We received this account recently and wanted to share it and encourage others to maybe share their unusual UFO dreams.

Hi-I just wanted to thank you for the "Best Ever UFO Sightings" videos. Very fascinating! I am pretty much a "until I see it with my own eyes" kind of person, hardocre sceptic,so I tend to take these with a grain of salt. I must admit though there was some compelling evidence that has caused me to think twice.

I also wanted to share a dream I had recently with everyone. I had this probably a couple of months after you posted the videos. It was not very long and I can still remember most of it with amazing clarity.

I was talking with a very close friend in an unfamliar apartment with a balcony. We were in the living room and the balcony was open. There was also a radio on and I was listening to my friend and simultaneuosly listening to the radio as well. Right before my friend and I decide to go out onto the balcony (which was left open-sliding glass door),An announcement came on the radio about something happening in Russia,like an attack. It caught my attention and I remember in the dream thinking for a moment if we might be going into a war with them. A few seconds passed and my friend fell over the balcony. I shouted for him, but then this unexplainable fear came over me. I decided to go back into the living room but left the balcony door open. I could sense someone approaching and hid around a wall but peered around the corner. The fear in me gradually became more intense and I could see what appeared to be 2 humans coming in very slowly from the balcony. I was scared they could see me, but their focus of sight was just to look straight ahead as they were coming in. I did manage to see one of the beings eyes and was shocked to see that they looked somewhat reptilian to me, like tiny lightning bolts. I also noticed that his/it's lips were very "fishlike", almost rubbery. Aside from these traits though,they appeared human. But I also remember The hair as looking like doll's hair,not really real, as it had been applied on and the face was very rigid,almost plastic like it was positioned in one expression-very blanklike. All of their movements seemed deliberately very slow, like they came in to find something and then all of a sudden the one whose eyes I had seen from a profile kind of position started to turn his head very slowly in my direction as if he sensed I was watching him and this is when I woke up. I believe I may have made myself somehow wake up because I was so frightened.

I have had several UFO themed dreams the last 2 or 3 years or so. I never really used to have them that I can remember. The common factor in most of them is the unusual clarity they are presented in. I even sometimes wake up wondering if I am still in the dream because they are that vivid. I have never had any other kind of dream that had been that vivid. This is not to say that I have not had vivid dreams before, but I read about something where when you go into a level 2 while in REM, you can experience something like you are in another reality. It seemed to be something like this. I mean, this is 1/2 a year later and I can still remember it like it just happened.

Anyways, just wanted to share that and see if there was anyone else who had a similiar experience. As I mentioned earlier I am a skeptic,so I am more or less deducing it was my imagination. The puzzling thing though is that I did not see any programs or had any UFO thoughts or anything like that for a long time before that or even had something to eat right before going to bed. It's as if it just popped into my head. And the description I mentioned. Maybe the eyes seemed like something I may have seen before. But a plastic or wax-like human face that appeared applied over some other "face",and the doll-like hair? Very bizarre.

Anytime I lose something that is meaningful to me, I always make an announcement to the All that the thing belongs to me, is imbued with my energy, and therefore has to come back to me. I know that sounds nuts, but it works every time. In this case, though, the ring stayed gone, and as months passed I actually forgot about it. Now here's the woo-woo part: this afternoon I noticed a white something on my living room floor. Not in an out-of-the-way spot or a corner, but right where people walk and the vacuum rolls, where things are obvious. You already know what it was, don't you? Yep, it was my ivory ring. Right there in the middle of the floor, all by itself.

There is no logical explanation for how that ring got there, but there it was. It wasn't dirty or scratched, but looked exactly the way it always looked. I put it back where it had always lived, and I didn't even try to imagine what forces had conspired to take it and return it. I don't know if there's some hidden meaning in the whole thing. It's just another one of those things that everybody in the world experiences now and then, the kind of thing that makes us realize that our level of understanding of life's mysteries is probably less than that of a small ant.

Starting with the first book first, In The Woods is a thriller set in Ireland that deals with two crimes involving children that happen approximately 20 years apart. I can honestly say that it was the most enthralling book that I have read in a long time. Not necessarily the best book, although it was really good, but a book that I didn't want to put down.  I actually had the thought when I was reading it, that I wished I could call in sick, just so I could finish the book. If you like thrillers (or even if you don't - Jami is not a big mystery reader and she is having a similar addiction to In The Woods at the moment), I really recommend this one. French has a new book out (The Likeness) with some of the same characters, and I am really looking forward to reading that one as well.

The second book that I read is The Maytrees by Annie Dillard. It was beautifully written, really and truly. It fit in with my recent reading of New England authors. And I just didn't like it that much. I'm happy I read it, and it made me want to read more of Dillard's writing, but I just felt somehow distant from the whole story. Still Dillard is a great writer and so I'll give her another try.

That's all I've read in August so far, which is shocking to me, seeing as the month is almost over! We'll see if I get through at least one more before the month ends.

Generally, people today seems to be extreme when it comes to looks and their image of themselves about their looks. Either you love yourself, watching yourself in the mirror, taking photographs of yourself, for yourself, even posing. This does not apply to those who every once in awhile take a photo of themselves or check in the mirror for pimple popping up but rather for those that do it almost every single day. It's not unusual for these people to even upload a full album online solely filled with portraits of themselves. So, either you love yourself or you hate yourself. And if you hate yourself and your appearance by expressing youself in a very emotional way so that you can make sure everyone knows how sad you are and how much people should pity you which in a way leads to a sort of narcissism as well; attention seeking.

(No structure to this text, I know, I'm too lazy to rewrite). My point is, why are people, seemingly, getting more and more narcissistic and by that also, potentially, more egoistic by the day? Is this in our culture, what makes it so? A true mystery to solve.

There is just something about this time of year, when the ghosts of past Autumns and the Autumn to come chase away the dog days of summer, that entices one to read books that fit into the above categories.

It was a desire share the love of eerie, creepy, things-that-go-bump-in-the-night literature that brought me into the online reading challenge game for the first time back in September of 2006. My goals today, in this its third iteration, are no different than the inaugural R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril Challenge:

1. Have fun reading.
2. Share that fun with others.

It is that simple. Read on.

I'm jumping in for  Four Books of any length from any spooky genre of your choosing, between  Sept 1 and October 31st.

As everyone knew, less 70% power requirements suggested better ability to keep shields up. So there was the lovely Don't-Probe-Me-Or-Else-You-Will-Lose-Many-Probes aura too. Perfect for school days, of course.

Fusion tech was also ready in newbie mode. Which meant that one could raze something like 29 (?!) powerplants and still have more than enough to survive. Good stuff. Oh, oh, oh, and then there was in later versions the capacity to store 3000 power in one plant while everyone else had to make do with 1000. Not to mention that that has gone up to 7500 now. Another huge plus for extended periods of inactivity.

less population? Apart from the fact that I never liked people anyway, this also made it possible to constantly train max soldiers without bothering to check pop size much. Just max each time. Nevermind the lesser income.

Yes, Volcanic Inferno was always my best planet type.
