So you sing to me again
That hollow, interminable lament
Which tears me from my sleep
To shackle me with dreams.
You always find new tricks to bring me home --
This stubbornly devoted concubine
Who finds privilege in the humble shadow
Of your fiercely glacial air,
And lingers with surrendered reverence
Around your volatile, smoldering depths.
Yes, I recognize your invocation;
It's a breath,
A regal salutation,
And a kiss.

But tell me, love --
Do you remember our game?
Do you remember
How I once melted in your embrace?
How completely I surrendered to the searing pain?
How obediently I waited
As the flames of passion threatened to destroy me?
How I believed that I would suffocate
Before you let me go?

Do you remember
How I branded myself,
Playing with fire
To cauterize your wounds?

I will return
With a torch
To clear the shadows of your long, tormented night.

Just, please --
Don't burn me now.

*A mentor told me years ago that she thought I was an aqlla in another life. Kind of a random thing to say, but I resurrect the idea here. This title, from Quechua, is a play on numerous levels of meaning. I'll break some of them down, should you be curious:

Aqllana/Aqllay = to select/choose -- This poem was inspired by an opportunity and the need to make a decison.

Aqlla = (lit.) chosen one

Aqlla = (historically) a bride of the sun. The aqllacuna (pl.) were taken from their homes, having been singled out (hence "aqlla") for a life of political and spiritual service to the Inca Empire. This decision, externally imposed, was based on physical appearance, and one could not refuse to be an aqlla. Furthermore, as the state appropriated an aqlla's sexuality, she lived under perpetual surveillance. Owned by the empire, she could be given as a concubine -- or sacrificed -- for the greater glory of the state and the higher interests of the people. Stakes were high; an aqlla was not free, and "transgressions" of the flesh, as well as any sign of disrespect toward the men she was ordered serve (service), were punishable by death.

In this poem, I refer to fire not only for its simultaneously destructive and purifying effects, but also because tending to a sacred fire was one of an aqlla's sacred responsibilities.

A little pre-Columbian trivia for you ;)

Do you look at this picture and feel your knees go weak and your heart start to race ?

kitten does because this is something she enjoys a lot, the feeling of being bound and helpless, there for His pleasure, to be used how and when He wishes and how He wishes, all these and many more feelings she loves, and that is something that is a part of her BUT and here's the thing, if you look through the internet you will find hundreds if not thousands of pictures like this, some mlder some more extreme and that is wonderful if you remember two things,

#1 Most of the pictures printed are 'staged', they are done by professionals and under strict supervision, they are not the normal scene play bondage, they are done and posed for the purpose of the photo only

#2 The subs/slaves in them are CONSENTING and have agreed to all that is taking place, it is not against their will but with their permission and the express desire to be bound and tied for pleasure.

Bondage is not something for everyone, kitten knows it is something she loves but she also knows that there has to be a lot of trust and faith in your partner before you can really clear your mind and enjoy all the pleasures that being helpless and at the mercy of another can bring, start of small and work your way to more and more if it is something that you are interested in, the pleasures it can bring are untold and worth it.

Their opinions should not matter, the life you lead is your life not theirs but unfortunately they do affect you, no matter who you are, others have the power to destroy you if you let them, the key is to not let them and to rise above them, be the bigger person and walk away.
Bonjour,

Bonjour,

WINDOWS : http://www.erestraint.com/realrestraint/
MACOS X (courtesy of Mo Noel) : http://www.erestraint.com/realrestraint
LINUX : (courtesy of Loom Kish) : http://www.loomiverse.net/RestrainedLife

enjoy ^^

Having tipped the Storm to win back to back premierships, I am still in shock at the hammering Manly

Having tipped the Storm to win back to back premierships, I am still in shock at the hammering Manly dished out to Melbourne in the NRL Grand Final yesterday. In fact the victory was the largest winning margin of NRL Grand Final history, with a 40-0 thumping of the Storm.

It was a match that signalled the end of various careers, especially that of Steve Menzies (349 games) for Manly and Matt Geyer’s for Melbourne. Menzies (known as ‘Beaver’) completed his NRL career on top, while Mat Geyer will remember his last game as a heart-breaking loss.

Having been the best team in the competition until the final series, Melbourne began their fall from premiership glory with a loss to New Zealand in their first finals match of the season. Having barely defeated Brisbane in the following game, the Storm beat Cronulla before advancing to the Grand Final.

Questions are now being asked as to the immediate future of the Melbourne Storm – is this the beginning of the end of Melbourne’s NRL domination, will they make the finals next year, etc? However, all of this talk of a declining Melbourne side seems a little premature at this stage. Certainly they performed well below their best during the final series, but they remain a great side, though they will loose some great players before next season. Mat Geyer, Michael Crocker and Israel Folau will all be gone from the Storm next year.

The Manly side finished the year on the same points as Melbourne (as did Cronulla), though Melbourne were the Minor Premiers on for and against. Manly were the deserved winners of the Grand Final and were by far the superior team in the finals series.

Manly prop Brent Kite took out the Clive Churchill Medal as man of the match. Matt Orford was the Dally M Player of the Year.

Through out the mainstream media we have become saturated by images of womens bodies, so much so that we often fail to recognize the negative impact that these images have on society. Music Videos especially splatter nameless faces and bodies of girls also known as videohos to appeal to mass culture. You can't watch a video it seems without barely clad women nor can you express your creativity outside this form. So this is my appeal to unplug! Unplug your MTV, Unplug your BET, or better yet contact your favorite artist and demand better standards and encourage creativity outsides the confines of sexism, misogyny, hypersexualization, domination, typecasting to name a few.

We're in the kitchen. God knows what I've done,
But judging by the look upon his face
The next few minutes won't be too much fun.
I don't know if it's falling out of grace,
His giant anger blotting out the sun,
Or panic over what will soon take place,
But everything that can begins to run:
Piss down my legs, tears from my eyes, thoughts race

Around my head, but can't find an escape
Or couldn't then, or there: though in those years
A way of winning did, perhaps, take shape
In my imagination, in that dream
Of being bound & whipped: which stopped my tears
And turned my piss, amazingly, to cream.

so i am rather biased :) So as film dyrector states himself:

Alican Serbest:
I didn't study cinema but educated myself and gathered a team of my friends, educated them as well :) Then shot short movies for 8 years. This was the latest of them. We are trying to get into the professional area :)

synopsis:

It is year 2092 and vegetation is almost completely perished all over the world.
A police team has just followed a suspect to a roof.
There, they will learn a bitter truth that will affect all human race.

so no biggy, but still for me = cool to see turkish movie.

You have been pushing me, pulling at me, begging me for more of my time. Overtly and subtly.

Late one evening, on the phone, I hear your voice.

In the background, I hear your doorbell. I tell you to go answer it.

I hear him ask for you and tell you he was sent by me.

You race to the phone, full of inquiry. I tell you to place the phone on the counter and obey. No talking.

With a half ear tuned t you, I hear him tell you to kneel, to open your mouth.

I hear a slap.

Then: low moans murmured directions, gagging sounds.

Finally, I hear the grunt. You know the one, you make it when you are secretly jacking off to my photos.

I hear his voice fade, the door slam.

Soon, you come on the line, gasping, gently weeping.

You wanted my attention.

Are you pleased?

The trouble is, it’s not the kinky stuff
That gets to me the most, it’s not the cane
That cuts me, & it’s not the strap or cuff
That stops me running out into the rain -
It’s not the pain that makes me cry enough
It's not the candle burning in my brain
Which tells me that perhaps I’m not so tough
And says I shouldn’t meet with you again:

It’s not the kinky stuff, or what we do,
But what we don’t, and all the gaps between:
Those glimpses of the rest and best of you,
More than a plastic goddess, or a queen:
Both more & less, as I am less & more
Than that strange love we come together for.
