Outdoor Wood Furniture – Check the Wood Species Before Purchasing
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Malcolm_Kay]Malcolm Kay

Not too long ago, the vast majority of outdoor furniture was all made of teak. Teak has proved to be an ideal lumber species for outdoor furniture, due to its high durability, ease of working with machine tools, its low coefficient of radial and tangential expansion (which reduces potential problems in twisting, or swelling when wet), it's attractive colour and good working properties. But such widespread use of teak, including for marine decking, has come at a considerable environmental cost. The once great forests of South East Asia have been decimated to the extent that legally logged teak is now only available in very limited quantities, which is reflected in its high price. But unfortunately, illegal logging is still rampant and in many areas of South East Asia, ensuring its continuing supply to the furniture trade.

Plantations of teak have now been established in a number of countries including Costa Rica for example (presumably planted in most cases where the great forests once existed). But this plantation teak is harvested at a much younger age that has traditionally been the case, so caution should be taken in assuming that the properties of such younger lumber (including durability) will be the same as old growth teak.

Many responsible furniture manufacturers will now only used teak which has been certified by such independent bodies as the Forest Stewardship Council. If sustainability of forests and sound forestry practices are an important consideration in your choice of furniture, then look for the FSC logo or ask your retailer to provide documentation to show from where the lumber was sourced. Note however that even if the tag accompanying any wood furniture claims that the wood is sourced from sustainable forests, unfortunately there is no firm guarantee that this is true. You may be able to make some verification by checking the FSC website, which indicates which companies and even manufacturers have been given official accreditation by the FSC.

In recent years there has been a proliferation of different lumber species used in outdoor furniture as more manufacturing plants are set up in places such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, in particular. Unfortunately, a lot of furniture is now produced with price as the overriding consideration, with scant consideration being given to the durability or in service performance of the furniture. And all too often these days the name of the actual wood species in not even displayed – except perhaps a bland statement like “manufactured from durable hardwood species”. And of course a lot of lumber is transported to furniture makers located far from the original source of the lumber, making it even harder to track the actual supply country or region.

Thus there is often no guarantee that the furniture, which may look magnificent in a covered showroom, will survive the rigours of outdoor use, year after year, fully exposed to the elements. Apart from the failure to state what timber species has been used, sometimes a wood species is quoted which is virtually unknown outside its country of origin and data on its durability or other properties is either nonexistent or extremely difficult to locate.

Although we have only referred above to the durability factor, this not the only property you should be concerned with. Many species of lumber, although very durable, are also prone to twisting, warping and cracking under adverse climatic conditions, particularly where thin wood section are concerned. Again teak has proved to be a very stable species in this regard but other species are not necessarily so stable.

Whilst the lower costs and attractive colour of some outdoor furniture can certainly be appealing, we strongly suggest you should always ask your retailer to provide the name of the lumber species used and from which country it was sourced. If this species is not familiar to you, no other data is provided, and your independent research fails to locate data on such species, you should think carefully before making your purchase.. Good quality outdoor furniture should give many, many years of service and its higher initial cost will inevitably be repaid in terms of a longer service life and a much higher quality product.

One-Stop-Shop for Tarot Correspondences: The Quest Tarot deck

Again, I faced that look on my boyfriend’s face at the store that clearly said “You

Again, I faced that look on my boyfriend's face at the store that clearly said "You're buying ANOTHER Tarot deck? Really?"

:D Yup!

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="185" caption="The Fool from the Quest Tarot"][/caption]

I've seen some of the Majors of this deck and was immediately intrigued. The images were interesting but what immediately grabbed my attention was the border. Often the border is rather useless and unfortunately can take up a lot of valuable real estate. But in this case, the Quest Tarot has turned the borders of this deck into a wealth of correspondence information to help your study and readings.

For example, the Fool card's border tells us:

planet: Uranus

stone: Amazonite

Hebrew letter: Aleph

rune: Wyn

In the companion book that comes in the set (I was upset that no bag came with this deck, just the little cardboard box - looks like this was pre-organdy bag era), the author/artist includes not only discussion over each card, but also offers quick, reference chapters over each of these correspondences. These correspondence explanations take up the first part of the book and are a good balance between overwhelming us with too much/deep info and skimping.

Things to know about this deck:

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="185" caption="Notice I-Ching and astrological sign correspondences in the Pips."][/caption]

Pip cards do not have pictorial representations of the cards' meanings - they only depict the actual number of cups, wands, etc. Though the images are still beautiful and a joy to look at, if you require imagery on this card to help guide the meaning then this deck would not be helpful.

Court Cards are renamed and reordered: Mother (Queen), Father (King), Daughter (Page), and Son (Knight) in that order. These cards do depict people.

Some Majors have been renamed: Temperance is Alchemy, Judgment is Aeon, World is Universe (think Thoth-style)

New Major Arcana card - Trump 21 - The Multiverse - this card is of the artist/writer's own creation, which has it's origin in the new quantum physics (this deck is billed as "21st Centry Tarot")

Each card has a keyword beneath the name of the deck. Pip cards are Crowley/Thoth deck-inspired. Keywords chosen for the Majors are expected. The Hanged Man, however, has the keyword "Uniqueness" which may not jive popular interpretations.

The Blank Card - Another insertion by the creator, there is a blank card added to the deck that includes the decorative border but the rest is white space where you can add your own art and correspondences. He writes about three ways to use this card - make it your own personal "Significator" card, create your own additional card to the deck (another Major?) or simply leave it blank and read it as it comes up in your readings (such as using a blank rune when runecasting).

Verdict:

A beautiful deck. The borders remind me of the Guilded Tarot, but the all the art is done with 3-D rendering for a more computer-generated, alternate plane kinda feel.

The correspondences info will provide a wealth of knowledge to my study. My intention now with this deck is not so much for conducting readings but to use as a deck of study. I've never really delved into Tarot correspondences, and this deck provides a way to see how other disciplines integrate into the Tarot.

The companion book is tremendously helpful. While I was initially off-put by the price of this deck and book set (retailing at $34.95), the deck and book really make it worth your while. The companion book is an excellent resource that can be applied to any Tarot deck and will be a great thing to have on hand if you're stuck wondering about a certain correspondence for a card and what it means in the card's context.

Anyone else own this deck? How do you use it? Do you read with it? How does the correspondence information integrate into your working with this deck and others?

http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/.../WC2008/

I know, I know, its supposed to be DC Modern, but this is a MAA Wolverine Legend deck....pretty dangerous all things considered..something I will be walking [or running sometimes] into battle with. Its very well put together, since Rogue n Mimic double as both 6 n 8 drops. From fighting this deck, its only weakness is pathetic attempt on BOTH ends [not having one to protect 4 drop wolverine, and catching one from 7 drops effect]

Characters: from biggest to smallest]

3 x Drop Wolverine, BloodLust
1 x Mimic, Exile
4 x Rogue, Age of Apocalypse
1 x Blink, Age of Apocalypse
3 x Cyclops, Fearless Leader
4 x Wolverine, Age of Apocalypse
4 x Sunfire, Age of Apocalypse
1 x Havok, Unstable Son
4 x Bishop, Age of Apocalypse
4 x Shadowcat, Phase Shifter

Location :

3 x Cerebro
3 x Xavier's Institute of Higher Learning

Plot twists:

2 x Pathetic Attempt
4 x Sneak Attack
3 x Berserker Rage
3 x Children of the Atom
2 x Healing Factor
2 x Adamantium Claws
2 x Battle Tactics
3 x Turnabouts
4 x X-Men Assemble!

Beispiel: Man beschwört Brecher, magischer Krieger.

Brecher (KG1) --> LaDD (KG2) -> Buch des Mondes (KG3)

1x Gehirnkontrolle
1x Gold-Sarkophag
1x Monster Reinkarnation
1x Voreiliges Begräbnis

Fallen - 5

Bodenklappenfalle
Kartenvernichtungsvirus
Reißender Tribut
Ruf der Gejagten
Spiegelkraft

Anmerkung:

You know when you suddenly stumble upon something that makes your jaw drop? That's just happened to me with the Tarot of Trees.

Its creator, Dana Driscoll, describes it as a "whimsical" deck...and it is. But it is so much more than that. It's a wonderful idea, beautifully executed. (I am in love with the whole suit of Pentacles.) Most surprising and delightful about it is that the paintings make sense. Perhaps it is their whimsical simplicity that makes them so easy to read, like picture books.

I also love that each suit is linked to a season and that this is reflected very clearly in the images. Wands are summer, Swords are autumn, Pentacles are winter and presumably this means Cups are spring (she doesn't say).

And the colours....oh the colours! Aren't they divine?

3 x Let's Go, Legionnaires!
1 x Big Leagues
1 x New Recruits
4 x Many Worlds
2 x Blinding Light
1 x The Future is Changing

Locations:
1 x Legion Headquarters
2 x Science Police Central
1 x Cosmic Tuning Fork
2 x Legion World

Equipments:
2 x Flight Ring
1 x Ego Gem, Unique ? Infinity Gem

Characters:

3 x Jazmin Cullen <> Kid Quantum, Hero of Xanthu
3 x Triad, Luornu Durgo
1 x R.J. Brande, Philanthropist
3 x Ferro Lad, Andrew Nolan
1 x Timber Wolf, Brin Londo
2 x Xs, Jenni Ognats
1 x Spark, Ayla Ranzz
3 x Wildfire, Drake Burroughs
3 x Live Wire, Garth Ranzz
1 x Brainiac 5.1, Querl Dox
1 x Star Boy, Thom Kallor
2 x Sun Boy, Dirk Morgna
1 x Cosmic Boy. Rokk Krinn
2 x Kara Zor-El <> Supergirl, Lost in Time
2 x Colossal Boy * Leviathan, Gim Allon
2 x Mon-el <> Valor, Lar Gand

Yes yes...the mighty Legion...now first off...heres a play by play:

1 Drop: Triad, discard a card go up to 2 additional triads...all for one card..
Ego gem- 1 extra card
Legion Headquarters- save triad's cosmic counter
Jazmin Cullen <> Kid Quantum, Hero of Xanthu bring her out for free,

2 drop: This is an interesting drop, this is where business picks up
- Cosmic tunning fork- I would advise using your Illuminati or future is changing to make sure you'll get a couple of characters, then ego gem
Science Police Central- If you control the turn, which you should, everyone gets +2. Which makes Ferro Lad kind of dangerous [7 on the 2 drop!] Or if you have to under drop with triad [who is not unique, you'll have 2 1 drop 3 attackers] Also, Jazmin should have her cosmic counter, so she's 4/1 on the 2...after you slaughter them, 3 drop.

3 drop: Tunning fork first, which should prepare you for the 4 drop, then its Xs time to shine, either swing twice, or ego gem twice, or attack, then ego gem, she has cosmic surge so as long as she's up, she'll earn. If they try to bash any of your characters, use Let's Go, Legionnaires! and by now, when it looks like you'll have to KO too many characters, use Foiled Assassination if you have to save Jazmin, she's the character to return to your hand because she comes out for free, and recover Ferro Lad or Xs. Plus flip a blinding light around now,

4 drop: Wildfire time! Also, you should have flipped Legion World by now. From now on, your main targets are the 4, 5, and 6-drops, because with Legion world that turns into 8 10 12, esp. with your lower drops, a legion of super-pets, and also, you should really use your foiled assassinations, because when you recover, Wildfire gives them a cosmic counter, which you can replace for 2 worlds to draw a card, or fetch a character from the KO pile. [You play with Star boy to discard for cosmic, not to recruit, thats why you have 5 5 drops]

5 drop: The main drop is Brianiac, he gives you a free card, which has been a strong theme here..also, give him a flight ring, he could use plus 2 atk, by now, along with Ego gem, cosmic tuning fork, you should have went through most of your deck..and if 2 worlds gave you something bad on the back row, or if you have another unique location you aren't using, Air strike it away...

6 drop: Sun Boy, Dirk Morgna, if your attacking, send Brianiac, and Jazmin into their 6 drop, If you have an idle cosmic waiting around..then save brianiac but otherwise I'll trade 5 endurance for 12. But if you have blinding light out, just remove sun boy's Cosmic to save your team attackers and then give it right back to him..how bout that helping hand? Sun boy should hit their 5 drop for a massive 16. Don't try to egg on damage with Lets Go Legionaries! I know, 20 seems massive, but you'll need that plus 4 while defending..trust me...but, if You can, Foiled assassination Jazmin if both your 5 and 6 fell, and wait for the 7 drop

7 drop: Kara Zor-El, Ms super girl..give her your second flight ring..she's now at 18 Attack so she can now pick on 8 drops, if your defending this turn, Colossal Boy, which gives you a +2/+2, reinforce, blow your last let's go legionaires, and Foiled Assassinations here..the people you want to keep at this point try to make one of your target defenders have that ego gem, because Jazmin will be your target to go back into your hand...and loosing that gem this late in the game..well if you can loose it then go head..but that's 1 extra card you'll get for the big sha bang a bang [if, for some stupid reason your opponent doesn't under drop, then recover a non-cosmic surge character for wildfire, then starboy if you can]

8 Drop....wow...well make sure you bring out ms Jazmin first, then bring out Mon-El. He should be around 21 on average, but I've had him up to 24...I doubt you'll make it this far..seeing as how with legion's world, your opponent lost [the maximum depending on which turns you control, 20 for even and 19 for odd] and now, you'll send Wildfire and Brianiac [both with cosmic, and both adjacent to ms. Kora Zor-El so no stun lost to you] with your last legion of super-pets into their 8 drop, so thats a free 16, then send ms Kora Zora-El, with her new cosmic counter for 20, and ms Jazmin [if you have an extra legion of super-pets, if not, go for the Breakthrough!] Then Mon-El will swing freely...and without care...

Legion's only real weakness is no natural (or team stamped) KO card...I think that's something that hurts them a lot..because if it becomes a recovery fight, Legion World will become that X factor, because no matter how hard they try to hit you, after 4 drop they'll loose at least 10 a drop. The fact that most of their characters are without range hurts..badly. The 4, alternate 5, 6, 7 and 8 have both flight and range..but 1-3...nope. But, most of them are reservists, so if you replace with 2 worlds, or air strike you won't miss out on too much if you get a character after replacing.

They have search, even though I like using cosmic tunning fork more because it speeds your deck up and has potential. They have revival, great support, and nice effects that gel together. A character that comes out for free [Jazmin],a great way to regain cosmic [discard star boy] draw power [Briainiac], Gain cosmic when you recover [Wildfire] and a one turn kill if you under drop[Live Wire, Garth Ranzz, on the 6 drop, after he gains a cosmic, boost with Sun Boy, Dirk Morgna, team attack their 7 drop so they loose 23 from that attack alone, then ram anyone else that's left, it'll be 23, plus 12, plus 10 should kill anyone..and make sure you Long live legionaries your 6 and 5 so you'll live also...Along with some nice burn, [Legion's world]

The alternate drops:
Spark, she's just a sub for Saturn girl, and plus she has flight, range and is a reservist, as is most of the deck, so if you replace something you can still recover the resource..since they have only 1 terraform location. Once you hit the low drops, just the alternate low drops for cosmic tunning fork food.

Once upon a time, I owned a Dragon tarot deck. It was my first, purchased in secret from a Borders

Once upon a time, I owned a Dragon tarot deck. It was my first, purchased in secret from a Borders while I was in eighth grade, attending a Christian school against my wishes. It was a product of rebellion and hate toward the system I was in. I wanted to celebrate my religion, and what better way to get back at my father than to do so in a way that he considered the devil's work?

I owned the deck up until about a year ago. When my ex bought me the Louis Royo deck, I was ecstatic. It is one of the most beautiful tarot decks that I've ever seen. There's only one issue... I can't remember the meanings for the cards. In my mind, the meanings are associated with the images that were on the dragon tarot not that long ago. I have to unlearn them. I'm still having issues with this because I don't have the time to just sit down and memorize them again.

Just a smidge of a rant.

Press Release | Comunicado de Prensa

Second expansion to Blizzard Entertainment(R)'s massively multiplayer online role-playing game will be available in standard and special collector's editions

IRVINE, Calif., Sep 15, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. announced today that World of Warcraft(R): Wrath of the Lich King(TM), the second expansion for its award-winning subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will arrive in stores on November 13 in North America, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia, and November 14 in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The expansion will be available in Korea and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on November 18. Details regarding the launch of Wrath of the Lich King in mainland China will be announced at a later date.

"We're looking forward to launching Wrath of the Lich King and finally giving World of Warcraft players a chance to take on Arthas and his minions," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "Until then, we'll continue to refine and playtest the expansion content to make sure it provides a highly polished and entertaining experience."

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King sends players to the cold, forbidding continent of Northrend, where the fearsome Lich King Arthas Menethil, last seen in Warcraft(R) III: The Frozen Throne(R), works from his secluded citadel to bring all of Azeroth under his twisted dominion. Players will battle the Lich King's undead army from the shores of Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra to the seat of his unholy power in Icecrown Glacier. In addition, players will be able to advance characters to level 80 and gain powerful new abilities while exploring several new zones and dungeons. The expansion also introduces a number of exciting new features, including an achievement system, expanded player-vs.-player combat options such as siege weapons and destructible buildings, and the game's first Hero class -- the necromantic death knight.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King will be available on DVD-ROM for Windows(R) XP/Windows Vista(R) and Macintosh(R) in two packages: a standard edition, which will sell for a suggested retail price of $39.99, and a special Collector's Edition (in select regions) priced at $69.99. The limited Collector's Edition package will contain:

-- The Art of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, a 208-page book featuring never-before-seen images from the game.

-- An exclusive in-game pet: Frosty, the baby frost wyrm.

-- A behind-the-scenes DVD containing over an hour of developer interviews, the Wrath of the Lich King intro cinematic with director's commentary, and more.

-- The official soundtrack CD, containing 21 epic tracks from the game, along with exclusive bonus tracks.

-- A mouse pad featuring a map of the newly opened continent of Northrend.

-- Two World of Warcraft Trading Card Game March of the Legion(TM) starter decks, along with two exclusive cards available only in the Collector's Edition.

The Wrath of the Lich King expansion requires the original World of Warcraft game, available now for a suggested retail price of $19.99, along with World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade(R), which sells for $29.99. These two products are combined in the World of Warcraft Battle Chest(R), available for $39.99. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King has received a Teen rating from the ESRB.

Since launching in November 2004, World of Warcraft has become the world's most popular MMORPG, with more than 10.9 million subscribers. The game's first expansion, The Burning Crusade, broke PC-game sales records in North America and Europe by selling nearly 2.4 million copies in its first 24 hours of availability and approximately 3.5 million copies in its first month.

The Celtic Tarot

I really should not be allowed on the internet without parental supervision...

The Celtic Tarot by Courtney Davis and Helena Paterson (not to be confused with about a gazillion other Celtic Tarots) caught my eye some time ago but I have always hesitated. I have seen scans where the images are bright and beautiful (as below) and some where they look very pale and insipid. Not knowing which I'd get, I'd managed to resist ordering it so far. But earlier today, as I was searching for something entirely different, I came across scans of the entire deck...and I was smitten.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. I am supposed to be writing about and appreciating my new Sheridan Douglas. I am supposed to be studying my Haindl. I am supposed to be saving all my money for baby (I hear they can be quite expensive).

I blame Amazon. Yes, it's all their fault. They just make it too easy. But look! How could I not? Even the "plain" non-scenic pips are beautiful.

I do not regret the decks I bought...only those I did not buy.

One of the many questions that are asked is why are outdoor structures and furniture made with cedar. While there are several different reasons that could be written about here, the most important one in our view is that cedar is a natural alternative to other outdoor woods that have to be treated chemically to last. One of the chemicals that are used in many of these applications is arsenic.

The term the EPA uses for this type of wood is CCA . This wood is treated with wood preservative containing chromium, copper and arsenic. These materials are used on outside structures on playgrounds, picnic areas and decks as well as wood furniture, arbors and pergolas for your homes. Since exposure to this substance is by ingestion, it is reasonable to assume that a child can get very ill due to biting on a structure or hand to mouth contact.

Because Western Red Cedar is all natural (not treated with any chemical), lightweight, stays cool and won't rot, it is the most sought after material to make safe and affordable outdoor structures for your home and family. It also smells great to people but not so much to many insets and other pests. High-end builders use cedar to line closets for this very reason and women love to have cedar chests for their sweaters and other delicate clothing.

Western Red Cedar is the perfect for building what you want for your life outside as well and make beautiful wood garden arbors and outdoor garden pergolas. You can also find great adirondack furniture, window boxes, planters and more. You will find that cedar will last far longer than you ever thought and is more comfortable than you ever dreamed.

For starters, this is a work in motion. The Format I want to use the deck in, will be modern, but for now, its Silver (6 drop Brainiac 2.5) and it flows so off. I am lacking 2 key things, Executive decision, and Professior Emil Hamilton * Ruin, that is the major strain on my deck right now.

Characters: (from 8 drop to 1 drop)

2 x Solaris, Tyrant Sun
3 x Brainiac 13, B-13
1 x Indigo, Brainiac 8
2 x Brainiac 2.5, future intelligence
3 x Doomsday, Evolution Advanced
1 x Preus, Citzen's Patrol
2 x Lex Luthor, Master Manipulator
1 x Hank Henshaw * Cyborg, Manhunter Grandmaster
2 x Metallo, Kryptonite Heart
2 x Atomic Skull, Cursed
1 x Professior Emil Hamilton * Ruin, Power Suit
2 x Alexandra Allston * Parasite, Power Drain
1 x Satanus, Colin Thornton
4 x Tera-Man, Toby Manning
4 x Winslow Schott * Toyman, Childs Play

Equipment:

3 x Power Armor

Plot Twists:

1 x Hunt For Nitro
4 x Battle for Metropolis
2 x Future Shock
2 x She-Hulk SMASH!
1 x Standoff
1 x Pathetic Attempt
1 x Messiah Complex
2 x No Retreat, No Surrender
1 x Invasion Plans
1 x Fatal Weakness
1 x Hidden Agenda
2 x Executive Privilage
2 x Imprisoned in the Source
1 x Knowledge is Power
1 x Never-Ending Battle
1 x Dimensional Deal
1 x World's Worstest
1 x Hostile Take Over

Notes:

There are really two ways to run this team, (well in my opinion)

Luthor Administration: The goal, is for you to give 5 drop Luthor as big as possible, since his effect requires you to stun a ready adjacent character, 4 drop Metallo is the perfect target. Stun him, Luthor is at 11/11, and your opponet looses 5, all for the cost of 4 endurance. Then, lets say Metallo survives to the 6, stun him again, so they loose 10, and luthor is at 15/15 on the 6. Bring out Indigo on turn 7, stun her, so Luthor gets a massive 7/7 and you gain 1 endurance out of it. (Your goal is to attack on odd turns, so you because at the very least, he'll be at 18/18 without any modifications.)

The 2nd way, well is to just curve out and fight. Terra-Man is one of your main fighters, after him, Professor H. to get whatever you need, (should be either Battle for Metropolis or Executive Decision) Atomic Skull, on the 5 I've found that Preus gets a little more play than Hank Henshaw, now, before you ask why, since he can go into a deck and strip something out, look at his stats 7/10. If you put everyone in the front row, he'll be at 13/10. If you have any Dimensional deal (for defense) or Battle for Metropolis, then he's at 17/10 without the power armor, on 6, I will go strictly with Doomsday, he starts at 14, he can get to 18, depending on your on-going plot twists, and about 20 with the armor.

Modifications:

Characters:

6 drop: I will run only 4 Doomsday, Evolution Advanced. This not only makes the deck modern, but helps the draw.

Plot Twist:

Dimensional Deal for World's Worstest. Good team up, but only 1 character in the deck has loyalty, and he's loyalty-reveal but +1 Atk while defending is better.

Future shock for She-Hulk Smash. +2 Atk for each character in opponents front row can get real dangerous, (its funny how that card would almost crush this deck.) but I usually hit my ongoing plot twists each turn, so after the 4th drop, that is +4/-4 or while attacking or defending, (hence the reinforcement card) and I can sacrifice either Tera-man or Professor Hamilton into a bigger character, so it makes sense that this would me my main attacking card.

Executive Decision for Hidden Agenda. Hidden Agenda isn't a bad card, but unless someone just knocks down my characters, and is about to attack direct (5 drop wolverine anyone.....) that is about the only use for that card, and not to mention that you still loose stun damage if they were hit already. The safest character that you can use that on, would be Metallo, because they will burn along with you.

This is a the rough draft of my idea for Frank castle clone, these are just the cards I'd use. i will begin to slim down for ratio of cards each drop. There are still two ways to run this deck. I have better experience with MK FAN 4 together.

Heroes of the City:

Herbie on 1, he alone is worth the Fan 4 team up. He moves equips and makes 1 cost (the biggest cost equips in the deck) equips free. Black widow for support.

Punisher on 2, but he dosen't attack, just survive for sniper shot food.

Punisher or Mr. Fantastic on 3. You should team-up by now, Eurika or 100 idea's or carrying the torch if you can, if not, pump sniper shot.

Punisher on 4, New Baxter Building, pop Herbie for Scatter gun or steel girder, begin the terror.

Punisher or Elektra or thing (I might drop him) on 5, Sniper shot.

Punisher or Elektra on 6, Flip a pier 4, double brass grill, start shooting.

If you remove the fantastic four, then just increase character search, protect sniper shot, and keep the two visible characters up.

Characters: (from 1 drop to 7 drop)

H.E.R.B.I.E., Robot Nanny

Black Widow, Femme Fatale

Punisher, Suicide Run

Punisher - Secret Avenger

Mr. Fantastic - Flexible Thinker

Mr. Fantastic, Critical Thinker

Elektra, Masterless Assassin

Punisher, Guns Blazing

Thing, Heavy Hitter

Punisher - Captain America

Punisher, Angel of Death

Plot twists:

Heroes of the City

Carrying the torch

Neighborhood watch

Wild Ride

Quick Kill

it's Clobbering Time

Defensive Formation
