I'm getting sick of Senator McCain and his ruthless tactics. First, his wife says that Obama has ran the dirtiest campaign in history and then attacks him. And now John McCain is upset that a congressman says he is 'sowing the seeds of hatred'.  Despite the fact that John McCain and his campaign has been truly been negative in the recent days...(Yes, all the words are different videos/articles in which McCain attacks Obama...!)

John Lewis said the following: "What I am seeing reminds me too much of another destructive period in American history. Sen. McCain and Gov. [Sarah] Palin are sowing the seeds of hatred and division, and there is no need for this hostility in our political discourse"

John McCain immediatly threw his arms up in the air and said, the 'attack' was "a brazen and baseless”. Senator McCain, I think I have some videos you should see.  Maybe he should also read up on Obama's actual connection to William Ayers. Or read this.I'm not saying that Obama is completly innocent, but he has overall been less negative than Senator McCain.  Sure McCain has told voters not to be afraid of Obama, and that he isn't an "Arab" [I laughed so much when the women said "I've been reading up on Obama and he's not...uhhh... he's an Arab"] but that doesn't make all the hate he generated magically go away. The more Senator McCain looses, the more negative he seems to be. I wish John McCain will make a national ad in which he tells voters that Obama is not an American hater terrorist. This would restore my faith in the man. But sadly, it's never going to happen. 

Oh by the way, McCain might have not been tortured (USA TODAY version here).

Maxwell introduced several new songs last night (Oct. 9) during a hometown show at New York's Radio City Music Hall, part of his first tour in six years. "Pretty Wings," "Bad Habits" and "Comb" will be included on the forthcoming Columbia album "Black Summers' Night." No release date has been announced.

"This song, it's about wanting to be with somebody but meeting them too early," Maxwell told the audience of "Pretty Wings." The moderately paced "Bad Habits" found Maxwell asking in the chorus, "Will you forgive me?," while "Comb" showcased a two-step drum pattern with a strong horn section and a smooth guitar roll.

Flanked by a nine-piece band in black and white suits, Maxwell began the show with "Get To Know Ya" from his third and last album, 2001's "Now." The crowd, made of mostly couples and single ladies, sang along to each word as he ran through his most popular singles "No One," "Lifetime" and "This Woman's Work."

By the time he reached "Everwanting: To Want You To Want," he'd also reached the floor -- to hump his microphone stand. The band improvised "Sumthin Sumthin," adding the beat from Jay-Z's "Can't Knock the Hustle," before the crooner introduced "Pretty Wings."

Just as he was about to launch into "Til The Cops Come Knockin'," Maxwell stopped the music and said, "There are not enough panties on my stage right now!" One woman promptly threw a blue rose on stage and another threw a rather large pair of white panties, which Maxwell tossed over his shoulder as he finished the song. "Go get drunk, go have sex, we love ya!" he said to close the evening.

Maxwell's tour will return to New York for a Nov. 23 finale at United Palace Theater.

Para nadie es un secreto que el acuerdo unitario del 23 de enero establecía como elemento principal de decisión el consenso, en caso de este fallar se aplicaban las encuestas y aún en caso de ser inhabilitado quedan para el resto de las postulaciones en función del orden en las encuestas, una ABC a prueba de tontos pero no aprueba de caprichos para lo cual se han levantado una serie de mitos alredor de la encuestas y las candidaturas de Cabimas:

• Que la inhabilitación de Alenis fue auspiciada por Marcelo Monnot, también es falso por que en más de una oportunidad Lisandro Cabello indicó tener información que venia directa de las reuniones internas de AD y en un programa de TV mostró los mensajes de textos provenientes del teléfono personal de Oscar García, en otras palabras el arma humeante.
• Marcelo no se plegó a dar su apoyo a la candidatura de Alenis, al contrario, se celebro una reunión en la cual Alenis intercambio el programa de Gobierno de Marcelo por el 40% del control de los puestos de la Alcaldía y de esto es testigo la dirección política de COPEI Zulia sobre quien se delego la decisión sobre esta petición.
• Marcelo era segundo en las encuestas, cuando solo había dos candidatos, lo cual es falso por que las encuestas corridas en Cabimas fueron abiertas para que cada ciudadano aportara el nombre que considera mas conveniente para la alcaldía.
• La decisión a favor de Oscar fue producto del consenso, falso ya que se dio en el domo de Cabimas en una sesión que solo puede ser comparada con la antesala para crucificar a Cristo, ya que antes de haberse hecho cualquier anuncio el ciudadano Alcalde abrió las sesión con una serie de improperios y descalificaciones contra quien fuera su mano derecha en la Alcaldía y que posteriormente seria relegado al CLPP sin recursos.
• No existe tal acuerdo de respaldar al segundo en las encuestas, es falso ya que el acuerdo unitario es muy claro y fue suscrito por todas las organizaciones políticas y en el caso del Zulia el acuerdo en le caso especifico de los términos que aplicaban para Cabimas fue suscrito por Manuel Rosales, Mervin Méndez y Rogelio Boscan.
• Oscar cuenta con respaldo popular, también es falso, ya que la primera sesión la realizo en Delicias nueva con sus vecinos y de las 72 familias del sector apenas 3 le brindaron su apoyo, Oscar depende del apoyo de Alenis para agrupar gente de otra forma queda solo.

Cabimas es parte del circuito electoral del Zulia, es el segundo municipio más grande del estado y se ha mantenido como bastión de la oposición, no por la buena gestión de su alcalde sino por que la sociedad civil y las organizaciones políticas trabajan en conjunto para que así sea, los problemas de Cabimas sin incontables:

• Sectores sin agua, los más críticos no han visto agua en 12 años.
• Vialidad en mal estado.
• Alumbrado público deficiente, por citar solo algunos de los más críticos.

La razón de esto el ciudadano alcalde de Cabimas, reside en Florida, tiene un penthouse de veraneo en Maracaibo cuyo alquiler que es de varios miles BsF/mes y de vez en cuando se da una vuelta por Cabimas, donde asegura que como alcalde y candidato es malo pero gana elecciones.

Ninguno de quienes trabajamos en crear el prototipo de la unidad podemos descalificar unos a los otros de la forma como se esta haciendo de parte del comando de AD hacia nosotros, menos aun es aceptable el silencio cómplice de UNT, ya que el máximo líder del Zulia esta conciente de la necesidad de trabajar en equipo, por que el mismo se levanto de esa forma, por que la tan famosa red maestra fue obra de José Sumoza jubilado de la industria petrolera que quiso hacer política y diseño par Chumaceiro un bosquejo y luego para Manuel la red y fue Marcelo Monnot quien diseño para el plan de áreas verdes ornato, drenajes y cañadas que le cambio el rostro a Maracaibo.

La única y verdadera unidad, construida desde la base es la que representa Marcelo Monnot, todo lo demás no es sino un capricho del ciudadano alcalde de Cabimas, es el ejercicio de aquello que tanto criticamos del gobierno central, solo pedimos juzguen Uds. y saquen sus propias conclusiones.

I was thinking, "Wow, that's a pretty bold TV ad, but it's pretty clever and funny too."

So, then I went to his website and found the rest of his videos, and I found that this isn't his first controversial ad.  Here's an ad that he put out about health care, "Uncovered":

Now, I don't mean to nitpick here, but it's pretty obvious that that last guy is wearing stuff under his hospital robe (they could've picked a color that wasn't white for him to wear under the robe, and that would've made more sense).

But anyway, I just found those ads to be funny and clever.  Of course I don't endorse Jim Slattery.  I support Pat Roberts, the current Republican Senator, but that doesn't mean I can't like Slattery's ads.

1 bucata scrisoare de divort de intocmit, data de actualul meu sef, de fapt prieten, in care trebuia sa anunt sotia ca sotul, nemultumit de lipsa vietii sexuale, a calitatii mancarii, a cumparaturilor, vrea sa divorteze diplomat, elegant si cu loc de buna ziua. Asta a iesit:

I just saw this brilliant (pun intended) ad campaign on the AdGoodness blog. Loved the concept. Someone really uber picky might point out that the product isn't so much about keeping something clean as getting something clean, but I think the point of cleanliness is still the underlying component, and that it's intuitive enough people will get it.

There is defintely some things worth finding out. And I do wonder why so little time has been spent finding out his past, his history. Yet, we know everything about Biden, McCain, and Palin. Everything is fair game.

Why is it "fair" to ask questions about everyone except Obama?
