Well mine is more of a martini/vodka cran with fried chicken fingers/shrimp gut...

My Operation Shrink a Gut (jacked from Mr. Funky Fresh) has been under way for a couple of weeks now...but I keep squitsing (how do you like that one :) ) it out with my diet iyah. Mudslides, chicken quesadillas with cheesy mashed potatos, fried fish and all types of fruity cocktails have been the order of the weekends gone by.

Sigh...the gym is too much work for me to continue like this!!! My eating is outta control... Trying to get a handle. I signed up for three months at the gym this time which i'm so happy about cus one month will come and go with hardly any results. It's a nice gym too...fancy shmancy...I know quite a few people already going there and a few more by face... Uptown gym with AC and sauna and cycling room and shiieeeet ... My birthday is in a couple of months...Trying to get some sort of result by then...any kinda result...just not worst off than I am now!!!

The LDR is going ok too. No, it's not the cause of my diet crisis...I just love to nyam and if you take me out to a sports bar...i'ma eat aaaalllll the fried stuff!! There's been a few moments when I really miss LB, but for the most part i'm holding up pretty well. He's gotten extra emotional though. I guess he's the one in the new environment without any familiar faces/places hence the emotional overkill...overkill is the wrong word...I LOVE the new LB, just never expected all this...

My debt situation took a turn for the better too...and I've begun to save. I consolidated with one place that has GREAT rates and made it super easy. Yippeee! I bought myself a couple new things...one of my coworkers ask me how come as soon as LB gone mi start dress up...LOL...she wouldn't understand what a new car and a few extra dollars can do for a girl. I'm trying to be extra careful now, I'm not going back down that road at all at all.

My little sister turned 17 the other day and I took her out with me to a party. Lawx, what a reminder of exactly how old I am! Never again. Hmph...all the guys were all over her...nobody never even see seh mi stand up side a her. Struuups. Likkle gyal a whine up herself like nobody's business. I use to clean dat ass! She handled herself well though, I am proud.

So that's whats been going on with me. What about you? Oh...I'd prolly know if I checked in on your blogs right...lemme go do that :)

The truth finally comes out as the gents regale us with the tale of how they came to be. It's a sordid highway soap opera, written at the wheel of a dump truck on the parchment of mighty Route 3. This jam-packed episode also explores the vagaries of alcohol purchasing and matters of finding Jesus and hears the exciting conclusion to High-Voltage Hijinks with L.B., along with a visit from the boys at The Magic Hour. So strap in. To you, this episode is presented.

WaMu is now squadoosh

yet another lesson in not buying huge, volume laden downside losers
..lest you get Lehmanized, Fannie Maid, Freddie Macked, Bear Streanified, Refco'd, Globally Crossed, Worldconned, or perhaps worst of them all : <del datetime="00">Sunbeamed</del>, no.. Enron'd

even if you're not taking this junk home overnight, you should fear for their getting halted intraday
example : PPC bounce players on wednesday? stuckholders into thursday morning.. as the stock re-opened down some 40 percent

we simply must be wary of the bounce game , or risk becoming trader roadkill

With few exceptions, uptrenders are the way to go

downtrenders are for shorts.. I don't short very often, and so for the most part : I don't concern myself w/ downtrenders

It keeps me out of trouble

maybe someday I'll short more often, if the government doesn't first prevent me from being able to do so (yes the no-short rule is lame and smacks of protectionism. I wonder how far it will creep, and how long it will last)

regardless, there will always be some sort of niche company on the up-and-up... I intend to continue finding them, preferably early

and so with that : a sampling of what I'm watching..

PEET is a leading coffee stock

For about 3 days straight now, LB has crawled into my bed at 5 am. I'm wondering if it has something to do with needing to go potty, or if its just post-traumatic stress disorder from her dad crawling into her bedroom while she was sleeping over at Grandma's Saturday night. Maybe its a combination of both.

When LB crashes Mama's slumber party, she brings her whole gang: Ariel, Stitch, Polar bear, Carebear, her blanket....the whole pre-school posse. This morning ritual of Ariel'sred, synthetic doll-hair itching the crap out of my nose has one benefit: I no longer sleep through my alarm. In fact, I've been up and out the door on time every morning this week! When my alarm does go off, LB stands straight up in my bed and says "What's dat Mama? Tun it off!"

Yeah, there's no going back to sleep after that.

I went to court this morning but was informed there was no court in session today. Since I am so high tech, and have figured out that you can check the dockets for every county court on the Colorado State Judicial website. This way I can save myself the trip (wow 2 whole blocks!) to physically check the dockets. Sadly, I haven't had much success in witnessing an actual couple in court, but this week has been so crazy I'm not going to stress about it.

Tomorrow is a huge conference (for our puny town) put on by the school district, so I have resembled a rabbit on speed all day long. I also have been asked to speak at the Women's Resource Center this Friday, which will be my first public speaking engagement EVER. Did I mention I got a "C" in Speech class? Did I mention I haven't been in front of an audience since I was 17 as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz?

Deep breath. And Don't spew.

LB is coming home soon. I’m so excited to see him and to just hang out with him like old time

LB is coming home soon. I'm so excited to see him and to just hang out with him like old times. I miss him so much already and he's only been away at college for a month. I miss just being able to watch TV with him. I miss watching Family Guy with him. I miss hearing him talk like Chris and Peter and making me laugh. No matter what mood I'm in LB can always make my laugh, or at least smile. I love him so much yet there are some times when he pisses me off and makes me so angry I could strangle him (out of love of course). We always forgive each other, well actually we usually forget why we even started fighting or one of us will say a funny movie quote and we will bust out laughing.

LB is 18 years old, he's about 6 foot 4 inches and really strong (he can pick me up if that says anything about his strength) and he used to wrestle in high school and he plays rugby. Yet despite all of this I'm extremely protective of him. Even though he claims he's the body guard in our little group (of the two of us). It's funny but even though he's 18 and over 6 feet tall I still see him as that tiny (if you consider 9lbs 4oz at birth to be tiny), red-faced, screaming child that I used to cover with a blanket hoping he'd disappear.

It's funny to me how I'm the OLDER sister but he's the BIG brother. I find not so funny things funny.

I guess now I know what my parents are going through with three grown children, one being a husband and a father. I guess I understand it a little bit now when my mum says to me "oh I remember when you were that little" or "I remember when you used to wear this" (as she shows me your typical mid-80's outfit that resembles something Michelle Tanner wore in Full House). And now that I'm an Aunt I get to witness my niece grow from that tiny floppy newborn to a chubby, smiling, giggling, adorable little girl with a huge personality (she has her mothers patience and her fathers temper-not a good combo, at all). It truly is amazing, a miracle even.

So here's to all the fun times we've had together LB and to the millions more that have yet to come.

I took this photo and it turned out to be one of my fave's of LB.

In a Very Special Electric Variety Hour, the gents examine the chafed and sore underbelly of life in the United States Armed Services with special guest Cutty, codename Rabbit. His trials and tribulations, not to be taken lightly, can serve as a lesson to us all that there's no shame in trying and failing, but in failing to try. And maybe in having your codename be Rabbit. Old LB regales us with another tale from the great Hatfield Swamp, and a vintage educational short from Prof. Richard Clough comes back from the grooveyard to teach us about Abbatrons versus Mellotrons. To you, this episode is presented.

This is an introductory post, as it is the first post on this blog, I am going to tell you a little

This is an introductory post, as it is the first post on this blog, I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. Try not to fall asleep. My name is Jessi, I just recently turned 24 on August 15 (thanks for the belated birthday wishes) and I live in Ohio (OH-IO!). I currently live at home with the ‘rents (saving money to get a place of my own) in a teeny tiny little room that’s roughly the size of a walk in closet. I love small spaces because it not only forces you to keep only the necessities and the things you treasure the most, it also forces you to be creative when it comes to decorating and utilizing every nook and cranny. If I were to move out I’d probably rent a tiny studio apartment uptown just so I could still enjoy a small space (plus it leaves little room for the Boogie Man to hide).

I am four classes shy of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Graphic Design. I don’t really like American businesses or how they run which makes it difficult to finish my degree, however I do love arty stuff and being creative, so I guess I’ll finish just for the minor degree.

I am the middle child and only daughter, I have an older brother who is married to a wonderful woman, and in April I became an aunt (which is my favourite title so far) to the most beautiful little girl on the planet (I may be just a little biased). I also have a younger brother who is my best friend and who just recently left for college which was bittersweet to say the least, thankfully he is only an hour away but it’s still weird not having him around to make me laugh. I was blessed with the most amazing, incredible, loving family a gal could ask for. We all get together at least 2 or 3 times a week for dinner or lunch or just to hang out.

I'm a photographer (I just finished my new website, http://www.justagirlandhernikon.com/), a coach (I coach a high school rugby team), I love to write but I don't like to read (I'd love to write a novel someday, I have a ton of stories that I need to transfer from my brain to my computer), I'd love to get married someday and have a few kids, I love hiking and camping but hardly ever go, I love to travel but don't have the money to, I'd love to pack up and move to Chicago but I'd miss my family and friends too much, I love coffee but my weak stomach prevents me from drinking it, I love Chinese food but have no desire to travel to China, I love my life (even though I still live at home and don't have a high paying job), I'd rather make $30,000 a year than $300,000 a year, I really want a MacBook Pro but I don't have $3,000 to buy one, I could care less about the current economy woes because I think if we can survive 1 stock market crash we can survive another one, I love America and my freedom but sometimes I think America is overrated and we have a "big head", I love history - my two favourite times/places in history are: America - Lewis, Clark & Sacajawea and the expansion of the West; Europe - during the reigns of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, I wish I could redo college and major in early European history instead of Business, my little brother is my best friend, I love eating waffles and drinking Chocolate Banana Vivanno's.

That's about it for now. I hoped you enjoyed getting to know me a little better.

Got questions? Just ask!

E quelli furbi cosa fanno?

Comprano.

[caption id="attachment_320" align="aligncenter" width="329" caption="Al Wilson punished defenders for eight seasons for the Denver Broncos. "][/caption]

I wanted to make some room on SportRoids to give a shout out for the recently announced retiree Al Wilson. For those of you unfamiliar with him, Al Wilson was the starting middle linebacker for the Denver Broncos from 1999 through 2006. Out of a possible 128 regular season games, Wilson only missed three of them, and ended up as the starter in 120.

Al Wilson will be remembered by NFL fans as one of the greatest sideline-to-sideline middle linebackers of the league, and by Broncos faithful as one of the greatest defensive player in Denver history. During eight seasons playing in the National Football League, he managed to make the pro bowl five out of eight. The greatest thing about him was that he proved his worth by being an all-around defensive player by posting stats in all the significant categories, as opposed to being a standout in one or two.

[caption id="attachment_323" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="Al Wilson, great sportsman, helps up Tom Brady after sacking him. "][/caption]

As a pass rusher, Wilson averaged around three sacks per season for his career. As a coverage man, when he didn’t get one of his five career interceptions, he averaged 6.8 pass deflections per year. As a playmaker Wilson averaged a forced fumble per season, and as a sure tackler, averaged 70 solos, 19.9 assisted, for a total of 89.9 per campaign.

Aside from his renaissance man-like statistics, Al was one of the more recognizable emotional defensive leaders of the NFL, and will undoubtedly be missed. He was only 31 years old when he suffered his inevitably career-ending injury on December 3rd.

AL WILSON, SPORTSROIDS SALUTES YOU!

That's his shirt that I slept in last night. Well...the lime green version, he wore it on one of our first dates to the club three years ago. I asked him for it last year and he refused, I knew he would never wear that shirt again. I saw it when he was packing on Tuesday and I asked for it again.

LB: Why?

Pepper: For sentimental value.

He gave me his departmental football jersey as well...

His brothers came along for the ride to the airport. It was super quick. Pulled up, hopped out, hugged, zoom zoom.... Didn't wait around or nothing. I thought I was doing pretty well, but once we pulled up to the curb the tears came. I said nothing to him. Just hugged him and got back in the car. The cow-balling not necessary...

I was fighting them back all the way to drop his brothers off. By the time I got back home he had started to complain about the long lines and the apparent delay. It was only a 30 minute delay though (Caribbean Airlines). 8 hours later still no word...

His brother said he called. Weird...why didn't he call me as well? I called his brother this morn for the number he called from. Another staff member answered and gave me his hotel room number because his phone wasnt picking up. Spoke to him for about 5 minutes. He only has one piece of luggage with him (he took 3) and he packed pants seperately from shirts. The hotel isn't the nicest...no cable...no net...when i asked him about the flight he wasn't too pleased either.

I was happy to hear his voice though...miss him already...

source

Thats that scary dracula laugh... you know the one that comes from deep down in the gut somewhere. It goes with the name...GUSTAV...sounds very dracula-ish eh.

Bwoy Gustav come and gone and it wasn't fun. I was supposed to start work at 12 noon on Thursday, but I just knew that by that time they would've started sending people home so I didn't penny it too much...I put on work clothes just in case and proceeded to the bank and then braved the one-hour long supermarket lines. If my cupboard didn't look like ol' mother hubbard's i would not have been staying in that supermarket! Anyway I enjoyed the comfort cookies i picked up...

My roof, in my room no less, has been leaking from ever since and it just got wusera (worst) over this rains. The winds picked up a bit on thursday evening but it was the rain, the rain, the rain. Its like it just wouldnt stop! All now my bed is uncomfortably cotched in the middle of my room, blocking my closet door, until the landlords feel like fixing it. Struups.

It could have been worse though, like that house in the picture above. And that's one of many. Especially the people that could find no where except on gully banks and riversides to perch their houses...they knew it was gonna happen, and it DID. I guess you can't really blame them, where are they to go? The woman on the news who said "everything wash weh, all mi wig dem all mi hair, u nuh see mi naa nuttn pon mi head" now that was hilarious. I can't blame the news people for always bringing those characters on though, they did go up into Beverly Hills and interviewed one lady who said she'll have to get a new generator because the one she had from Hurricane Gilbert (1987) is now dead and the lack of power is most inconvenient. Oh, poor soul.

For me, I was very thankful that power and water stayed with me the entire time. I know I was one of few and am most grateful. It was still extremely boring being marooned at home all that time. sheesh. I should have gone for LB before the storm. I braved the journey with my new lil car in the aftermath on Friday night and made it without much fuss. Oh yeah, remember how i was worried about the camera. He really liked it, he knew it was one of the good ones and was very appreciative AND he gave me a new (to me) gold curve so i was EXTREMELY happy. My old BB, which I got from him also, was one of the big ol' brick ones without a cam so even though this was a used phone, i myself was extremely appreciative.

So...he leaves on Wednesday, his office's send off was postponed to this Tuesday, that should be fun. Then Wednesday *cries* sigh. The beginning of a new era...

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger…
Guys can be stupid sometimes and Little Brother i

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger...

Guys can be stupid sometimes and Little Brother is no exception. When they first moved into the house he'd started a joint checking account at Gold-digger's request so she would be able to take care of paying the bills and things for him. He continued to let her pay the bills even after he'd found out she'd stolen from him and had given her a deadline to get out. I can't imagine why he would trust her to actually take care of those things at that point but he says he just didn't think about it.

Identity theft is everywhere these days and some companies just make it too easy. Gold-digger went online with Little Brother's social security number and one of his old paychecks and got a payday advance loan from Wells Fargo. No proof of identity needed, check mailed right to the house, signature forged and tada you've got yourself some cash. This was several months before we knew about her stealing the other money and before the fake criminal charges. Oddly enough though she was paying back the minimal payment of $20/month until Little Brother was arrested. We found out about this after he moved out and he received a past due notice from Wells Fargo forwarded to my mom's. After a bunch of affidavits and aggravation, he wasn't responsible for the loan and it was taken off his credit report. Unfortunately though, while it's pretty clear it was Gold-digger, she'll never be prosecuted. Wells Fargo said they have tons of these fake loans and the [city redacted] police have tens of thousands of similar complaints.

Gold-digger also went online with Little Brother's Discover Card number and bought a big screen tv. Found out about that one when LB's card was declined at the gas station since the tv had put him over his credit limit. Card canceled new one issued, and yet again Gold-digger gets away with it. The tv wasn't delivered but still, it was ordered to go to her boyfriends, so obviously her!

Ok, whatever, some little petty stuff. Annoying as hell, especially since there were no repercussions for her, but no real damage done. After we found out about the payday loan Little Brother had me run his credit report just to make sure there weren't any other loans like that taken out. Boy were we in for a surprise.

The mortgage hasn't been paid in months. Why would she stop paying the mortgage, she was paying it with his money and the house was in her name too so she'd only be screwing herself. Yeah, well, Gold-digger doesn't think things through like that. She'd stopped paying the mortgage in May- a full two months before we even knew about the other money issues. Instead of paying the mortgage she took the money out and... ? Well I don't know what she did, still don't. The girl baffles me. None of it really makes sense. She also stopped making payments on her car and it was repossessed not long after Little Brother was arrested. Where did all this money go?

Little Brother talked to the mortgage company who told him foreclosure proceedings would be started if payment arrangements weren't made. His criminal case hadn't gone to trial yet so he still had a restraining order barring him from his own home. We consulted a real estate attorney as we were at a loss for what to do. Initially the attorney told us not to worry and it was all fixable. The criminal case was coming up and after that was settled he said we could negotiate with Gold-digger to get her out of the house and sign over any rights to it. As long as we had the necessary funds we could pay off the past-due amounts of the loan in both their names and refinance for a loan in just Little Brother's name. Simply paying it was not a good option because we'd be left with nothing to negotiate with he said. There was no way she could afford to pay the past-due amount and with the impending likelihood of being removed from the house and having her credit ruined she would be more agreeable- or so he thought.

The criminal lawyer was able to get most of the charges dropped since they simply had no merit. The he said-she said aspects of things went forward but Little Brother was acquitted on all charges. Our lawyer tore her apart on the stand and she admitted in open court to lying about that night and stealing money- still stuck with her story of giving it to a friend that had to flee the country though. Gold-digger's line of thinking made no sense but she really believed that by filing false charges she would get my brother jailed and gain sole custody of Brooke. She also thought doing this would allow her to keep the house even though she couldn't afford to pay the mortgage on her own.

After the trial, Gold-digger was extremely angry. We still had no custody agreement and even though Little Brother was found not guilty of all charges we were unable to get the restraining order dropped. Because of that all the contact we were legally allowed was two hours a week on Sunday mornings supervised at the court house. It was awful. Half the time, Gold-digger wouldn't even bring her. The court officers at least documented this though which they said would be helpful when we finally did get in front of a judge for a custody agreement.

In the meantime, we tried to work things out with Gold-digger in terms of the house. The real estate attorney presented her with reasonable offers to vacate the house and sign it over solely to my brother. Not surprisingly though, Gold-digger wasn't being reasonable. She said for $500,000 and signing over all parental rights of Brooke she would leave and sign over the house. Our case must have been quite entertaining for the attorney. The house was worth half that and he'd never had a child as part of a settlement before. Obviously we'd never agree to that. Gold-digger did eventually become more reasonable only asking for $20k but still included Brooke in the equation so it was a no go. We even offered to sign the house over to her but that didn't work either since she couldn't afford the monthly payments much less the back payment.

Finally the real estate attorney said our best bet was to just "sink it." Let the foreclosure happen and move on. Well it's been two years now since the mortgage was last paid but Gold-digger is still living there! Can you imagine? Apparently there are so many foreclosures going on right now that ours is stuck on a waiting list. Little Brother has even tried to move things along and just get the inevitable over with but no go. Makes you want to stop paying your mortgage doesn't it? Well not really, but come on, she's been living there not paying a cent for two years now.

You know as I type that title im reminded of something i saw recently, the urban dictionary definition of the word blog:

1.n.
Short for weblog.
A meandering, blatantly uninteresting online diary that gives the author the illusion that people are interested in their stupid, pathetic life. Consists of such riveting entries as "homework sucks" and "I slept until noon today."

A recent and disturbing trend on the internet. A blog lets people easily post comments onto a webpage. While blogs have many purposes, some of which can be useful, most people seem to use blogs as a way of having an online diary. These people have such massive egos and are so narcissistic that they believe that other people would be interested in reading their pointless ramblings. Even more disturbing is the fact that many people have such boring lives that they have nothing better to do than to read these stupid online diaries. They just feed the egos of the "bloggers" and encourage them to continue posting nonsense. Hopefully, "blogging" will turn out to be just a fad that passes quickly.

Short for weblog. Blogs originally had purpose when the few people who had them actually had interesting and/or informative things to say. These blogs still exist, and are quite enjoyable to read, however the advent of blogger.com and livejournal.com has changed this once meaningful application into utter shit, allowing every day idiots to write about how shitty their lives are and why everyone should care.

OUCH

Anyhoo, i got my car today *huge cheese* but i'm stuck at work. i just wanna go everywhere now...sheesh! Mi get it wid half tank a gas too! bere tings! lol

I want to do a full interior cleaning, because i think that uhm...yeah i jus waah clean it out.

In other good news, I bought a camera as a going away gift for LB today, I pained and toiled over if I should get that particular one though. See, Lb is very fussy, buy the best or nuh badda buy nuttn. Its a very good point-and-shoot cam, but it was used. I'm honestly not sure how that will go down with him. It wouldnt have costed much more to get it new, but with the car purchase you understand how broke i am this month and i really wanted to get it before he left. He recently bought me the 80gig ipod classic, remember, and he made sure it was still in the wrapper and everything....hmmm. I wanted to get the perfect gift as the last few times i botched up the gift giving, and after the ipod which I love so much, i feel bad getting him a second hand cam...but its a VERY good cam...

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger…
The fallout from Gold-digger’s second false

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger...

The fallout from Gold-digger's second false police report really brought me to the edge. Well, it's my blog, guess there's no reason not to be honest on here- I was way over the edge. There's no words to describe the depths of what I fell into and unlike prior times it hit me immediately.

The night Little Brother was arrested I was partying at a friend's house. I'd come off of 3 days straight at the hospital and was running on 2 hours sleep. My phone had two voicemails- first was from Brooke asking me to come and get her with Gold-digger screaming in the background for her to get off the phone, the 2nd was from my mom in a very high pitched voice asking me to call her.

It was an absolute nightmare, I sobered up immediately and went to the police station with my mom. They wouldn't tell us anything and we weren't allowed to see him. He wouldn't be assigned bail until two days later and there really wasn't anything we could do until then. My friend's husband is a shark lawyer. I got him involved and he was full of reassurances. They were stalling on charging him because they wanted to hold him for as long as they could. He figured there might be minimal bail, low 5 figures so it would be good to pull some funds from the bank.

Sitting around, simply waiting, knowing my brother was in jail and there was nothing I could do- not something I took well. The lawyer told us to go home and get some sleep. Sleep was not for me, I stayed awake until he was out- nearly three days. I flittered around the house cleaning everything, pulling things out of drawers and reorganizing. At night Logan tried to get me to at least lay down in bed with him, I tried but I just couldn't sit still.

After awhile everyone's energy levels take a dip. When mine did I still couldn't sleep but decided I'd take a nice hot bath. Logan really is a good guy. In his continuing efforts to take my mind off of things he set up a table tray in the bathroom with my laptop on it and popped in a Sex in the City DVD. And when that one was done he put in another one. Yea, I was in there that long. I don't know how many times I refilled that water but I was in the tub for hours.

When his arraignment hearing came up we were in for another surprise. Despite zero evidence they were still going forward with most of the charges including attempted murder. While Little Brother did get bail, it was higher than we expected requiring another trip to the bank and moving some funds around. It was back to jail in the meantime for Little Brother. There were conditions on his bail too including a restraining order from Gold-digger. The judge said once he was out he could make an appointment with the police and receive a set day and time where he could retrieve his belongings from the house with a police escort.

Not having any of your belongings or a place to live- not fun, but nothing compared to not being allowed to see your own daughter. We're alot closer than most families and Brooke spent a large amount of time with my mother and I. After five years of seeing us practically everyday Brooke couldn't understand abruptly cutting all contact. The few times during this period we did see her are ingrained in me. I can still hear her tears and confusion. Gold-digger would bring her to every court date- even though some of these times she should have been in school, another thing that really pissed me off. The one time she did let Brooke talk to Little Brother and I for a few minutes. It ended with Gold-digger saying "Okay Brooke time to go." and grabbing her by the arm and literaly dragging her off. Brooke was sobbing the whole way screaming "I want to go home with Daddy and Aunt Ally." It broke my heart. I personally would have preferred not seeing her at all just because of how much it was hurting her.

I'm a person whose always valued a good work ethic but at this point that was pretty much out the window. I was scheduled to be at the hospital a few hours after Brooke was dragged away from us in court. I was a wreck, I knew I'd be no good to anyone there. Called a friend and got him to cover my shift for me. I went to my mom's instead and proceeded to drink nearly an entire bottle of Amaretto. Logan came and picked me up a little later. My mom insisted I take the Amaretto with me and who am I to not do as I'm told... Logan suggested going out to the movies. Sounds good to me, can I take the Amaretto with me I asked him. He put what was left of it into a water bottle for me and off we went. I was pretty much drunk off my ass that night but he never minds that. Like I said before, I get horny when I'm drunk so he had fun that night ;)

At this point we thought we knew about all the shit Gold-digger had pulled but turns out there was more...

This weekend I'm scheduled to join the long distance relationship crew. It kinda came up on me without me even realising. We've been spending alot of time together, and then over the weekend he said to me "seven days" i didnt even know that travel arrangements had been made. He tends to think i know everything like that. "I told you i was going to mobay this weekend" sure ya did.

It really hasn't hit me yet that he'll be gone for two years. He hasnt started packing, he hasnt shown me pics of his new place, he barely speaks of it outside of a few jitters and some hickups. Sigh. I'll be missing his birthday in Sept, he'll be missing mine in Nov, hopefully he'll be home for Christmas. I'm looking forward to taking a vacation to visit his new bachelor pad. I'm anxious about him living on his own fir the first time in his life. Will he wild out? Will he throw parties there? Invite chicks to come over? Will he have my picture up on the wall? On the TV? On the dresser? Anywhere?

His office hosts a send off Friday, he's expected to leave on Saturday to begin working on Monday, it all seems so sudden, Like I just heard yesterday and had no time to make prep. There's no time for that final weekend trip to here, or that romantic restaurant evening there. There really wont be any time...but we have been spending an unprecedented amount of time together, so that makes up. At least I should be getting my car tomorrow. And he asked to spend Friday with me :) I'm trying to think how best to plan that day. Just stay in or try to do something out? Maybe the beach? We both love the beach. I am scheduled to work on Friday and Saturday, I WILL be feigning some serious illness if I don't get those days switched! Travelling to that island is expensive, there's no straight flight...i'm in no financial situation to do it more than once. Sucky. Maybe we can meet in Miami. Maybe I can finally change my negative bank account to the positive.

Alot of rambling for alot of unsure-ity...we'll see how it goes.

Everything came out at this point. Li

Continuing Little Brother and Gold-digger's story...

Everything came out at this point. Little Brother, Gold-digger, my mom, and I had it out for hours at the house. When first confronted, Gold-digger stuck with the story of repaying the money saying his former employers came to her and said he would be arrested. She was only looking out for him she insisted with tears in her eyes. Not buying it, Little Brother calls the store and asks them about it. She sat there straightfaced as he was on the phone and even afterwards kept insisting she had given them the money. After awhile, she came up with several other ridiculous stories and finally settled on giving it to a friend who was in an abusive relationship and needed to flee the country. Yes, you heard me right, do you think she was watching Lifetime that day?

She never wavered from that final story, even today insisting it's the truth. A whole lot of other shit came out that day though. Gold-digger just lost it at one point and went into a tirade of all the things she had to do because of us. She admitted she had stolen the bank-drop money, made up the rape, and a whole handful of other things. Somehow though everything she did was our fault. The best one though was how she had to get an abortion a few months prior. This was all Little Brother's fault- if only he'd been sleeping with her, she could have passed the kid off as his but since they hadn't been together in years she was forced to get an abortion. Oh gee, so sorry, you couldn't pass someone else's kid off as my brothers.

At this point, all bets are off. Little Brother tells her she's got 3 months to find a place and move out- and Brooke's staying with him. Gold-digger agreed but I didn't believe a word she said at this point. With a month left for her to leave, Little Brother asked her if she had everything in place to move out. She says she's changed her mind and wants to work things out. Um, way too late. She decided to act like everything was completely fine and normal between them. They got in a fight and he left to cool off.

After he left, Gold-digger calls the police and tells them he raped her, beat her with a gun, threatened to stab her with a knife, choked her till she passed out, threatened to kill her and Brooke, and oh the best- handcuffed her to the bannister on the stairs- with those toy handcuffs that you can unlock yourself. Little Brother calls home to see if she's calmed down and does she want anything from the store. He gets the police telling him if he doesn't come home right then they'll arrest him, he was 10 minutes away and said he would be right there. Gets there and the police arrest him- 8 squad cars were at the house. Gold-digger has Brooke call my mom and tell her "mommy said daddy's gone away forever and now it's just the two of us." Brooke is such a daddy's girl though she whispered to my mom that she wanted to go with daddy, lol. I think even a 5 year old can smell crazy...

I don't know how the police would even believe her or on what grounds they could charge him but they did, despite the fact that she had no bruises, cuts or any injurys whatsoever and refused a rape exam- plus if you remember, this isn't the first time she's cried rape. With all the charges he was facing 147 years in jail...

Continuing the story of Little Brother and Gold-digger, this is the fourth post in this crazy series.

Check out the previous posts if you're joining after the commercial break...

Ok, up to date there? Well onward we go...

Pretty run of the mill relationship issues with the exception of Gold-digger's fake rape claim. There was a quiet kind of peace for awhile but in the back of my mind I was always ready for the worst. I knew when they finally ended their relationship it would be bad but I never imagined just how bad.

I figured Little Brother was still messing around but we didn't really talk too much about it. He said he thought Gold-digger was sleeping with somebody else too, a mechanic at Meineke, and he couldn't care less about it. It had come to the point where they really were only together for Brooke but no one was saying it. Just another elephant in the room. Gold-digger still had this warped sense of entitlement though. Little Brother's car was pretty old at this point and needed a ton of work to pass inspection. He decided to just get a new car instead. Since he did, she did. There was nothing wrong with the car my mom had previously bought for her but it was like tit for tat with her. She went out and traded it in for a brand new Jeep Liberty, not that expensive a car but not one she could afford either.

I don't know what made her go down this road. I guess she'd just had enough.

My brother works as a manager for a few fast-food chain stores. Sometimes he'd take the drop deposits home with him after closing and drop them at the bank in the morning since it wasn't anywhere near his route home. Same as always he dropped them off the one day but the bank called saying the money wasn't in there. Instead the bags were filled with paper, over $4000 was missing. There were no camera at the drop spot inside the bank so we all figured it was a greedy teller. The company he worked for didn't believe he'd taken the money but still thought he should be liable for it and wanted him to pay back the $4k. He refused, they fired him.

Did you figure out where the money went? If you guessed Gold-digger, you're right. She switched the bags and took the cash. Looking back, we were fucking morons to not see what was going on. But she'd been in our lives for over five years at this point and while I didn't always see eye to eye with her, she'd never shown any indication of pulling shit like this.

Gold-digger hit my mom and I up for cash to help her out with bills. Ok, of course we'll help, Little Brother's out of work, obviously cash is tight. Then she calls my mom at work in a panic saying Little Brother is at his old store and they're going to have him arrested if he doesn't pay the money back with interest that day. Obvious bullshit story and if she tried to feed me that one it wouldn't have worked. From talking with my brother it was already clear his former employer wasn't pressing any kind of charges; they didn't think he'd stolen the money. But my mom bought it, she left work, got $6k cash from the bank and drove to give it to Gold-digger. My mom wanted to go in and see Little Brother but Gold-digger said he was too embarrassed to see her and wasn't ready to talk about it.

A couple of weeks later, Gold-digger goes to my mom with a $7k bill from Mieneke for car repairs- on her brand new car. At least my mom didn't give her money for that one. She told Gold-digger to go back to the dealership- you got a lemon. It's at this point my mom talks to my brother about the $6k she'd given Gold-digger, asks him if everything's ok with his former employer now. Little Brother had no clue what she was talking about.

That's when the shit hit the fan...
