsical for such an otherwise restrained combo, but it is October after all!

I would like to identify myself today with the women who were buried alive for choosing freedom. If I am ever asked to develop a mandate - as Pakistan's next female prime minister - for the entire nation, it would be very simple: I would make compulsory for every woman in the rural areas to own a gun and acquire training to shoot her attackers - be it local or international. I would give a strict directive to the locals based on the hope that they atleast have some understanding of how important it is to empower women with weapons for protecting their honour. And Come on, guys! Don't you ever get tired of the idea of saving women and protecting their honour while risking your own lives for it? What's wrong with teaching women to take control of their own lives? Don't you have other bigger things to do, such as earn lots and lots of money for the country? 

I guess I am dreaming again. Our President sahib Mr Zardari is viewing America's next Vice President Ms Palin as a 'witless model' who is a 'gorgeous woman' with no implication whatsoever that he was meeting a 'gorgeous politician' in America. Wah leadership, wah. With presidents like these, what should us feminists do? Believe me, if all women in Pakistan had guns, Mr Zardari or Mr Obama would think twice before choosing to go quiet over the "collateral damage" (women and children) resulting from the "attacks on Pakistan". Better yet, they would *think twice* before attacking us!

While the fatwa on Mr Zardari is finally in place, how many people in this country are actually teaching women to use weapons for self-defense? 

I have a weapon and I was taught by people, mostly men, on how to use it. I feel empowered by it. But I still don't have the courage to use it wisely because I don't know how to and my enemies are just too many and I don't like harboring enemies or ill-feelings. And hey!! We refuse to be used as collateral for mistakes committed by the others, in the name of whatever they believe in.

We are going to march now to some Beth Gibbons from Portishead.

            Parece como si fuera ayer cuando escuchábamos de la voz del presidente Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, en aquel año de 1968, las declaraciones sangrientas que ordenaban al ejército salir a las calles para evitar cualquier obstáculo en la realización de los juegos Olímpicos, palabras que ni México ni el resto del mundo olvidaran. Fue en este año que se desato el movimiento estudiantil mas sangriento que haya ocurrido en la historia de nuestro  país, irónicamente también recordamos ese año como el año en el que fuimos la sede oficial de los juegos Olímpicos del ’68. Habrá quienes “asordados” prefieran recordar el 68’ como un año de diversión, fiestas, borracheras y alegría por los juegos olímpicos, pero hay quienes desearían que ese año ni siquiera hubiera existido. Aquellos quienes aun escuchan el eco de los balazos acompañados por lamentos de dolor y gritos mudos de auxilio. Aquellas madres, hijos, primos, amigos, sobrinos que perdieron a un ser querido mientras veían como se vertía un río de sangre sin control sobre la plaza de las tres culturas.

            Sin embargo, han pasado ya 40 años de este acto infrahumano y la situación pareciera no cambiar. A excepción de la falta de interés de los mexicanos ante los juegos olímpicos de Beijín celebrados el pasado mes de agosto, en donde las expectativas eran casi nulas, el apoyo a los deportistas fue de gran asombro para los ciudadanos y los medios, ya que aprecia muy extraño el saber que mas de siete millones de pesos fueron “invertidos” en las olimpiadas, cuando vemos que el medallista de oro en Tae Kwon Do Guillermo Pérez originario de Michoacán, tuvo que organizar un par de “quermeses” para de esta manera juntar dinero para que tanto el como sus padres pudieran ir a los juegos olímpicos de Beijing.

            Se dice que los tiempos han cambiado y que hemos progresado en nuestro desarrollo de manera impresionante. ¿Realmente creemos esto? Refiriéndome a nosotros, a la población mexicana, ¿podemos decir que estamos satisfechos con el “avance” que muchos no vemos? Se supone que el deporte y mas las olimpiadas, los mundiales y estos eventos magnos, a veces son forma de solo distraer a la gente de lo que realmente pasa en el mundo. Y así como muchos recuerdan el ’68 como un año de diversión, deportes, fiesta y momento olímpico y algunos otros, cuarenta años después siguen escuchando la sangre caer de los balcones de la plaza de las tres culturas.

Oh, I don't know what's more exciting in thsi picture, the blowing model hair from ::69:: or the marvelous jewelry from Genesis. However, I have worn this jewelry a few times, so let's linger on the hair. Can you believe I didn't even have to tint it? I did have to move two pieces so they didn't come out of my face funny, but that's it. I love the wild, chaotic flow of the hair which well mimics the whirlying wildness of the wind.

With the hair and jewelry (is this backwards or what?) I am wearing the Desert gown from Riviera Couture - a new to me store discovered at the the Glamour Expo. Speaking of glamour, I think I must have had a few too many G&T's because that dress got unbuttoned awfully far.

My tipsy toes are not covered in the lovely sandals from H&U - that's Hays Uriza, shoemaker extraordinaire. This sandals have been blogged by me many times because they are so wonderfully made and suit so many outfits. I know fall is coming, but a true shoe addict adjusts the moment to the shoes, not the shoes to the moment as someone must have said sometime because I surely did not make that up.
