So post creepy man baddy using the little girl with mutant finding abilities to find Warren's school, (eeks long sentence) Warren got rid of the 'Touch-my-No-No-Zone' Priest there by saving resident underdog homo and BFF Andrew from any further abuse!

After Warren's Angelic Avenging, it was time for a stand off with THE CRAZY BIBLE THUMPING, no doubt republican/McCain/Pailin/Bush supporting GUN WIELDING guy!  During break, (and since Warren, Andrew, 'The Jock', and Warren's Ex Gf, are still there) a fire breaks out and it is up to Warren to save everyone from the fire and from the hell storm that the crazy guy is bringing. He flies up and grabs his gun, which he (in true red neck fashion) does not let go of until YOU GUESSED IT, he is 100's of feet above the ground. So he falls to his doom.

DESERVES IT! (but Warren felt bad)

So, of course he saves everyone, also giving away his secret mutation (Wings, not just a show) and we are left with a stronger more focused Warren who sets out to be a true hero!

As far as individual series' go for the X Men (Gambit, Storm, Bishop etc.) Angel has FIVE STARed its way into my heart.

I decided to include pics (it would be a crime not to!) of Ben Foster who starred as Angel in the X Men movies.  Now being a fan of Foster from wayyyy back (Flash Forward! Hello Jewel Staite. look for an entry on her from FireFly soon!)  I wasn't too sure about him as Angel, but post seeing the movie, I think he really embodied the mentality of the character.

Buy the accessory and the dress will appear- at least that is what happened in this case! I purchased these cute bow earrings not all that long ago, and sure enough this dress finds me- what a perfect match, I love it and couldn't help myself.

The earrings alone were quite fun, but this darling dress paired up with them I find to be simply adorable. It is hard not to feel that way when you have that many bows on you.

It is something slightly different, and not too much. I think it comes together nicely without being overwhelming. Any more bows and it would most likely cross that line- but I am good with where I am here.

The dress on its own is very pretty and comfortable as well- I love such a combination.

It is slightly fitted at the top and then flows down gently and slightly loose- which moves nicely when you walk.

The pattern is quite simple, and very pretty with large pearl buttons, some white lace down the center, and then the two black bows at the beginning of the straps. Absolutely darling.

Sorry that the post is late. Like I said in my image spam of Nagisa, I had to spend the day out of town. I only had enough time to watch the raw and take a bunch of screencaps of Nagisa before heading out for the day. Disappointing.

The fact that I didn't have time to write anything. I'm not disappointed in posting a dozen screencaps of Nagisa. That was fun.

Speaking of the raw, I was surprised to find that I understood more than usual (my "lately" usual anyway). Which means one of two things. Either my brain fog has finally lifted or Clannad just wasn't that difficult to understand.

Or hey, maybe the seiyuu are just so good I get what they're saying without even understanding it. Always a possibility.

Thoughts

Woo! They remembered the plot (talking about the beginning)! And double woo for getting the chance to see Sunohara's story! Woo woo!

This was definitely another funny episode of Clannad. I'm not sure if I'd call it the funniest because every single one has me laughing out loud, but this one was definitely among the best. I overdid screencapping so much that I couldn't even toss many out.

It was nice to see the other world again. I love how carefully animated these scenes are. It's kind of overdone, but in a good way. It gives it that surreal feeling.

I know the secret behind the other world, but not much about what actually happens in the other world. So I'm looking forward to seeing more of it just the same.

For some reason, this made me happy. I don't know. The three of them eating lunch together just reminds me of how people say the game is. I like all the other girls, but they don't need to be there all the time. I like the random visits to them better. When they're all in the same room it feels kind of...crowded (lol).

Aww...worried Mei is cute.

Oh Nagisa's head tilt is so cute. She knows there's something amiss with "baby-face" Sunohara. Ah, she was so cute in these scenes. The worried bystander. Like when she said, "I don't think lying is a good idea" but got ignored. Poor Nagisa. But it's okay, because it's cute.

Stage whisper...if it was anyone but Sunohara this wouldn't have worked.

And Nagisa, you know Tomoya so well. "Aren't you having a little too much fun?" Yes Nagisa. He is.

I feel like this would normally annoy me, but this was just too hilariously cute. You don't have to cry Ryou! Ah she gets embarassed so easily that I really can't dislike her.

Wow Kyou. This scene might have been my favorite in the whole episode (excluding various cute Nagisa moments).

She went from crazy pissed-off violence, to a good worried onee-san, to smiling during more crazy violence, to her exit, leaving destruction behind her and both Nagisa and Ryou looking mildly terrified. I think Kyou became my second favorite girl again (but gah! What about Mei?).

Ah poor Sunohara. This is what he expected.

This is what he got. Ignored. Ultimately it ended the same as always too.

Darn it, now what about Tomoyo too. Who's my second favorite? I don't even know anymore~!

Oh yeah, and this definitely doesn't hurt Tomoyo's ranking. Girls becoming friends and calling eachother by name is just so cute. Tomoyo and Nagisa interacting in general is just cute. I want more of that.

Yeah, you know what? I think out of all of the girls interacting, I like it when Nagisa and Tomoyo talk the most. Freakin' cute. Nagisa admires Tomoyo and Tomoyo...seems to think Nagisa is cute and nice (because she totally is). Ah...cute.

Yeah, I really don't know who my second favorite is. Kotomi became really cute after her arc ended. Hmm, but I'm pretty sure she's not in the race for second favorite. She's darn cute, but unfortunately brought down by that violin.

She's also getting less screentime than any of the other girls, so that probably hurts her.

Yukine~! Since we got to see a delinquent friend of hers I hope that means we get to see her route too. After Sunohara's (then we can finish up Nagisa's route and head for the After Story!).

lol, Tomoya. Up until now it seemed like he was genuinely trying to help Sunohara (sometimes), but now he's just in it for the lulz again.

Ah, Sunohara. How the heck do you keep falling for this stuff? It's not as bad as when you followed Tomoya's advice about talking to Tomoyo back in the first season (with the bowling and crap), but still. While you were saying that stuff you totally should have realized.

Head-tilt. It runs in the family.

Ah. This really just made me think, "lol, Tomoya. You're such a bad friend." Because honestly. It's okay because it's funny though. And at least he's doing his best to make sure Akio doesn't find out.

Determined Mei is cute too.

lol, None of those costumes would even work in the first place. What was the point? Teacher costume actually made her look her age for once.

But...I don't mind. It's fun to watch Tomoya and Nagisa's reactions in the back. The cat maid is, of course, the best. If only that had been her actual disguise!

Aw...Nagisa. It seems like she's always the one who has to worry about these silly plans. But it's okay because it's cute.

And I know I gave Nagisa just a 4 for no-bangs in my filler post, but come on. Her adorable puppy-dog eyes can't look up through her bangs that way. See? (but really, Nagisa is cute no matter what. That's why it's always at least a 4/5.)

Like mother, like daughter. I always noticed it when they're at the table eating a meal and stuff, but Nagisa and Sanae are really so similar that it's ridiculous.

This means Nagisa will always look like she's 16 (I know she's supposed to be like 18 or 19, but there's no way).

Jealous Nagisa is just about the cutest Nagisa ever. And she's jealous of her mom which just makes it funny.

Sunohara...I really have nothing to say, just...thank you for being you. You make every episode ROFL-worthy.

This was my favorite screencap in the whole episode. You may have noticed that Nagisa is my icon right now. It's because she's so darn cute. Like, "What the heck Tomoya-kun..." She always seems to know what he's up to now...though I have no doubt that she'll still get tricked plenty.

Well, they certainly didn't give much away. The narration is as vague as ever. But more Mei is good and I've always heard great things about this route in the game.

Serious Sunohara was really the only thing of interest in the preview. Looking forward to seeing what caused that (he's only not been a character relief character in this series like...maybe once or twice before).

I've been slacking lately. I need to catch up with my homework, work work and designing more characters. I can't rely on working off the dessert midgets forever.

My health has been declining lately as well. I don't know what's causing all this. I don't feel stressed so it can't be that. But, I've put off the doctor's visit for too long. PROMO of the WEEK: Even though I get nothing from it.

Thursday night I went to a advanced screening of SEXDRIVE. It is so funny, so you get a chance, go catch it. But, it isn't for people who can't take perverse jokes and such. Seeing how I am a perverse joker, I loved it.

I don't get anything from this promo but I did get a wicked hand held fan and a too tiny tshirt for me before the screening. But still, I got something right? haah Look at their website and see the dancing donut.

Dominik still hasn't quite made it through the night be he's making good strides. So, the parents are starting to see the sleep at the end of the tunnel.

Obviously I won't ever meet her, or ever get a chance to have a relationship with her or anything (for millions and millions of blatent reasons), but she is totally the kind of girl I'd go for. I wish soooo much that I had a girl like her at my school. Unbelievably attractive, funny, nice, hot, artificially colored hair, punkish, cute, sarcastic, and hot. Everything about her is all around great. I BARELY ever watch music videos, but Paramore ones are the exception. She dresses great, she has a nice body, the whole deal. And I LOOOOOOOVE it when girls dye their hair to colors that couldn't ever naturally happen. Anyway I really hope I end up with a girl just like her in the long run. To me, she is perfect. In all of celebrity-land, I have decided that she is the most attractive. She makes Avril Lavigne look like a STUMP!

Hopefully I'm not coming off as creepy here, but I just thought I would get that out. If I ever do meet her, that would be pretty awkward for me, because somebody as great as her (and also as famous) could never have any sort of attraction to somebody like me. I hope she doesn't see this post. But who knows...if she wasn't famous, and lived around here, MAYBE I might have a chance with her in a few years? Nahhh... (But just in case you are reading this Hayley, check out my youtube channel.)

Some of you may remember when I said the top 10 things I want to do before I die. One of them was make out with Hayley Williams. That totalllllly has not changed.

Off Main Street from the Buffalo News reports that Monica Seles attended Tom Golisano's gala event at NU when he gave the school $$$. Why? They've been close ever since Golisano gave her tickets to see the ice bowl because she's greedy and I didn't get tickets. That's why. I'm not complaining, I don't mind if foxy tennis stars voluntarily show up at my school. I mean, I'd much rather have Roger Federer but whatever works. Props to Addie Bradshaw for asking why she was there because I think we're all "dying to know." Like I said, I'm not complaining. I think he should have a double date with Max. It would be an opportunity to get know know your team. No more singles tennis for you, Mr G! Think *publicity.*

Of course, what is a controversial blooming romance without someone from WNY complaining? The article goes on to quote someone from the Sabres website. Quote. "Golisano dates monica seles and it seems as though he's lost his interest in owning the team ever since." End quote. Totally! Is that why he dropped mad cash on our team this year to keep the core together? Really, Tom, is that how you wanna play? I can always move to Toronto and support the Leafs. AT LEAST THEY CARE! I can get myself a sugar daddy to give me tickets too! And donating millions to a school to better the area. Eww. Why don't you just stab my heart. 

I'm guessing when they say "Sabres website" they mean "Sabres message board?" I should remind you I was also accused of being his spy.

Later, he was coughing in his sleep. A miserable, hacking, barking cough, not quite croup but in the neighborhood. I went in with Delsym first, and half an hour later I brought him a spoonful of honey. Both times, I'd sit on the floor next to his bed, rub his back, and whisper, "Hey, little boy, I need you to sit up for a minute." And both times, he sat up immediately, arms outstretched, to fold around my neck in a big hug, followed by a sleepy little-boy kiss.

I just love that he greets the world with affection, even in his sleep... his sister and I both reflexively hide deeper under the covers, and his father makes a sniff/grunt noise to scare off intruders.

Schools and councils have wasted £300,000 allowing staff to study for a worthless qualification in 'emotional literacy'.

The course was accredited only by an internet university based on the tiny South Pacific island state of Vanuatu.

And because the university appears to amount to no more than a website and a single office, the course has been stripped of educational status.

Hundreds of teachers and council staff had studied for the certificates and diplomas on courses endorsed by Vanuatu's University of Action Learning.

The courses were run in the UK by the School of Emotional Literacy, based in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

The postgraduate students hoped to use the qualifications for credits toward further study. But British universities have rejected the diplomas as worthless because of the link with Vanuatu.

Emotional literacy is supposed to help staff to communicate their feelings better and understand the feelings of their pupils.

Carole Davies, headmistress of Lydden Primary School near Dover, was among those who took the course.

'It was just not valuable at all,' she told the Times Educational Supplement. ' Thousands and thousands of words for no practical use and no educational status.'

I just can't lose the vision of numbers of sincere serious Latte-Sippers™ studying this sort of guff and believing every part of it. The old adage that "there is a sucker born every minute" comes to mind.
Maybe instead of writing a blog I should have been running this sort of touchy feely new-age bullshit course, after all if the Latte-Sippers™ will pay to learn emotional literacy perhaps the would pay to do a course on New-age Latte literacy....
