All of us know that Ashlee's birthday was just three days ago.. and her new-born baby will be due quite soon!

To celebrate all that they have before they becomes mommy's and daddy's, Pete Wentz wanted to treat his wife, Ashlee Simpson, out for a post-brithday afternoon.. and to have some fun before responsibility takes hold of them both.

While Ash showed off her ready-to-pop baby bump, Ashlee, who just turned 24 years old (I did the math.. I was totally right) on Friday (October 3rd), Pete Wentz took Ash to the "Pantages Theatre" in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (October 4th) afternoon.


Supposedly, Pete and Ashley were reported that they were there to see the musical production called, "Wicked". Most of you should know it!

Okay, we missed Hilary's birthday last month.. and this month, we missed Ashlee Simpson's! AHHHHH!! We need to keep better track ahhaha.

Pete Wentz & Ashlee Simpson were on Hollywood Boulevard Saturday where they saw the musical Wicked.

In the first semi-cold day in L.A. in a while they showed off their fashion styles.  It will be in the 90's again this week so it will be back to the sleeveless shirts and dresses for the musical couple.-Dr.FB

The singer, who turned 24 on Oct 4th, recently spoke about becoming a mother in the not-too-distant future.

She said: "We're getting the nursery ready. I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun. The baby is my main focus right now. This is definitely the happiest moment in my life."

Celebrities that have a negative track record of being able to competently style themselves are the main culprit here. How many times have you seen Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Ashlee Simpson or Lindsay Lohan sporting a token fedora without the slightest clue of how to actually pull it off...it happens all the damn time.

Men: a fedora does not automatically make you a well put together gentleman (or Brad Pitt); in one fell swoop it can do the complete opposite! If you're shaky style ground. A friendly side note: polo shirts and fedoras never go well together (unless this is the look you're going for).

Ladies: Please think twice before jumping the bandwagon on this trend. Just because you own a waistcoat and aren't afraid to wear it does not give you free license to go on a fedora bonanza. Sure, the menswear trend is still a burning ball of hotness; but know when the pieces of the clothing and accessory puzzles fit together and when they don't (this usually occurs when you're only buying the hat because "ohmygawd Paris Hilton has one" or because you shop solely at Urban Outfitters).

Some things to consider before you dive into the great wide and ever expanding world of fedoras:

• Are you wearing it only because some "cool" person has one?
• Does your hat fit your head?
• Does wearing a fedora clash with the rest of your style?
• Is the fabric of the hat complimentary to the rest of your outfit?

A few things to keep in mind when shopping:

• If you aren't sure of the look or fit, take an honest shopping buddy with you to help.
• Get sized at a proper hat store (Vancoverites, think Edie's Hats in Vancouver on Granville Island)

Stylish singer and dad-to-be Pete Wentz wants you to know that it's not easy looking as good as he always does. Pete opened up to PEOPLE about his hair challenges last night in Chicago, where he hosted Gen Art's 6th Annual Fresh Faces in Fashion and sat front-row during the Windy City's fashion week with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz by his side. "Here's the thing about hair; I think most people think that I have Lego hair, like I can just take it on and off in one piece, and that's not quite the case -- although pretty close," he said. "I refer to this [phenomenon] as Lego hair, when people think that about me." Pete went on to joke about the importance of spending enough time making your hair look good. "I think hair is just, like, the most important thing about you," he joked. "Besides your soul, or maybe your heart, or maybe your crotch…. Or maybe the order I just put those in says a little something about who I am," he laughed before heading off with friends to end the night at his bar Angels & Kings.

With about only a month to go until their baby is born, (the press had gotten the wrong due date.. the baby will be actually born in sometime in November) Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were spotted enjoying their last days before parenthood.

Last night (Wednesday, October 1st), the sweeter-than-ever couple were seen enjoying the festivites of "Gen Art's 6th Annual Fresh Faces" in "Fashion at Chase Promenade" in Chicago, Illinois.. where the Fall Out Boy musician took on the role of hosting.

For those of you who don't know, Pete was actually raised in Chicago. He grew up there.

I'm annoyed at myself. we're learning (well more like I'm learning since everyone else already knows these steps) new steps in dance, and although I'm somewhat picking them up it bugs me that it still takes me lots of tries to get them right. which is stupid, because I know I'll get them in the end but still.. frustrating.

my brother is annoying me. well not him per say, but the choices he's making are. Kristi breaks up with him on Friday, so he moves back home, which is fine. but then he says she's still going to Regina with him, which, I'm sorry, is absolutely retarded. who the heck goes on a trip with someone that they JUST broke up with? she told him she wants space from him to think about what she wants, and yet it's apparently a good idea to go on a trip with someone that you don't really want to spend a lot of time with. seriously, WTF. I know that they planned the trip back before they weren't together (one of Pat's friends is getting married) but still! I love my brother, really I do. and I know that he loves Kristi very much and really wants to be back with her, but I don't know how much that's really going to help him.

I just feel very mixed up and frustrated and can't really make sense of how I'm feeling right now.

He truly is a talented guy. Much to my own dismay, much more talented than I am. It's sad. But I got stuck with the next best thing. I'm the Ashlee to his Jessica. The Hayley to his Hilary. The Jeb to his George. I could go on forever, but I'm pretty sure y'all have gots the point. I can simply surf the tidal waves of his success. Please make it big, David.

I kid. I'd never wish all that life-leeching publicity on my own brother. What I'm saying is that he's frickin talented. So I, being his sister and all, am making a gargantuan deal out of it. (I'm going to be a crazy soccer mom one day. I can tell already.)
