Come se una vipera abbia morso avvelenando, così il clima si è fatto roventissimo.

Settimane fà "Chi", diretto da Alfonso Signorini, annunciò la partecipazione di Michel Altieri.

Oggi, sempre "Chi"  annuncia la partecipazione dell'ex calciatore Stefano Bettarini. Dopo aver lasciato, infatti, "Buona Domenica" (che ha chiuso i battenti) e non essere più l'inviato de La Talpa (che prenderà il via domani sera su Italia 1)... Bettarini parteciperà al reality di Rai Uno.

Così dopo giocare a calcio, fare il personaggio televisivo lo vedremo anche ballare...

This joint came out the other day and I totally missed posting it (*slaps forehead). I'm not huge on the SLU movement but you can't front on the dopeness of the line up. Chi town is definitely in the building blogosphere. I guess it works out on me missing the drop as RubyHornet released a making of video (above).

What makes the song more special is the fact that all the emcees with the exception of GLC were in the building at SoundScape studio to work on the track, and discuss Chi town Swagger.

Boy wreaks havoc at Australian zoo

Mo normally starts the show for the kiddies who are listening to the show on their way to school and so he talked about a 7 year old boy who broke into an Australian outback zoo and fed a string of small animals to its resident saltwater crocodile.

Apparently, security camera footage at the Alice Springs Reptile Center showed the smiling youngster also bludgeoning to death a small blue tongue lizard and two more thorny devils during a half-hour of breakfast-time havoc last Wednesday. The parents were nowhere to be found during the kid's playtime errr killtime...

Mojo and Grace were outraged at the action of the boy and blamed the parents... Apparently, the parents were busy making out in the zoo's loo to notice that their kid was missing...

Miguel chimed in and said that the kid must've drunk too much Royal True Orange coz "nasobrahan sa kulit"...

Mo wondered if the kid was the offspring of Chuckie, the malevolent killer doll who married another killer doll in the movie "The bride of Chuckie"...

Non-virgin indicators

Mo asked the show's listeners for some more non-virgin indicators aside from permanent tattoos, heavy smoking and thumb rings when Benj, the blog owner of the Good times with Mo wordpress blog, finally got through the phonelines of the show and chimed in his opinion that a sure indicator of non-virginity are piercings, you know, bellybutton piercings and tongue piercings...

I mean, come on, if you're willing to get yourself pierced in those areas, you must have been pierced in other strategic areas already, right?

Mo agreed and thanked him for doing such a good job on the blog and allowed him to greet Khalesh, Marie, Chi and Carol on-air... hehehe (well, it is an imaginary blog, right?)

Nonoy the Menggoy

Nonoy the Menggoy, Magic 89.9's resident version of Michael Buffer, had a sing off with one of my favorite blog readers, Khalesh, for the right to own a brand spanking new Magic Sing (Manny Pacquiao edition)...

Normally it was Mojo Jojo who represents the Good times show for these sing offs, but for some perverse reason, Mo chose Nonoy to carry the flag of the GTWM gang...

Mo impersonated Simon Cowell, Grace played ditzy Paula Abdul, while Mojo gave his version of a gay Randy Jackson... Miguel was at home as Ryan Seacrest...

After a series of gruelling (on the ears) renditions by Nonoy of Paul Potts' classics such as "Nessun Dorma" and Freddie Aguilar's Anak... my man Khalesh prevailed with a series of songs by Josh Groban sung with an Indian accent!

Way to go Khalesh... Let's have some videoke sessions with your new Magic Sing, ok? :)

Good times!

How good can waffles be in Mexico?  Not very good.  We really went for the internet and happened to get Waffles, but I got some good Coffee and we also had a bowl of nachos.  The internet didn't work.  At least it didn't work on my computer.  So after finishing our meal we headed to the Chinese restaurant to see if I could get internet there.

Chi is another open air caribbean chinese restaurant.  We ordered one meal between us and proceeding to use the internet.  It worked but not as well as I had hoped.  So we had just spent close to fifty bucks for crappy internet.  I decided that the internet quest was a failure and figured I would just use the internet on the ship, at this rate it's cheaper.

Before heading back to the ship we ran by an Italian Gelato shop.  The girl likes chocolate chip cookies and they had big ones.  In addition to regular taxis shuttling people around Cozumel one can choose to take one of many horse carts.   I tried to persuade her to take a horse drawn carriage back to the ship.  At one point I thought she was afraid of horses.  I think she just didn't want to.    On the sign for the carriages there is a black shadow picture of a very large majestic horse drawing a lovely carriage.  In reality they are some sick looking horses pulling these fat Americans around Cozumel.

Rosaria Cannavò, dopo aver dichiarato in un’intervista di aver voglia di metter su famiglia e di desiderare ben sei figli, fa retromarcia e ammette: “Non ho detto che li farò con Christian Panucci”.

E’ stato questo il primo segnale a far capire che qualcosa tra la ex paperetta e il calciatore non andava. Ora il settimanale Chi fuga ogni dubbio: “Dopo due anni d’amore è finita la storia tra il calciatore della Roma Christian Panucci e la showgirl siciliana Rosaria Cannavò(in basso a destra). I due convivevano nella casa romana di lui, ora Rosaria tornerà a Catania”.

Altro giornale, altra coppia. Secondo Eva Tremila sarebbe ai calci di rigore anche l’amore tra Gianluca Zambrotta e la moglie Valentina Liguori(a destra). I dissapori sarebbero iniziati quando lui ha scelto di trasferirsi in Spagna per giocare nel Barcellona. Lei non si trovava bene, ma nemmeno il rientro in Italia, con il Milan, sarebbe riuscito a calmare le acque.

Diva e Donna. Non ci sono i nomi, ma tutti gli indizi per capire di chi si tratta: “Lui è uno dei calciatore più belli e più specchiati e con una carriera sempre in ascesa. Una moglie bellissima, il cui fascino è rimasto intatto. Sono invitati, vezzeggiati e presi ad esempio come famiglia modello. Eppure basta andare a farsi una lampada in un famoso centro abbronzatura per scoprire che ha una storia tentacolare con una bellissima che gestisce il locale”. Che goal!

In her book (above) Caroline unites the traditionally well known seven chakra systems with other belief systems - particularly the Christian Sacraments and the Tree of life from the Jewish faith.

The book is well worth reading and would give anyone who is versed in chakras a deeper understanding of them. However, Although I feel that the Sacrements and the Tree of life concepts have an important and valid place in there own right. It is difficult to reconcile them into a unifying form with chakras.

And I think Caroline has some difficulties with this too, since as you read it, one tends to find some areas quite difficult to grasp.

Indeed, with respect to Carolines intuitive senses, Intellectually these three concepts are too disperate I feel to be combined into a whole. In particular the Sacrements and Tree of life differ in one major aspect from the Chinese/Indian mythos of Chi and Chakras and that is that the latter is a measurable (and 'real' if you like) energy system - although they also represent more 'ethereal' or abstract concepts.

If we take Carolines book as a coming together of abstractual ideas of the three then we might agree with the notions presented in the above book.

To conclude - this book is a fascinating read and gives one a deeper understanding of the chakra system.

It feels really nostalgic everytime I hear the Chobits OP theme (Let me be with You by ROUND TABLE featuring Nino), here I have Chibits - a spinoff from the Chobits series released somewhere around 2004. Although it runs at around 6 minutes plus only, I enjoyed every single second of it. With the hyperactive Sumomo around, nothing will ever bore you. I would like to have this two little darling Persocoms with me, of course Chi also will be welcomed anytime. The story is pretty simple - Hideki goes off to college, left behind his wallet and Chi goes to deliver it to him. Sumomo rocketed to the sky with Kotoko to go after Chi when they noticed Chi left her undies at home. Browse the youtube clips below to see what really happens at the end. Ci sono alcune tecniche prese dal Wushu, ma molte derivano dai movimenti di uccelli rari, raffigurazioni cosmiche, favole e leggende della tradizione cinese. E' d'aiuto al praticante pensare a questi nomi durante l'esecuzione per eseguire i movimenti corrispondenti con facilità e destrezza.
    
4. Sin dai tempi più antichi, la forma della spada è stata associata alla danza. Ma eseguire la forma con la spada non è come danzare. Forse potrà possedere le caratteristiche di una danza, come i movimenti aggraziati, una forte componente estetica e movimenti morbidi e ampi, ma tutte queste caratteristiche, nella forma con la spada, devono essere interpretate secondo i principi del Taijiquan. C'è un proverbio cinese che dice "Aggiungi dei fiori al broccato". Quando questo succede la bellezza è infinita e ciò permette al praticante di entrare in una dimensione interiore di meditazione e piacere per migliorare corpo e mente.

Imparare a praticare la spada del Taijiquan stile Yang

Se si conoscono già i principi di base del Taijiquan, è facile imparare la forma con la spada. Bisogna prestare attenzione alla coordinazione dell'arma con il resto del corpo, ed è necessario unificare i movimenti con lo spirito e integrare tutto in una cosa sola. Come già accennato per eseguire la forma di spada è necessario conoscere ed applicare i "10 principi essenziali del Taijiquan", come linea guida, e combinarli con le tecniche proprie dell'arma.

I movimenti devono essere precisi e accurati in qualsiasi caso, sia che il movimento sia "pieno" oppure "vuoto" ("Xu" e "Shi") oppure, ancora, che sia di avanzata o di ritirata. Essi devono essere tutti interconnessi, senza interruzioni, pause o rallentamenti tra di loro.
