The truth is there is more legitimate exporters being cheated into shipping vehicles that money promised for never comes in. When that happens, either the car is completely lost or the added expense of having to pay for return shipping makes it also very unprofitable.

So how do exporters get cheated? Well, basically there are certain ways of paying that can be revoked, or taken back, by the one who purchases. The fraudster may make "a payment" and then when he get the car, revokes the purchase. So, for example, we do not accept payment in International Cheques because there is a way into being scammed in this method.

Currently, our exporting partners accept two methods of payment:

1. T/T also called Direct (Bank) Transfer
2. Irrevocable LC payable-at-sight

Eventually, there may be additional options such as Western Union money transfers for those who are unable to use the above methods, but ultimately trade security is in the interest of both the seller and buyer. Both must be honest, fair, trustworthy, and deliver as promised.

As far as other payment related polices, we will ship cars if at least 50% of the total costs are paid as deposit. To release you the documents, the remaining 50% must be paid within 10 days.

Beim Anblick dieser, wusste man gleich, dass es ohne Räumungskommando garnicht erst vorran gehen würde, denn die Garage war vollgepackt mit Regalen, Schränken, Brettern, alten Werkzeugen, Müll und sonstigen Sachen, die vorher erstmal beseitigt werden mussten. Dazu kamen unzählige Haustiere, wie etwa Spinnen, Fliegen und dergleichen. Auch konnten wir eine tote Ratte verbuchen, die sich vor uns unter einem Schrank versteckt hatte.

Jetzt könnt ihr euch erstmal ein Bild davon machen, wie es Anfangs, also vor den Räumungsarbeiten aussah.

Nun hieß es: Aufräumen, aufräumen und... ähm... achja... aufräumen

Natürlich wurde das auch dokumentiert. Es wurde aufgeräumt, verlagert und gefegt.

Nachdem nun alles sauber gemacht wurde, kam uns noch die spontane Idee: Warum nicht gleich noch pinseln?

Der Dialog spielte sich in etwa wie folgt ab

"Ey, wollen wir noch Farbe kaufen?"

"Wirklich?"

"Ja klar, bis gleich!"

Also wurde noch Farbe gekauft und somit wurden auch noch die Wände gestrichen.

Nachdem auch das so halbwegs erledigt war, gönnten wir uns zum Schluss einen wohlverdienten Döner

Insgesamt haben wir an diesem Tag doch recht viel geschafft und somit eine solide Grundbasis geschaffen.

Freude bei dem Gewinner und Neid bei den weniger Glücklichen. Vor anderthalb Wochen reisten Marian Dedlow und sein Vater Dirk nach Hannover. Ersterer war Studiokandidat bei "Bingo - Die Umweltlotterie" beim NDR und vertrat das Land Sachsen-Anhalt. Mit etwas Glück hatte der Teenager die Möglichkeit, im Fernsehstudio ein Auto, eine Traumreise oder Bargeld zu gewinnen. Und der Zufall wollte es, dass Marian Dedlow den Hauptpreis - einen nagelneuen VW im Wert von 18 000 Euro abräumte. Und kein Tret- oder Solarmobil, wohlgemerkt. So, damit ist es NDR-amtlich. Autos sind gut für die Umwelt. Und versuche niemand, zukünftig etwas anderes zu erzählen. Jedenfalls niemand vom NDR.

Diseñado por el italiano Giugiaro de ItalDesing y fabricados en Hong Kong se pondrá a la venta en el Reino Unido este otoño con precios que oscilaran desde los 8,995, 1,8000 y 11,350 Euros.

Mientras tanto no se han dado muchos detalles técnicos, solo que tendrá bajísima emisión de contaminantes, aproximadamente un décimo quinto en comparación con una máquina convencional de gasolina o diesel. Tiene una  velocidad máxima  de  64 kilómetros por horas con tiempo de carga de 6 a 8 horas.

MyCar estará disponible en siete opciones de color estándar, mientras que el equipo eléctrico incluyen los vidrios de las ventanas, espejos retrovisores, Radio, MP3 player, llanta de aleación de 14 pulgadas, cierre centralizado a distancia y pantalla LCD multifunción.

También cuenta con espacio de almacenamiento bajo el capó, en el arranque y en la guantera. Las opciones incluyen un techo de vidrio o fibra de vidrio versión desmontable, interior en leather.

Es sollte ein ganz entspannter Nachmittag werden. Nach der Arbeit ab ins Café und mal wieder einen schönen Ratsch mit den Mädels halten. Gut, erstmal wars auch so. Wir haben ein Käffchen getrunken, viel geratscht und gelacht und dabei wie immer lebenswichtige Fragen geklärt. Etwa, wie wahrscheinlich es ist dass einen der selbe Mann noch mal heiratet, oder was man tun würde würde man erfahren dass der geliebte Partner vor Jahren mal jemanden ermordet hat oder aber die Frage, warum Schlumpfis noch nicht vorhandene Kinder nie eingeschult werden können, weil sie mit dem Bobbycar an der ungarischen Grenze feststecken. Wie gesagt, lebenswichtige Fragen eben. Außerdem wissen wir jetzt, dass es im CCL ein Karussell mit einem englischen Bus gibt. Insofern, viel Spaß, viele neue Infos und eben ein netter Nachmittag unter Mädels.

Dann verabschieden wir uns und ich geh runter ins Parkhaus, bezahle mein Ticket und will fahren. Tja, denkste. Meine Sch…karre von einem Auto springt nicht an. Hustet, jammert, aber zündet nicht mehr. Na prima. Und das ausgerechnet im Parkhaus. Ein paar Versuche, nix geht. Hinter und neben mir natürlich nur wieder blöd glotzende Dumpfbacken: „Springt er nicht an?“ „Nein, er hat Deine blöde Fresse gesehen und jetzt springt er erst wieder an wenn Du Dich verpisst hast!“ Ich mein hallo, was für bekloppte Fragen kann man denn stellen! Aber gut, an dämliches Gelaber hab ich mich ja inzwischen gewöhnt. Stand ja erst vor Kurzem an der Tanke mit nem Platten, da kam auch so ein Oberprofi her und fragte: „Reifen platt?“ „Nee Du, ich fuhr so rum, als die andern drei sich plötzlich auf mysteriöse Weise aufpumpten!“ Manchmal….. bin ich echt so müde Leute.

Naja, auf jeden Fall ging nix mehr, ich also wieder nach oben und erstmal Handy gezückt und meine familieninternen Helferlein aktiviert. Während ich gewartet habe, traf ich noch eine Bekannte, der ich natürlich gleich mal mein Leid schildern musste und sie hat mir dann erzählt dass bei ihr auch grad eben Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner kaputt gegangen sind. Ich hab dann drauf verzichtet ihr von meinem Staubsaugerdebakel und dem kaputten Rollo im Schlafzimmer zu erzählen, sonst hätte sie womöglich noch gemeint ich will sie hier überbieten oder sowas. Meine Helferlein waren dann auch gleich zur Stelle und ich sag Euch, es ist ein Abenteuer für sich mit einem Auto das 1,96 m hoch ist durch ein Parkhaus zu manövrieren, dessen Durchfahrtshöhe bei 2 m liegt. Schiebedach auf und erstmal den Nervenkitzel genießen. Letztendlich gings gut, ich wurde mit meiner miesen kleinen Enttäuschung von einem Automobil (bedeutet auto-mobil nicht dass es von selber fährt? Hm, koooomisch!) angeseilt und es begann der ereignisreiche Abschleppparcours durchs CCL-Parkhaus, das in etwa mal so eng ist wie die BHs von Dolly Buster. Wir kamen jedoch dann unbeschädigt raus und immerhin hab ich jetzt eins der Geheimnisse des Alltags lüften können, nämlich, wenn man das Parkticket zehn Minuten nach Bezahlen noch mal steckt, kostet es wieder den vollen Betrag. Schön, wiss ma das jetzt also auch!

Im Feierabendverkehr dann am Seil durch die City, sehr geile Erfahrung. Ich glaub wären wir bis Rosenheim weitergefahren, dann hätt ich das irgendwann rausgehabt mit dem „bisschen bremsen und immer auf Zug bleiben“. Aber es ging ja alles gut. Meine Karre steht nun in der Werkstatt und morgen früh ruf ich (mal wieder!) da an und erteil den Auftrag. Ob zum reparieren oder zum verschrotten, das überleg ich mir noch. Eigentlich eh übel, dass ich mir zwar die Nummer meines eigenen Freundes nicht merken kann, die von der Autowerkstatt aber auswendig im Kopf hab. Scheiß-Autos immer. Ich glaube ich denk doch noch mal ernsthaft über die Sache mit den Eseln nach.

In diesem Sinne, wär ich mal lieber mit Alan in den Englischen Bus gestiegen.

This 1964 356 Coupe belongs to Ed Kriscunas and he was kind enough to bring it in so we can share it with you. This is an unrestored survivor with 51k miles. Ed said, for winter storage the previous owner would take the car from the garage, remove the sliding glass doors from his family room and park the car in the family room by the Grand Piano, then reintall the doors. Ed drives this car and enjoys it.

Ford is expected to take advantage of this month's British Motor Show in London to debut an ECOnetic version of the new Fiesta sub-compact. ECOnetic is Ford's branding for special low CO₂ versions of its different vehicles. In the case of the Fiesta ECOnetic, that means a 1.6L TDCi turbodiesel under the hood cranking out 89hp.

The global debut for Vauxhall's new Insignia is probably the most significant single event happening at the British International Motor Show this year. And as a result you can expect the Vauxhall stand to be at the centre of the attention, as this hugely important car is revealed in the metal for the first time.

Lexus’s ambitions for the LF-A are clear: to build a supercar with world class performance that is uniquely Lexus. Since the first LF-A concept was unveiled in 2005, the project has made significant progress; most recently the car was on public view, competing in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race as part of its on-going development programme. The Mazda Furai still amazes all people. Mazda’s new design is simply breathtaking and having heard this car at full noise on the hill climb, I know that it is the business. You can not to be awed by the way the curves of this car come together so aggressively and purposefully. The curves come together so well, I’d easily put this as the best looking car at the show.

Among those that understand the automobile more deeply, the future is seen as a vehicle with one engine in each of its four wheels and electric power. If these are the only conditions for the future, then we can say it has already arrived. And you may call it Lightning GT, the British electric supercar with 700hp power engine that has been presented at the British International Motor Show.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe graced the stages and it looks fantabulous in the flesh. The press photos of this beast does not do it justice. If Hyundai manage to put a decent suspension and driveline package under this body then they may lick their el’cheapo car stigma. Fingers crossed, come on Hyundai, don’t do what you normally do.

On the plus side we have the Spanish AFR Aspid. Similar to Caparo building the T1, AFR built the Aspid. AFR supply components to the big boy OEMs and thought a good way to showcase their technology would be in an exclusive road car.

The Aspid is constructed of an aluminium spaceframe chassis bonded with aluminium honeycomb and covered with carbon fibre body panels. Engine options include a modified naturally aspirated 2L Honda engine and a supercharged version tipped to pump out 400hp. With the car weighing only 700kg, this thing will hussle. Other new technologies include new wiring and internal communications system and a very compact hydraulic suspension package. Given that the guy looking after the car was struggling a little with English, that’s about all the detail I could get out of him.

And at desert Suzuki unveiled the Kizashi on its stand at the ExCeL centre, and also announced that the Ford Mondeo rival will hit the road in 2010:

Hi, Reader. How are you today? Allow me to deviate from my usual subject of places to go to and products to buy and instead tell you about a great auto garage that consistently gives me great service. Today, I'd like to tell you about Stantech Motors, an auto garage located off Mombasa Road (before the turnoff to South B), near Marshalls.

Before I get into why I recommend Stantech Motors, allow me first to tell you a little bit about why you should or shouldn't listen to what I have to say. :-) First and foremost, allow me to tell you that I drive a 20-year old car. Furthermore, I am the quintessential girly-girl. (Some might disagree with this last statement, but trust me, I know myself best. :-) ) All this together means that I visit auto garages a bit more frequently than the average driver and that I derive very little pleasure from these visits. What I look for when I take my car to an auto workshop is reliable, well-priced service that solves my problem effectively with as little input from me as possible...every time! :-) Now let me tell you about Stantech Motors.

I first went to Stantech Motors after bashing my car in two successive road accidents (yes, believe it or not)! My then-insurers would only pay for repairs performed at a reliable garage, so they gave me a list of names to pick from.  I had never heard of any of the garages listed but settled on Stantech Motors based on advice I received from a knowledgeable friend. This was the beginning of my long relationship with this outstanding garage. My car was pretty badly damaged when I first took it to Stantech Motors but it came back as good as new.

I inherited my car from my parents, who bought it brand new when I was 8 years old. The secret to keeping a car in good condition for that long, according to my father, is to always take the car to the authorized dealer for the make of car. I tried to honor this time-tested secret when I first inherited my car, but I very quickly realized that my pockets weren't quite as deep as my parents'. :-) After once paying a fortune to service my car at the authorized dealers for the make of my car, I very quickly started looking for another alternative. Remembering my good experience with Stantech Motors, I decided to next service my car there. Again, I was very pleased with the service they gave me.

In the five years that I have driven my car, I have ever since only serviced my car elsewhere once. I immediately decided to go back to Stantech! If you are wondering what's so great about Stantech Motors, let me spell it out for you.

First of all, I keep going back to Stantech Motors because no matter what state I take my car to them in, they always give back to me "purring like a new baby". Secondly, the systems in place at Stantech give me exactly the ease and peace of mind that I look for when dealing with an auto garage. Stantech Motors tags itself as ‘The Auto Body Work & Vehicle Service Professionals'. I couldn't think of a better word to use: Stantech Motors is professional about motor care.

This professionalism begins when I drop my car off for service or repair. At that time, Stantech Motors gives me a job card which details the particulars of my car, the work to be done on it, and details about the state in which I handed over my car. These details include things such as the number of car mats I have, whether or not my car has puncture repair tools, and even the level of my gas gauge. When did you last take your car for repair or service and not worry about how much gas you left in the tank? This procedure is not unique to Stantech Motors, but Stantech is one of the few  places where I don't have to inquire further about any of the items that I expect to find in my car, nor do I need to chase them to ensure that all the work listed is in fact attended to.

When I pick up my car from Stantech Motors, an attendant describes to me in detail the work performed on my car, showing me both new and old pieces for any parts that were replaced. Not only are these shown to me, but also to another staff member whose full time job is quality assurance.

Before I leave the garage, whether for a road test or for my final exit, my car is thoroughly checked to ensure that I am not smuggling out any spare parts. Also,  I must present a gate pass to the guard at the gate showing that I have clearance to take the car out of the garage. Although this procedure is sometimes a drag, it comforts me to know how much care the garage takes to ensure that my car is not inappropriately used during its stay at Stantech Motors. Also, I'm keen to see that, generally, Stantech Motors is vigilant about the trafficking that can take place with auto spare parts. What's more, in the five years that I have been taking my car to Stantech Motors for servicing and repair, not once have I seen these procedures ignored.

Some may argue that the cost of maintenance service at Stantech Motors is more than necessary - I usually pay between 5,000 KSh and 10,000 KSh depending on whether it is a minor, medium, or major service - but in my experience, it has always been well worth it. I service my car every 5000km as recommended, but still, almost every time before I service my car I swear that this is the last year I will be driving it, and when it comes back, I reconsider my position. :-)

Judging from my earlier disclaimer about being the quintessential girly-girl and not generally being a motor enthusiast, I might not be the best person to give you advice about where to take your car for repair. Nonetheless, I just wanted to let you know about how happy Stantech Motors makes me...every time! Although I don't always take my car there for minor (and not so minor) repairs, I would never think of taking my car elsewhere for service.

If you are shopping around for a place to service your car or to do some auto body work, try it out. You just might be as ecstatic about the service you get there as I always am.

Reprizele sunt foarte lungi, iar atunci când acul turometrului depăşeşte cota 3000 de rotaţii, răspunsul pe care îl primeşti nu este tocmai unul care te-ar face să crezi că maşina e în largul ei. De asemenea, apare şi vechea problemă a Daciilor: urcarea unei pante de dimensiuni medii este aproape de neconceput fără downshifting.

De asemenea, aspectul exterior al maşinii nu e tocmai ceea ce mă aşteptam. Schimbarea faţă de Logan este vizibilă, însă rămâne senzaţia de... nepricepere şi de lucru făcut în grabă. Partea frontală e ceva mai acceptabilă, însă blocurile optice posterioare sunt pur şi simplu nereuşite! Nu pot să înţeleg la ce se gândeau designerii când le-au creat. Mai mult, am auzit că şi la interior se putea mai mult şi că la drum lung, scaunele devin inconfortabile, ca să nu mai vorbim de plasticul de pe bord, care parcă e făcut din mingi de ping-pong topite.

Una peste alta, Sandero nu dă impresia unei maşini bine-făcute, a unui automobil sigur, realizat cu profesionalism şi pe care te poţi baza. Poate nu sunt eu destul de patriot şi poate sunt şi puţin paranoic, dar cred că cei de la Dacia mai au mult de lucrat la capitole esenţiale şi că vor trebui să treacă ani buni până când să ne putem achiziţiona un model românesc cu adevărat reuşit, la un preţ rezonabil.
