…and yes, you read that right. “Supper Car” Club.
Why “supper”? Simply

...and yes, you read that right. "Supper Car" Club.

Why "supper"? Simply put, supper is the term usually used by my kids when refering to dinner-time here, and weekday dinners (or "supper") are usually nothing over-the-top or spectacular, just a fill-you-up on good food moment in the day. A necessary part of the day, without a lot of fluff. Kind of fitting as you'll see when we get to the cars that would be in this club.

I had stumbled across the supercar club idea back in 2000, and thought "novel idea"... but then dismissed it, and went back at my day job. This past week, the thought popped back in my head while parking at the Post Office to ship out some designs, and I parked next to a perfectly preserved Gremlin. (I know!! Bitchin'!!) How long has it been since you've seen one of those? Apparently, the three other folks checking it out had the same thought. (note to the owner of said ride: What I wrote on my card is serious. I want your car.)

If you're into exotics, you no doubt know of organizations like Group 20's incredible Super Car Club, or P1 Prestige and Performance Car Club, or a few others. The basic idea is a shared-access plan, wherein members have access to a number of exotics and luxury cars for about the same cost as owning ONE. Pretty slick, and not unlike shared-access plans for yachts, jets, beach mansions, islands and so-on. So, for like $30k per year, plus a $5-10k membership fee, you're driving a number of cool cars throughout the year, insurance included. Nifty if you're of the persuasion that can afford it. Me? Nope. I fall more in line with my nifty idea: The Supper Car Club.

Regular folks cruising regular (and occasionally rare!) cars. We'll round up a group of investors, and purchase a fleet of hand-picked, basic transportation cars from the past and present (if you can get 'em from the future, well, we'd like a word with you, too!). We'll set up a membership fee based on the value of the cars, say $75.00 to join, plus like $300.00/year, and base it all on a points system, allowing everyone access to the cars. You may buy extra points, or trade points for allowing off-use days for cars, etc. Naturally, cruising the Cavalier rag top in June would be double he points of the Cimmaron with the broken A/C, but hey, this is about exclusivity.

I can hear it now-- "Why would anyone want to drive a car like a Citation, or a Fairmont sedan, or an '80 El Camino with a broken tailgate?" NOSTALGIA. Unless you were some spoiled brat as a teenager, chances are that through college (or beyond if you draw cars for a living and have kids), you've driven some questionable-looking, as well as performing cars. And what always comes up in converations about those times past (or present... it happens)? "Man, I hated that car, but I miss it!" Admit it. That '79 Delta 88 with the door skins flapping in the breeze was pretty cool. You had FUN with it. I sure as hell did. And my friends still remember that car... even the ones I bump into so many years later... And think about it: If you're into cars like I am, you check everyhing out. Like the afforementioned Gremlin. I was drawn to that like flies on... oh wait, bad comparison... but you get the idea. A car that hits home will draw as much, if not more attention than some exotic ride. (consider Playboy's Farmer's Daughters specials--- I read it for the article on cobbler -- was that a fluke? The girl next-door is always more approachable, and often more realistic. I bet they sold millions. Cars are the same way, I've found.)

Admit it: You had this poster right next to that one with the white Lamborghini.

We'll offer typical high school and college-year cars, and even a few hot rod-style versions... Maybe '78 Malibu with a severe rake, N-50's and Jensen 6x9's on the package tray, or even a hand-me-down LTD in powder blue... The kind of stuff you had back then. Imagine pulling up to your reunion in a Camaro with a dented fender, a Moroso decal and sheepskin seat covers, just like you had back in school? Talk about keeping it real. No rental Caddy for you. Just bringing back memories, much like your mullet and parachute pants. And for those who were in all of the musicals, or had weird parents, we'll round up some used Volvos, VW's, and the cream of the crop:

...it's tres chic

(I'm showing the smaller cars so that we get the "green" folks on board. Fret not, my fellow size 34 EEE carbon-footprint friend, I'll be battling you for points on the Granada with the bad valve seals and cracked rings. We'll have a little something for everyone. AMC Eagle? We'll have THREE.) All told, I think that once the trendies see Justin Timberlake pull up at the ESPY's in the Monaco with the Keystone mags, bad paint and bubbling tint on the windows, this club will be hotter than some crystal and gold-leaf decoupaged Von Dutch hat in an LA boutique after seeing it on a video awards show. If you're in, hit me up... This will be huge, and a total blast. I have a line already on a Volare' wagon and a cherry Grand Prix...

Action Planning is one of the most intricate

Jeffrey Gitomer's fun video of networking basics

Action Planning is one of the most intricate and important parts of creating a new life or career. Without a plan to drive your efforts, your attempts to change your life are much more difficult to achieve. Make no mistake about the fact that in order to succeed in any transition you must first be responsible for laying the foundation: planning.

In Susan Hanshaw’s book Inner Architect: How To Build The Life You Were Designed To Live”, Phase 4 Creating Your Plan the best tool to get started is Step 15 “Outline Your Training Process.”

Marketing Through Networking

One of the fastest and most effective methods to begin meeting people in the niche you wish to build your new career or life is via real world networking events and meetings

Webgrrls International

A great example of outlining your training process can be found at the networking group Webgrrls.com. Webgrrls provides meetings and events with the following benefits:

1. Networking: you meet people in your niche
2. Introductions: you give your 1 minute “elevator” pitch a mini marketing message business plan
3. Practice: you hone your public speaking skills by participating
4. Support: members support each other’s goals and help bring ideas forward
5. Synergy: many members have synergy within their action plans and training plans

5 Steps For Identifying Your Training Process

In Susan Hanshaw’s exercise you are given a practical method of evaluating your training process:

1. Get Clarity: Define details of your service or product, develop a profile of your job description, and list your job duties
2. Identify Areas for Development: review your job duties and list specific areas for development
3. Research: find training opportunities, options for training and learning, don’t limit your path to education
4. Buy In: Choose training programs that resonate with you, that excite you, and commit your efforts 100% to that program(s)
5. Complete Training and Credentials: realize your training will require concentration and sacrifice. Focus on the rewards of training rather than your sacrifices

OVER ALT!

I constantly hear Hannity or Dick Morris say that Obama will raise your taxes. This isn't new, in fact every republican since i can remember says that. In fact i remember back in 2006, Hannity repeatedly say, before during and after that if you elect democrats they will raise your taxes.

How true is it?

Depends on who you are.

The fact is that obama's tax plan will benifit at least 95% of the population. and while its true that McCain will drop everyone's taxes, it gives the most to the top 20%, and less to everyone else than obama's would.

Whenever you hear about Obama raising taxes, realize it probably wont affect you unless you make more than $250,000 ($500,000 for couples)

You can read a comparison on McCain's and Obama's tax plans here:

As well as a debunking of smears on Obama's Tax plan from FactCheck.org, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, voter advocacy group here:

Agur.

I’m a simple business owner–nothing fancy here. I own a small card and gift shop in a

I'm a simple business owner--nothing fancy here. I own a small card and gift shop in a small Florida town in a decent sized strip center near the heart of town. It's a great location, near the tourist areas, decent anchor stores. It's even a half-price card shop, so folks are getting a bargain in this market, which everyone is looking for. I have cut margin to the barest in an effort (perhaps a misspent effort) to provide my customers a good deal and viable options in todays killer economy while still trying to cover my own expenses. But I'm thinking about ending it all.

This store has been around awhile. It has serviced the people of this community well for nearly 20 years and is the only one of its' kind in the county. Many of our customers are on a fixed income and live in the more settled area of town. The demographics are changing though, with more younger people moving in as the older folks move back to whereever it was that they came in order to spend their last time with family. Many didn't go north this year due to the gas prices and many more are losing their homes and jobs and just trying to survive.

I am my only employee, except for my mother and husband who volunteer and help me out during emergencies, but it's a 6-day-a-week thing for me. I feel as if I live here, and that everything else in my life is on hold. I have no insurance but what my spouse's job provides, and during the summer months when many of my customers have gone north, it can be a real nail-biter if I don't budget excruciatingly close.

I am far from alone. Many smaller businesses are hanging on just trying to get through the next few months, keep the lights on, the doors open for business. After all, many of the economists insist that our country has already turned the corner and hit its low. Pessimistically, I think not. Did I mention I've also worked in the petroleum, real estate and mortgage markets? The writing is on the wall and "bear" is a tough term for many of us to imagine. Bull, you say?

Recovery will be a long process, and I'm sad to think I might not be serving my customers for much longer, even though I've planned and budgeted for bad times. I can make it through but I can't make extra money for my own everyday expenses. I didn't get into the business so I would be poor or to make my own family suffer. I know there are no easy answers, but few customers in this neck of the woods want to spend on what they perceive is a luxury. Still, a card is minimalistic. It's the gift margins that kill. And everyone has an opinion on it all. If I mark something up, I lose one segment of customer. If I mark something down, I lose another. The mix is confusing even on the best of days. Consignment margins are even tighter and although it means no direct overhead until a sale is completed, the product does take room that could be allocated to something with a better margin -- if I could afford it.

I concentrated on keeping a specific price point after I took over the store, owing in part to the demographics. I cut back on buying from some vendors, opting instead to ebay after verifying costs per piece (yes, I figured shipping into the cost) and asking myself: Is it something I would buy NOW for someone I care about for their special occasion? I also want a quality product - who wants junk that will break in a days' time? I have a fairly mainstream attitude, so am not purchasing knee-jerk products, or things that won't have appeal to my demo's. They just flat aren't buying! Costs are up, sales are down. A saving grace for me are credit card purchases, which the previous owner did not have, and which has increased my average sale per customer. I've lost 200 customers comparing last May to this May, and another 200 for this June; again comparing against last June. It's a good thing the average sale-per-customer is up!

I'm personable, honest, hard-working. People say they like me. Customers tell me how great the store is, how nice it looks, how much BETTER since I've taken it over. I work with my customers to answer their needs. I don't give stock away, rarely do I use it for my self or family - and when I do, I'm careful to account for the stock removal and cost factors.

It honestly IS this dreary.

So, it raises many questions in my mind. Do I try to sell out and save my skin, or do I stick with it because the trend, according to the economists, is that we are turning the corner -- and hope to hell it turns fast, before my wallet experiences that huge sucking sound caused by finance charges to prepurchased inventory and further dismal sales?

I am hurt in many ways, not just in my store. I commute a half an hour each way, which significantly increases my gas expenditures. We haven't purchased a home yet and at almost 50 years of age, are living with my parents to help all of us out. Utilities have gone up for me also in the store. The landlord punched up the rent when I resigned the lease, although I did negotiate a smaller increase than he wanted (yay me!).

Customers, in general, are angry. They've gone to the grocer, and overspent. Same at the gas station and at home on their utilities. They still want some luxuries like their cell phones and HD/cable tv, but that's an everyday expense now and it's figured into the budget. They aren't buying a card (printed in China) for their cousins or nieces or nephews or even friends as much as they were. They don't want gifts from China, but they don't want to pay for something "Made In America" or even made in their community. And on they complain. "It's the war." "It's the President's fault." Even, "It's your OWN fault."

Big business is not willing to lower their costs: they might antagonize their shareholders! And so the little guy dies a little more each day. Mom and Pop stores will crop up, and then close. And crop up again, and close again. A few, very few select, will succeed in bridging the gap without selling their souls.

Frankly, I don't want to close or sell. And I certainly don't want to sell my soul to anyone or anything just to succeed. I like it just the way it is! Perhaps there is a business person out there with morals who can give a little guidance to a small chip like me so I can weather this front and see my way to the other side of the current depression. (There, I've said it!) Advertising? I've done what I can and I work as many of the free-ad angles as I can. Suggestions are certainly welcome!

In the meantime, I'm putting together the P&L and talking to a broker.

Yo, Sup?

Today I want to address the topic of Planning.

Lately I got so over whelmed, because I had so many things to do concerning my growing business and my personal life, that as funny as it may be I got scared and confused. I thought to myself “How in the blue hell am I going to accomplish all of this in the next couple of days?”

So I thought to myself, what can I do to make it more peaceful, up there, in my head.

So I sit down and made myself a plan. As simple as it may sound, I just sit down, got my notebook that I carry with me everywhere I go, and simply wrote down the things I needed to do.

So it kind of looked something like this:

1. Explore traffic geyzer

2. Go through emails

3. blab blab la…

And somehow it made me more relaxed and clear about how am I going to do all of those things.

When you make a plan for yourself, it doesn’t have to be a long term plan, but it really helps organize your thoughts and worries. Face it, our lives are constantly filled with tasks, goals and things to do, so when you organize them properly it really helps.

So from now on, I suggest you start being more organized and clear about your tasks and goals concerning upcoming days and weeks, it will really make your life a whole lot easier.

So there you go, have fun!

Babye!

One of the most intricate and important parts of creating your new life or career is producing an action plan. In Susan Hanshaw's Inner Architect: How To Build The Life You Were Designed To Live", Phase 4 Creating Your Plan contains the tools to begin the process. The best tool to get started is Step 15 "Outline Your Training Process."

2. Introductions: you give your 1 minute "elevator" pitch a mini marketing message business plan
3. Practice: you hone your public speaking skills by participating
4. Support: members support each other's goals and help bring ideas forward
5. Synergy: many members have synergy within their action plans and training plans

5 Steps For Identifying Your Training Process

In Susan Hanshaw's exercise you are given a practical method of evaluating your training process:

1. Get Clarity: Define details of your service or product, develop a profile of your job description, and list your job duties
2. Identify Areas for Development: review your job duties and list specific areas for development
3. Research: find training opportunities, options for training and learning, don't limit your path to education
4. Buy In: Choose training programs that resonate with you, that excite you, and commit your efforts 100% to that program(s)
5. Complete Training and Credentials: realize your training will require concentration and sacrifice. Focus on the rewards of training rather than your sacrifices

I mina öron.

ONE: Describe a project or activity that you have worked on that was outside your comfort zone. Why

ONE: Describe a project or activity that you have worked on that was outside your comfort zone. Why was it uncomfortable? How did you adapt? Were you glad you took on the project or activity? Would you do it again?

While studying at the University of California at Santa Cruz, I worked on a project called Iron Video Challenge (previously "Iron VideoMaker"), which took me out of my comfort zone. The independent study project was inspired by my interest in how constraints and play can foster experimentation with video. Within the time-span of one academic term, I tried to achieve the following goals:

* to encourage people to produce digital video work
* to force people to act on their feet by producing work in 48 hours or less
* to inspire play and risk taking through the implementation of constraints and deadlines
* to create a relatively well-known website that would solicit the participation of my classmates, as well as strangers online
* to use to the Internet as a platform for interaction and information distribution

The project became uncomfortable because once I considered my goals, I realized that I would need to build something that I didn't have the tools for. The skills I would need to acquire to complete the project appeared to be both time consuming and hard to understand. I had to learn about programming and databases and decide how to best distribute and collect the information I was interested in working with. Since this was unfamiliar territory, I had to adapt by finding information that could help me learn about these systems. I decided to learn some of the programming language PERL to build my web page. I had to ask for consultation from a programming student, and learned about how to extract different kinds of information in one area and then plug it into new places.

I was glad I took on this project because it laid the groundwork for me to think in different ways. It made me think about how web pages are arranged to evoke different responses from visitors and encourage participation. It also made me think about the architecture of information and how as a designer of that space, I could choose how to guide people to different things. It was exciting to see the range of results. I learned that if I plan it, I can pretty much do anything. I inspired myself by working through these challenges and now feel even more confident when working on projects that depend on stepping out of my comfort zone and learning something new. I would most definitely work on a project like this again.

I think projects that take me out of my comfort zone are projects that force me to grow and work under constraints that I am not acquainted with. Usually, I force myself into these situations, so I am not sure if I would categorize them as uncomfortable. I enjoy challenges, and think that life-long learning and stepping out of "comfort zones" is a necessary part of improving myself and the world around me.

TWO: If you were going to design a new house, what are the key elements that you would consider? Why?

The key elements of my new house would depend most on who would be living in it.

I would firstly make sure the house considered Universal Design, so that as many people as possible, with their varying abilities, could enjoy it.

In addition to the architecture, interior design elements such as paint colors, textures, and furniture arrangements, would influence how inhabitants experience the space, so I would consider those as well.

The structural integrity of the house, how it would stand up to the elements as well as natural disasters (such as earthquakes), is something I would prioritize so that it would protect its inhabitants and stay strong over time.

I would consider how to best use renewable energy forms and build the house with as much reused material as possible in order to enhance sustainability.

Depending on the nature of the architecture, there would be deferred maintenance issues that come up over time, such as needing to repaint or cleaning the heating vents. In designing the house, I would consider how to build better systems to perhaps replace heating ducts, therefore eliminating their need to be cleaned. If the aesthetic appeal of wood shingles really made sense and was cost effective, I would consider what new technologies might mimic this look, while staying within my budget and preventing future maintenance expenditures.

In designing this new house, I would consider how people's lifestyles, technology, available resources, and other external factors such as climate might shift over time and would create a house that had built in tools to adapt to these changes.

I would say that location is a most important consideration for the architect designing the house. When thinking about a house, or a library, as a destination, I would think about how the location should influence the architecture. If the house is to be built in a noisy area, there should be appropriate sound proofing designs if the inhabitants do not want to hear the noise from the outside. Or, if it is by the beach and the inhabitants enjoy looking at the ocean, then I would make sure to put windows facing towards the water. I would design the house to exploit and work with the strengths of the location. By designing south-facing windows, the house could be naturally warmed during the day.

THREE: What concerns about the future of libraries keep you up at night? Why?

I work with young people who are growing up using technology like computers and the Internet to assist them with school reports. I worry about their relationships to well-known web resources such as Google, Ask, and Wikipedia. Often the databases we have in our library are underutilized and patron training in how these databases work is limited. While someone might find well-rounded and credible information on a person they are researching through a database like Biography Online efficiently, I worry they may instead spend more time following link after link from their Google search, only to end up with a mediocre result.

I worry that the public image of the library as a useful or necessary resource is declining as people think they can access anything they want online. I worry that their misunderstanding of the ways in which the library operates will keep them from using it. And often, it only takes one misunderstanding to lead a library user out the door. I worry that the reliance on private systems of information distribution will eventually lead to influencing the ways in which people think, and the things people think they want, being led by the groups with the most amount of money.

I worry that people will have a need that the library can fulfill, but they will not be aware of this and their need will go unmet. Or, they will know that the library can help, but maybe the library doesn't accommodate their needs in some way, such as not being open during a person's free time or not having information available in an accessible format. I worry that varied communities will not be able to access the information in the format or on the terms that the library has established.

I worry that the ways in which libraries do outreach and advertise their vast resources are ineffective in reaching communities who would benefit from library tools the most. I also worry that the consistent library users will miss out on things that might interest them because they are using the library within limited pathways. As such, they will not know the other things around them exist, even if they are within the library user's established interest groups.

FOUR: What is the one 21st Century tool you cannot live without? Why?

I could not live without the benefits that Web 2.0 has brought to the Internet for many reasons. It helps me stay in touch but on my own terms. Sometimes I only find out about local music shows if I am hanging around local musicians, when I am busy and not in that scene, I might miss out. Now, if someone I know, or even a stranger (who's music I know I enjoy), is a "friend" of mine on a site like MySpace, I can find out about their next show via bulletins they may post or by a calendar they may choose to update. I can also sample music unknown to me for free by visiting different music profiles. If I choose to look at who my friends are friends with, I can begin to explore music and other organizations within their network, with some degree of trust that I will enjoy also appreciate these groups.

I could also not live without Web 2.0 for the reasons of folksonomy. I love exploring people's del.icio.us bookmarks to see the other interests of people who have tagged the same things (interests) as me. It leads me to discover new websites, which can lead to all sorts of new discoveries. I have yet to master search terms like "cookery" when searching for cook books while working at the library, and doubt that many of the library users have this awareness. When using sites like del.ico.us, the ability to tag information with my own language that makes sense to me and suites my needs seems revolutionary.

The potential to combine other Web 2.0 innovations like Twitter and Jott, also allows me to connect with people with access to a range of technologies. Non-Internet users can follow a Twitter feed of mine using Jott and their telephone to stay updated. And by using their phone and Jott, they can create content to be added to a Twitter feed.

In considering my answer this question, I was inspired by Geoff Hing and his presentation at the 2008 Allied Media Conference. His Web 2.0 resources tagged for the conference on del.icio.us led me to this insightful article.

John Daly has long been one of the most talented players on the PGA tour. His accomplishments include being named Rookie of the Year in 1991, winner of the coveted PGA Championship in 1991, and he became the British Open Champion in 1995-his second "Major" title of his career. Along the way John has won a total of 18 Tournaments, 11 Long Drive Contest Titles, and is 84th on the All Time PGA Tour Career Money list accumulating $9,082,342 in winnings.

What's Not To Love?

John Daly appeals to the "every man" and regular guy. He is not a country club born and bred golfer coddled and nurtured amongst the life of the elite. He does not dress the part nor embrace the part of celebrity athlete. Instead John Daly is a genuine good hearted country boy born in Carmichael, California and raised in Dardanelle, Arkansas. His "rough and tumble" lifestyle, honest self assessment, and ongoing personal battles makes him a touchable and authentic star in a world of eccentric, ego maniacal sociopath-like personalities

Train Wreck or Car Accident?

Since the mid 1990's John Daly has been living life by the seat of his pants, uncontrollably drinking, partying, and becoming the biggest obstacle in his life. One need only to look at his behavior to wonder is this man an utter train wreck or a major (but fixable) car accident? He has lived through:

1. Claims to have had a habit of drinking a fifth of Jack Daniels whiskey a day at age 23
2. Tossed off a British Airways flight for drunken and disorderly conduct
3. Divorced three times after becoming a tour professional
4. 3 visits to rehab centers including Betty Ford Clinic more to come?

Battle Rages On

John's continued alcoholism and general abuse continued this week with a new controversy-a public spat with his former swing coach, well respected and superstar coach, Butch Harmon. Harmon "fired" Daly four months ago because Daly could "not clean up his act and show he was rededicated to the game of golf."

"What Lies Between You And Change"

"I think it's another case of John never wanting to look in the mirror and ake responsibility for his actions. He's always looking to blame someone else. . . Until he can blame himself for his shortcomings, he's always going to have a problem" Butch Harmon to San Francisco Chronicle July 17, 2008

What Can He Do For Himself?

John Daly would greatly benefit from Step #8 of Phase 3 "Define What Lies Between You and Change" in Susan Hanshaw's "Inner Architect: How To Build The Life You Were Designed To Live" Common Types of Obstacles to Change:

1. Fears- The "hidden" pressures a public life places on a famous person may not be available for us to understand. Daly's own fears may remain within himself yet manifest outwardly through erratic and self destructive behaviors and actions

2. Limited Beliefs- Hanshaw defines this as "What you think you are capable of achieving or becoming" and for Daly this could be a mantra. His own past bad experiences become the deterrent to changing his alcoholic destructive ways, obese eating habits, and horrific public behaviors. He doesn't believe he deserves any better therefore he becomes his belief system-as do we all!

3. Lack of Commitment- As Butch Harmon's quote so sadly yet accurately states, John is not taking responsibility for himself, respecting himself, or dedicating himself to the work involved in the necessary steps to changing his beliefs, behaviors, and ultimately his results

I'm sure most of you thought that I may have gone. The truth is I almost did. Over the last month I've faced a few issues. Uselessness. That sums up what I've felt. In 2004 I graduated college with my B.S. in Physics. From there I had been presented with the opportunity to work on a Ph.D. at Georgiah Tech. Long story short; I was too lazy to follow through with my end and missed the window.

Fast-forward:

I'm 26 now and as far as the "life clock" is concerned; I'm behind. Most folks are married, have a carrier, own a home, or some combination of these by the time they are my age. I, on the other hand, work a part time job, still attend school, and am very single.

It's scary. The incertainty of my life the foggyness that has a tendancy to follow me. I live a boring life, however, I suppose there is a rather peculiar adventure that follows me. The foggyness built up to a point that I decided that the best option for me was to run. I decided I would move to Raleigh and find a job. That seems to be my solution for a lot of things. I ran from Georgia; I've ran from alot of other things too. Then came John's sermon Sunday. It hit me right. I'm done running.

Who knows what the future holds for me......I'm not gonna worry about it....I'm going to be fine....

Well I'm feelin like things are moving on now - finally! I have been really focussed on making a new life for myself. I have been working very long hours for a very long time but now I think I'm getting somewhere with all of this : ) As you know the plan is to make some proper money and pay for my racing, to trade full time and make money online. I know I can make good money from trading the Forex - hence being really focussed on writing the ebook and finishing the project. But its nearly there - I have just secured my first affiliate based on the ebook, my knowledge of Forex trading and my racing career the fact that I have followed my heart and am making my dreams come true (thats way too cheesy!!!!!). Its great to have the things I enjoy and new challenges surrounding me. I have the ability to work hard I know I can use this to make things happen for me.

I have met a few people who are interested in learning about how to trade and invest their money and this is why I have registered www.trade-from-home.com aswell as www.forex-intro.com Ebook Money For You has been written for both markets as an introduction to this traded market. By reading this ebook you can also learn Forex trading and how it differs from other traded markets. Honestly it isn't full of jargon but is easy to read, designed by a great graphic designer and has some fundamental points to raise regarding any financial traded market.

Take a look and see for yourselves!!!! : )

I need You to pick up all the loose ends

in my life and make something beautiful from them.

I need You to be my Guide through this journey called life.

Shoe me Your plan for my time upon this earth.

I need You to transform me from the inside out.

Basically, I need You to constantly work in and through me

because without You I am nothing.

Preliminaries Performed? Proceed to Progress thru The Four "P"s, Part One

After choosing the correct vehicle for you journey to success,
Network Marketing.

And joining the right
Company, for you, which has the
mentors and training
to guide you,

it is now time to Proceed to progress. I follow a little formula called the
four "P"s:

Purpose

Plan

People

Personal Development.

These four ingredients will propel you forward in your business.

PURPOSE:

     Your purpose is the reason
you are starting your business. So of course the answer to that is to
make money, right?

Well in order to keep you focused and working on your business your purpose
needs to be more defined than that!

Ask yourself ; Why do I want the money? Most people don't really want the
money itself, but rather what the money can do for them!

Is it A Vacation, A New
Car, To Pay Off Debt, Send your Kids to College,
Retirement Savings, or even to
quit your JOB (which usually just
means TIME FREEDOM)?

Whatever it is that motivates YOU! These are GOALS.

In order to be effective they should be:

clear and concise

written down

have an accomplishment date for them

The more defined your goals, the easier it is to accomplish them. You know
where you are trying to go and will be able to get there.

Set short, medium. and long term goals. If this is your first attempt at
setting goals, you may want to start with daily and weekly goals.

Make your first goal achievable, once it is
reached, you will feel a sense of accomplishment, and be encouraged to
continue. As you progress you can expand your goals and make them
more challenging.

Long term goals are where you want to THINK BIG
and DREAM. *(A precaution here, some people have
quit dreaming, and do not know how to do it anymore, don't let this happen to
you. Set aside time to

cultivate this, and keep practicing until you CAN
dream again!) Develop what Robert Allen (author of Multiple Streams
of Internet Income) calls a "Vivid Vision" ~
Visualize in vivid detail, using all of your senses

(seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and smelling) how your life will be, long
term, say five years from now.

Development of this Goal or vivid vision can keep you on track and
moving forward in your business even when you hit the inevitable 'bump in the
road' ( or HUGE sink hole!).

PLAN

How will you reach these goals? You need to make a
plan, in Network Marketing your
upline should be able to help you with this, but sometimes they just joined the
day before you, what do they know?

This is why I recommended finding a Mentor who has already accomplished (at
least some) of what you want to accomplish. Or better yet a whole
TEAM who have done it! A team gives the benefit of having

several people to help, and often slightly different approaches, one is sure
to fit your style! Your plan should consist of a series of Action Steps, you
follow to build your business. At minimum it should contain:

Exposure; How many people, on a
weekly basis, will you introduce to your product or Company? And how do
you find these people, friends and family? Call or e-mail people you go out
and meet? Call people from a lead list? Build your own list and call them?
Benefit of the right
TEAM, they can provide you leads to contact!

Follow-Up; How and when do you follow up with
those you have exposed? You don't want to chase them, but you do want to
answer any of their questions in a timely manner. The worst thing you can do
is have someone that is interested, and NOT get back to them, they may go
straight to your company and join under someone else!

Duplication: How do you plan on teaching
others to duplicate your efforts? Three way calls? Teleseminars? You must do
what you want your downline associates to do. If you are able to go out and
speak to 50 strangers a day, do you really believe that everyone else has that
ability? Do things that anyone you bring into your business can do too! (OK
I'm not saying here that you can't speak to the 50 strangers, but you can do
that in addition to the easier tactics that you teach others to do!)

One last thing, you must keep this plan
realistic. If you have been in the business six months, and have not exposed it
to one person in the last four weeks, Don't plan on exposure to 5 people a day.

Start where you are now, if that means exposure to one new person a week,
then make that your plan. This is your business, you set the plan. Once you are
more confident you CAN revise the plan.

For now set your plan and follow it, is it OK, to have a plan for exposure to
one person and you accidentally slip up and expose it to five?
YES GREAT! Always "under promise and over
deliver"!!!
