Agora vale tudo e surgem abertamente na ofensiva as mulheres desta campanha - <span style="color:#003366;"><strong>Michelle Obama</strong></span>, <strong><span style="color:#003366;">Sarah Palin</span></strong> &#38; <span style="color:#003366;"><strong>Cindy McCain</strong></span> (apontamento claramente sexista e politicamente incorrecto, que faço questão de sublinhar ser voluntário, e suspeito que de concordância íntima de muito boa gente). Em <a href="http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/08/obama.excerpts/index.html"><span style="color:#333399;">entrevista a </span><span style="color:#003366;"><strong>Larry King</strong></span></a>, <span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Michelle Obama</strong></span> pauta-se pela polidez estratégica que norteia a campanha do marido. Mas não evita algumas farpas, sendo a maior de todas a jogada da superioridade moral face à consorte de McCain: «<em>sabe, aperto-lhe a mão</em>», ou seja, 'olhe, a Cindy é uma cabra rica e malcriada, mas está em campanha e eu faço o favor de ser melhor que ela'. Michelle falava na sequência das declarações de <a href="http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/08/campaign.wrap/index.html" target="_blank"><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Cindy McCain </strong></span><span style="color:#333399;">ao <em>Tennessean</em></span></a>, imediatamente a seguir ao debate, afirmando que Obama «<em>is running the dirtiest campaign in American history</em>». Bem... a senhora tem idade para se lembrar do Richard Milhous. Por seu lado, <strong>Sarah Palin</strong>, aquela que, do Alasca vê a Rússia e, portanto, o mundo, partiu para o ataque em forma, acusando Obama de «<em>palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.</em>». Referia-se à 'pista' William Ayers, que não leva a lado nenhum, mas que já hoje foi de novo utilizada pela campanha republicana. Amores e ódios andam à solta, neste <em>ticket </em>eleitoral, que é também conjugal.</p>

Outros tempos, outras guerras. Dele surgiu este <em>standard</em>, </span>um clássico que mais de 600 artistas se atreveram a enfrentar, com resultados variáveis. A escolha de hoje recai num monstro do jazz, gigantesco no improviso, exemplar no respeito e na admiração pelo melhor do <em>Great American Songbook</em>. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Jarrett"><span style="color:#003366;"><strong>Keith Jarrett</strong></span></a>. Uma interpretação memorável.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Am încercat de multe ori să mi-i imaginez pe Jack de Johnette, Gary Peacock și Keith Jarrett cum erau acum 35 de ani. Nu în înregistrări, live. Am văzut ceva concerte cu ei, dar cu jazzu e altă poveste între audițiile live și înregistrări.</p>

Așa arătau. <a href="http://www.petersarik.com/e_hir.php">Peter Sarik Trio</a>, sincronizări excelente în improvizații, compoziții frumoase și mai ales libertatea aia care ți-o dă jazz-u. Ce mai, meseriași baieții.<br />

<p>Văd că au mai fost prin România, acum câțiva ani chiar au primit un <a href="http://www.petersarik.com/galeria.php?nyelv=eng&#38;k=10">premiu</a> de la nea Lungu.</p>

<p>Nanni Moretti - the director - is scooting around the deserted streets of Rome on his vespa. "<strong>My secret dream has always been to dance well</strong>" he confesses. Next thing we see him jumping on stage in his crash helmet to sing along with a samba band. The couples tangoing together carry on dancing oblivious to his intrusion.</p>
<p>It's a wryly amusing scene which illustrates the "a bit off" off beat, but good-natured nature of this film.</p>
<p>Morretti is likeable, and i share his wryly gentle self-mocking take on life. He's the bemused spectator of life's funny little ironies and droll absurdities. Best to keep your crash-helmet on even when you're not riding your bike. Just in case. You get smacked on the head with a loosely lobbed rotten tomato.</p>
<p>The film feels slight tho, thin. It's - Morretti's - point seems to be to poke gentle fun at: critics, intellectual pretension, alternative and orthodox medicine, the Italian over-indulgence of "bambino's", and his own neurotic anxieties.</p>
<p>He dries out his satire on a slow moving wheel of idiosyncratic, but passively ineffectual, whimsicality.</p>
<p>The whole last third of the film is taken up with his concern re an itch that he can't get rid of  - which turns out to be Hodgkins lymphoma, a treatable cancer. Woody Allen does this kind of hypochondriacal anxiety better and funnier, wittily and painfully enrolling you in his neurotic angst; so that you get to a point where it feels all too ridiculously personal, and all too scarily human. Moretti is too drily detached to get you engaged or caught up with worry or genuine care in his illness.</p>
<p>Nothing much seems to be vitally at stake. Not even having cancer (strangely enough) The film - Moretti's life - is lulling and lolling through - with ocassional but brief, amused or amusing little ironic interludes to provide sardonic relief.</p>
<p>I think i only kept it cus he's got 5 minutes of Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert playing over the sequence where he's riding - and being tracked from behind - on his vespa, searching for Pasolini's grave.</p>
<p>Otherwise, there's not much to get your teeth into. Or your heart.</p>

<p>Asa ca am pus cap la cap clipurile de cate 10 minute de pe Youtube intr-un playlist. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=85DF2D6F550A37CB" target="_blank">Aici</a>.</p>
<p>Acum cateva zile am decis ca singura cale de a trece peste e sa ascult albumul pana cand... well, nu stiu pana cand. Problema: nu e de vanzare prin magazinele din Bucuresti. Am fost la Carturesti si alte cateva. Mi se pare dubios - pana la urma e cel mai bine vandut album jazz solo. O fi sold-out? Daca stie cineva unde as avea sanse - 'elp!</p>
<p>Am <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_K%C3%B6ln_Concert" target="_blank">citit</a> o faza tare: primele note sunt, de fapt, jingle-ul de la Opera din Koln care anunta oamenii sa isi stinga tigarile si sa intre in sala. De aici si rasetele imediat urmatoare. Mi se pare genial - sa dezvolti una dintre cele mai tari improvizatii din jazz (ever!) plecand de la un semnal sonor de genul asta.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jag har precis ätit ett par rutor <em>Síríus</em> innehållande puffat <em>hrís</em> (bland annat. <em>Sykur</em> och <em>kakósmjör</em> ingår givetivs också i <em>súkkulaðin</em>).<br />
En syster är tillbaka från klassresan på <em>Ísland</em>, en moder har åkt på semester till New York.<br />
De har så att säga avlöst varandra. (Mängden familjemedlemmar i hemmet är konstant … glöm inte: <em>lyriskt</em> för er som kan er Beckett).</p>
<p>Jag har (redan) träningsverk i benen. Trots att jag går till skolan varje dag … Nåja, jag kanske borde passa på att springa en omväg på ett par mil också för att vänja mig.<br />

Vilket är bra.</p>
<p>Skrivit början på en Etude i G-dur med ett underligt intro i bland annat C-dur. Lyssnat på lite av varje, fortfarande mest jazz. Keith Jarretts <em>Tabarka</em> i bakgrunden nu.<br />
Spelat piano också. Att spela jazz är svårt, mycket svårare än … tja, klassisk musik. Inte för att jag är bra på att spela klassiskt heller.<br />
Det är väl för att jag är ovan, och för att jag spelar sällan. I alla fall ganska sällan, och tillräckligt okoncentrerat, omotiverat och inkonsekvent för att det ska ge "resultat". Har ingen lärare och spelar helt utan "mål". Fast någonstans vill jag väl ändå bli bättre. Frågan är hur det ska gå till så tankspridd som jag är (tänker inte utveckla, vet inte ens själv vad jag menar med det).<br />
Flera gånger har jag försökt ta upp spelandet på allvar [igen], men det verkar inte bli av. Började som kanske bekant för första gången vid tre års ålder. Spelade i tre år, tröttnade, hade inte mycket med det att göra på kanske fem, sex år. Började sedan sakta och inte speciellt säkert återuppta det hela, gradvis. Spelade först enkla melodier hämtade ur minnet, skrev efter kanske ett par år små enkla kompositioner (som fortfarande finns kvar). Improviserade fram det mesta. Nivån blev mycket långsamt högre och är trots inaktiviteten bättre idag än vad den måste ha varit för 10-13 år sedan.<br />
Musikaliskt har jag inga problem, men jag saknar helt teknik. Det lilla jag en gång lärde mig är bortblåst, och det lilla jag nu kan sitter mest i huvudet. På fel ställe alltså, i fingrarna ska det vara.<br />
Som sagt, kanske ska jag försöka ta och anstränga mig lite. Men jag vet inte riktigt varför. Kanske för att jag tycker om att spela piano. (Sedan kan jag ju komma med en del klagomål på min flygel också, men det vore dumt. Det är inte många som ens har en flygel trots allt …)<br />
Man får väl se, som med allt. Antar jag.</p>
<p>Sedan kommer här ytterligare något, om något som tidigare berörts.<br />
Kvinnlighet, manlighet … whawhawha. Blablabla. Jaja, så här ligger det väl till:<br />
Utifrån det spirituella, subjektiva perspektivet finns det faktiska och värdemässiga skillnader mellan män och kvinnor, manlighet och kvinnlighet. Skillnaden mellan begreppen är på riktigt och ifrågasätts överhuvudtaget inte.<br />
Utifrån det materiella, objektiva perspektivet finns inga som helst skillnader. Kvinnor och män är bara fysiskt existerande klumpar av materia som svävar runt i universum. De följer vissa sociala mönster och formas i stort sett endast av omvigningen i takt med att de växer upp. Tabula rasa. Vad gäller kvinnlighet och manlighet är begreppen inexisterande, abstraktioner utan koppling till något. Förankringslöst kanske, kliniskt, vetenskapligt fritt från värderingar och åsikter.<br />
Thesis, antithesis.<br />
Synthesis:<br />
Båda sätten att se på det hela existerar. Antingen är det skillnad eller så finns skillnaden inte. Det är oviktigt om något är rätt, fel eller varken eller. Rätt och fel existerar fortfarande. Stridigheterna mellan de olika (filosoferna, vetenskapsmännen) är fånig, rentav poänglös och naiv, barnslig. Kanske det. Men så är det. <em>Verkligheten</em> accepterar båda teorierna, avfärdar dem också båda genom att gå vidare och helt bestämma över händelseförloppet och vilka fördomar som infrias och vilka som inte gör det.<br />
Ja, på något plan existerar manlighet och kvinnlighet. Det är uppenbart, utan ursprunglig, grundläggande natur skulle det [kanske] vara svårt för oss människor att överhuvudtaget peka ut skillnader och också se likheter. Sameness and difference. Läste ni Sandokai? Jag länkade förut, ni har chansen att gå tillbaka.<br />
Saker och ting är väl olika, och lika. Samtidigt.<br />
Just nu måste jag helt enkelt bara säga att jag inte vet. Jag har inte någon erfarenhet som har kunnat säga till mig vad som verkar mest vettigt. Inte för att jag tror att något behöver vara "vettigt" på det sättet för att vara verkligt. Men jag vet inte, trots allt. Jag fortsätter med mitt sittande och ser sedan om det ger resultat. Fortsätter försöka att ta en sak i taget och vara försiktig, noggrann och agera utifrån buddhistisk moral (som är nuets moral, inget annat). Göra det som krävs just nu här och nu, oavsett "storlek" … Det låter ju trots allt ändå vettigast.<br />
Om jag sedan är man eller kvinna kan ju inte riktigt jag avgöra, och det kan ingen annan heller. För att kommunicera, som vi alla måste, kan jag förenkla (eller försvåra) det hela genom att kalla mig för det ena eller det andra. Men egentligen är det oviktigt vad jag väljer att definiera mig som. Och även om jag slutligen skulle definiera mig betyder inte det något. Att jag kallar mig "man" betyder inte att jag måste bete mig "manligt" eller se "manlig" ut. Att jag kallar mig "kvinna" betyder inte att jag måste bete mig "kvinnligt" eller se "kvinnlig" ut. (Poetisk dubbelmening, lite jobbigt att läsa i prosaisk text kanske.) Och att jag beter mig och ser ut på ett visst sätt vid ett visst tillfälle betyder inte att det inte kan ändras. Jag kan byta utseende om jag vill (inte fruktansvärt mycket kanske, men i alla fall märkbart). Om jag vågar är en annan sak. Vissa vågar göra vissa saker, jag kanske inte kan göra det i samma utsträckning på lika kort tid. Det kanske måste ske gradvis. Det kanske till och med börja gradvis från en punkt till en annan, för att sedan, efter eventuellt accepterande, gradvis återgå till det osäkra gränsområdet – eller stanna upp någonstans och helt enkelt nöja mig. När jag nöjer mig vet jag aldrig. Det är inte heller viktigt.<br />
Slutligen. Alltså, det som kan verka paradoxalt utifrån ett logiskt perspektiv är inte alls paradoxalt utifrån ett <em>verkligt</em> perspektiv. Och verkligheten är verkligen inte alls logisk, för logiken är verkligen inte alltid verklig.<br />

Keith Jarrett in versione piano solo alla Fenice di Venezia il 19 luglio e l’omaggio a Mozart di Chick Corea,a Verona il 3 luglio, con un quartetto jazz e i 30 elementi dell’orchestra <span>Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie saranno i due grandi eventi, che caratterizzeranno la nuova edizione di Veneto Jazz Festival. Gli eventi dell’iniziativa, organizzato da Veneto Jazz</span> in collaborazione con la <strong>Regione,</strong></span><span> <strong>Fondazione Banca Antonveneta</strong></span><span> e <strong>Vodafone</strong></span><span><span>, si <span> </span>terranno tra il 3 luglio e il 22 settembre.</span></span><span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>A tenere alto il cartellone dell’intera manifestazione i due eventi unici, che vedranno protagonisti due dei più grandi pianisti jazz viventi, Jarret e Corea, che hanno in comune il fatto di avere militato,i periodi diversi, nelle formazioni di gigante del jazz Miles Davis, a cui Veneto Jazz dedica due mostre. La prima inaugurata il 10 giugno al teatro la Fenice di Venezia (“Il colore di Miles – Dipinti, disegni, video”) e che durerà sino al 31 luglio. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Inoltre, a Bassano del Grappa, si terrà “I suoni di Miles Davis”, dal 24 giugno al 31 luglio, mostra audiovisiva dedicata all’intera produzione discografica del trombettista, che darà modo di ascoltare 1.500 brani e di ammirare molti filmati inediti.</span></p>

L’evento in prima nazionale si terrà <strong>lunedì 3 luglio</strong></span><span> al <strong>teatro Romano di Verona</strong></span><span>, in occasione delle celebrazioni del <strong>250° anniversario della nascita di Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart</strong></span><span>. <span> </span>Il<span>  </span>pianista del Massachusetts è stato incaricato dal Mozart Jahhar Wien 2006 a rendere omaggio al geniale compositore con un concerto per pianoforte e orchestra che sarà presentato in prima mondiale al teatro dell’opera di Vienna il 1 luglio. Corea con la <span>Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie eseguirà il concerto per pianoforte e orchestra </span>n. 24 K 491 di Mozart e <span>una nuova composizione, il piano concerto n.2, accompagnato sempre dall’orchestra e dal trio jazz di</span> Tim Garland al sax e flauto, Hans Glawischnig al contrabbasso, Marcus Gilmore alla batteria.</span></p>

Un’operazione nata in questi mesi e che ha trovato l’assenso del grande pianista, pronto a cimentarsi in questa prova della sua nuova maturità artistica in nel prestigioso palcoscenico veneziano.</span></p>

Keith Jarrett เป็นนักเปียโนแจ๊สที่มีพื้นฐานดนตรีคลาสสิก ช่วงหนึ่งเขาเคยออกผลงานนตรีคลาสสิก แต่ได้รับผลตอบรับที่ไม่ดีนัก  Keith Jarrett เป็นนักดนตรีที่มีไหวพริบในการเล่นเป็นอย่างมาก เวลาออกคอนเสิร์ต ผู้ชมจะไม่รู้ว่าเขาจะเล่นเพลงอะไร เพราะเขาจะอิมโพรไวส์ หรือด้นสดเมื่อขึ้นเวทีแล้วเท่านั้น</p>
<p>อัลบัม The Koln Concert เป็นอัลบัมเดี่ยวเปียโนแจ๊ส แผ่นนี้ก็เช่นกัน เขาเดี่ยวเปียโนด้วยการด้นสดเดี๋ยวนั้น ซึ่งเขาต้องใช้ไหวพริบในการเล่นเป้นอย่างมากเพื่อที่จะสร้างเมโลดี้ และโครงสร้างเพลงให้ต่อเนื่องกันได้ สำหรับอัลบัมชุดนี้มีโครงสร้างคล้ายเพลงคลาสสิก ผสมผสานแจ๊ส แนวดนตรีในช่วงแรกจึงเต็มไปด้วยเมโลดี้ที่สวย อ่อนหวาน เต็มไปด้วยอารมณ์ความรู้สึกรแมนติกอย่างเต็มเปี่ยม</p>

<p>สำหรับแผ่นเสียงชุดนี้ ผมซื้อมาตั้งแต่ยังไม่มีเครื่องเล่นแผนเสียง เป็นแผ่นเสียงผลิตใหม่ อัลบัมนี้มีด้วยกันสองแผ่น ความหนา 180 Gram ปกติแผ่นเสียงของ ECM มักจะไม่ผลิตเป็นแผ่นหนา จะมีก็เฉพาะแผ่นเสียงชุดนี้ The Koln Concert เป็นชุดที่ขายดีที่สุดของ jarrett รวมถึงสังกัด ECM ด้วย </p>
<p>เสียงเปียโนในแผ่นเสียงชุดนี้มีไดนามิกที่ดีมาก การบันทึกเสียงทำได้ดี ซึ่งนับว่าหายากมากสำหรับแผ่นเดี่ยวเปียโนจะมีเสียงที่ดีได้ เพราะขั้นตอนการบันทึกเสียงเปียโนทำได้ยาก นอกจากเสียงเปียโนแล้ว เสียงบรรยากาศรอบ ๆ อย่างเช่นเสียงครวญของ  Keith Jarrett ( Keith Jarrett เป็นนักเปียโนที่มีเสียงครางดังมาก ยิ่งตอนที่เขาคิดถึงเมโลดี้ที่เขาคิดได้แล้วเล่นออกมาได้ เขาจะร้องออกมาดังมาก นักฟังบางคนก็ไม่ชอบแต่บางคนบอกว่ามนเป็นธรรมชาติดี) ที่น่าสังเกตอีกอย่างคือ เสียงกระทืบเท้าลงบนพื้นเวทีในเพลงแรกหน้าแรก ถ้าซิสเต็มถึง ๆ เสียงนี้จะเหมือนเสียงกระทืบเท้าที่เกิดขึ้นตรงหน้า ผมเคยไปฟังซิสเต็มนี้ของรุ่นพี่คนหนึ่งต้องอึ้งครับ มาฟังที่บ้านแล้วเสียงมันเล็กไปถนัดใจ</p>
<p>สำหรับท่านที่ชอบเสียงเปียโนอัลบัมนี้คือหนึ่งในอัลบัมการบันทึกเสียงเปียโนที่ดีมากชุดหนึ่ง เพลงในหน้าแรกแผ่นแรกไพเราะมาก มีท่วงทำนองติดหูทันทีที่ได้ฟัง เพราะมีลีลาดนตรีคลาสสิกแฝงเร้นอยู่</p>

<p>แผ่น The Koln Concert เป็นแผ่นที่หาไม่ยากนัก แผ่นของผมซื้อที่ร้าน Deco มาหลายปีแล้ว ราคาไม่แพงครับ แผ่นใน Ebay พยายามเลือกแผ่นที่มีสภาพดีเอาไว้ก่อน และควรเป็นแผ่นที่ผลิตในเยอรมัน และไม่ควรประมูลมาในราคาสูง</p>

<p>Every musician plays notes, but some of them think about the nature of sound a lot more than others. For them, music isn't just a conveyor of melody and rhythm, but a pathway into sound itself. <p>Surprisingly, pianist<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Jarrett"> <strong>Keith Jarrett</strong></a>, who is anti-electronic, and far from minimalist, still reflects a similar desire to get to the essence of sound.<br />

But what it suggests is that I don't really need all that big an instrument to justify what I want to hear.</p>
<p>Keith Jarrett, Terry Riley, Brian Eno and John Cage. They are musicians who have gone into the microcosms of sound, often returning to produce some of the most influential, and even popular music of the last 50 years. They are among ten artists we'll hear next week on a special <strong><a href="http://www.echoes.org">Echoes</a></strong> series called <em><a href="http://www.echoes.org/ThoughtsInSound.html">Thoughts in Sound</a></em>.
