Thursday, September 15, 2005. I was sitting in a class during my freshman year at college at St. John's University. It had been over 4 years since the events of 9/11. The war in Iraq was approaching its 3rd year and President Bush had his approval rating drop to 41%, the lowest of his presidency at the time.

Staff Sergeant Regilio E. Nelom of Queens, New York was in Asad, Iraq at the time. Little did he know when he came to the United States from Suriname in the 1980's he would be there. He would flip burgers, and deliver newspapers, doing odd jobs in order to get by.

He never seemed to be happy with that life and in 1994 he enlisted in the United States Army. He had served in the Army in Suriname beforehand and was trying for years to enlist here. His enlistment in the Army brought him to Iraq in 2005.

He was on an escort mission in a HMMWV or a Humvee as most people know it, when an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated.

The HMMWV did not hold up very well, especially considering the fact that it was never designed to withstand an attack of that magnitude. It was built to transport soldiers on and around the battle field.

Staff Sgt. Regilio E. Nelom, 45 years old was taken from us that day.

A man who was not born in this country, who was a first generation immigrant to this nation, died serving to protect us. You probably did not know him, you'll never read about him in a history book and he'll most likely never have a memorial in D.C. However his sacrifice is the same sacrifice made by millions of other men and women whether in 1775, 1945, or 2008 all of which fought to defend the freedoms we were promised.

This July 4th, take some time out of your day simply to remember everyone who has lost their lives fighting for our freedom and our way of life. Visit a VFW center, talk to a veteran, send a care package. Take your children to a memorial. Enjoy the life which many of us, including myself at times have taken for granted.

Naar aanleiding van de door wethouder Baldewsingh gedane toezegging aan Paramaribo (spiegel) willen wij de volgende vragen stellen;

What is Anorectal Malformation ?

During early development of a baby in the womb, the urinary tract, the reproductive tract and the digestive tract all exit the pelvis through a common opening. Normally, separation of these structures occurs. In females there is complete separation of the three systems so that the urinary tract opening is farthest forward (the urethra), the reproductive tract exits in the middle (the vagina) and the digestive tract exits farthest back (the anus). In males the urinary tract and the reproductive tract exit through a single opening (the male urethra) in front, while the digestive tract exits through the anus. An anorectal malformation is a condition in which the rectum fails to separate properly during development and does not migrate into its proper position on the perineum. The anus and rectum lie in front of their normal location and are not located properly in the sphincter muscles of the pelvis. Anorectal malformations occur as a spectrum of abnormalities that ranges from very mild conditions in which the anus is situated only a few millimeters in front of its normal location, to severe anomalies with no visible anus. In the more severe abnormalities, there may be an abnormal emptying of rectum into the genitourinary tract, and associated malformations of the spine, genitalia, and kidneys.

Diagnosis of Anorectal Malformation

Anorectal malformations occur in both boys and girls. The diagnosis of an anorectal malformation can usually be made by inspection. When the baby is examined, the anus is absent or abnormally positioned. Ultrasound and x-ray tests may be used to help in the diagnosis. Additional tests will be obtained to look for associated abnormalities. Spine x-rays, kidney and spinal cord ultrasound, and occasionally echocardiography are all routine tests obtained in patients with anorectal malformations.

Treatment of Anorectal Malformation

The nature and severity of the anorectal malformation, as well as the presence of any associated conditions will determine the surgical treatment that is required. Some patients may be treated with a single operation as a newborn, while others will require operations in several stages. For patients with relatively minor abnormalities, a small procedure such as a cut back anoplasty may be all that is required prior to going home. For other patients, initial treatment consists of a colostomy and reconstruction is performed at a later date. A second operation is performed that separates the abnormal communication with the genito-urinary tract, and properly relocates the rectum within the sphincter muscles in the pelvis. Depending on the type of abnormality present, children may have this operation performed utilizing minimally invasive surgical techniques. Alternatively, a PSARP (posterior saggital anorectoplasty) procedure may be performed. Several months after definitive surgery, the colostomy is taken down, re-establishing gastrointestinal tract continuity

Follow Up of Anorectal Malformation

Following reconstruction, patients born with anorectal malformations must be followed frequently by their pediatric surgeons. For the more severe abnormalities, long-term continence issues are the major reasons for follow-up, while in the more mild conditions, patients and their families must work to insure that worsening constipation does not lead to poor continence. Many patients must be managed with bowel program designed to promote regular evacuations of the rectum to avoid ongoing soiling from chronic fecal retention. With attentive management, and rigorous compliance with prescribed regimens, most patients achieve social continence. Many patients will have normal continence. The Pediatric Surgeons of IAPS (Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons) treat patients with anorectal malformations and provide long-term follow-up and management for patients and their families.

Suriname is the smallest independent country in South America. Situated on the Guiana Shield, the country can be divided into two main geographic regions. The northern, lowland coastal area (roughly above the line Albina-Paranam-Wageningen) has been cultivated, and most of the population lives here. The southern part consists of tropical rainforest and sparsely inhabited savanna along the border with Brazil, covering about 80% of Suriname's land surface.

There are two main mountain ranges in Suriname: the Bakhuys Mountains and the Van Asch Van Wijck Mountains. Julianatop is the highest mountain in the country at 1,286 metres (4,219 ft) above sea level. Other mountains include Tafelberg (1,026 m; 3,366 ft), Mount Kasikasima (718 m; 2,356 ft), Goliathberg (358 m; 1,174 ft) and Voltzberg (240 m; 787 ft).

Arranging blood donor of rare blood groups( rh negative blood types

http://www.rarebloodgroups.org/

Arranging blood donor of rare blood groups( rh negative blood types ) is always a tough task as awareness on rare blood groups is still low and usually getting started on the search for rare blood groups draws a blank with most people.

Hundreds of blood units are required for patients suffering from blood diseases like anaemia, accidental blood loss, excessive destruction of red blood cells, thalassemia, haemophilia, leukemia and bone marrow transplant. There is an acute shortage of safe blood and statistics from most blood banks suggest rare blood groups (rh negative blood types) are very scarce.

The annual collection of blood in India is only 5.5- 6 million units against the requirement of about 8.5 million units.Delhi, Capital of India contributes only 24 per cent to the total voluntary blood donation and situation is more worse in other parts of the country

RareBloodGroups.Org is India’s 1st online registry website of rare blood type donors including AB Negative Blood Group, A Negative Blood Group, B Negative Blood Group, O Negative Blood Group and Bombay Blood Type.

Apart from providing blood donors to sick patients, we are also working hard to create awareness about voluntary blood donation in India..

The heads of state of 12 South

The Era of Globalization

,

have signed a historic treaty to create the Union of South American Nations. Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela all signed the treaty. The regional union is meant to accommodate the free movement of people within South America and further integrate policies on everything from trade and economic development to regional defense. Since signing the treaty, the new union has announced plans for a central bank and common currency patterned after the European Union's euro-zone.

The Union of South America has officially joined the ranks of the European Union, the African Union, ASEAN, SAARC, and other supranational states on the road towards further political and economic globalization. The rise in such continental and regional superpowers represents a key trend that began in the latter half of the 20th century. This trend has picked up steam in more recent years, as political sovereignty and economic control has shifted bit by bit from individual nation-states to supranational globalist organizations.

The new Union of South America has a gross domestic product of about 2 trillion dollars. It has a population of 380 million people. It covers an area of over 17 million square kilometers, making it larger than Russia, the world's largest country. Furthermore, it possesses 27 percent of the world's freshwater sources and is the world's foremost food producer and exporter.

The African Union, yet another product of this era of globalization, is formed from 53 member states and has a population of 850 million people. One of its primary goals is to accelerate the political and socio-economic integration of the continent. Much like the Union of South America, the AU has plans to establish an African Central Bank, Investment Bank, and Monetary Fund, as well as a common currency called the Afro.

The African Union and the new Union of South America both seek to follow the example of the European Union, which has recovered from the devastation of two World Wars to become the "world's biggest" economy. Over the last fifty years the European Union has emerged as a growing world power. The EU now encompasses more than 460 million people, stretching from the Arctic to the Mediterranean and east all the way to the Black Sea. Europe's economy has grown steadily in recent years and can boast of a GDP larger than that of the United States. Furthermore, the Euro is set to take the place of the dollar as the world's primary reserve currency.

Unfortunately, as political power in Europe becomes more centralized, its leaders have become less accountable to its citizens. Government bureaucracy has become bloated and individual freedoms have eroded. The future of Europe no longer rests in the hands of the people. Instead, it will be determined by the bureaucrats in Brussels (the Treaty of Lisbon is just one example of this disturbing trend).

International institutions, such as the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, the International Monetary Fund, and the various continental unions, have helped to build the foundation for a world government system. With each passing year the globalist goal of a "new world order" becomes more of a reality. Despite what many people may think, the term "new world order" did not originate with radical right-wing conspiracy theorists. It was coined in the early 1900s by those who advocated increased globalization. In the mid-90's the term "new world order" was replaced with by the term "global governance". However the essential goals of this movement remain the same.

These developments, of course, have many prophetic and Biblical implications. To learn more about this topic visit our website: the movement for Global Government is just one of the Strategic Trends we monitor on a regular basis.

On May 23, 2008, 12 South American countries signed a treaty creating the South American Union of Nations. Although no formal institutions are functioning at this time, the treaty does envision a Secretariat in Quito, Ecuador (article 10) and a Parliament in Cochabamba, Bolivia (article 17). It will be interesting to see what documents are produced by this new transnational body and how it affects Mercosur and the Andean Community. The nations involved are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uriguay and Venezuela. The South American Union of Nations Constitutive Treaty is available in English, Spanish, Portuguee and Dutch from the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Realtions: http://www.mre.gov.br/portugues/imprensa/nota_detalhe3.asp?ID_RELEASE=5466

É o aluno preferido do professor Girafales (EUA).

Chiquinha (Cuba): a melhor amiga do Chaves (Venezuela).

BRASILIA: South America is thinking of creating a common currency and a central bank along the lines of those in the European Union’s eurozone, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said yesterday.
The idea is a logical next step following the signing last Friday of a treaty creating a Union of South American States that aims to promote joint regional customs and defense policies, Lula said during his weekly radio broadcast.
“Many things still haven’t been realised. We are now going to create a Bank of South America. We are going to move forward so in the future we’ll have a single central bank, a common currency,” he said.
But, he added: “This is a process. It won’t be something that happens quickly.”

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela all signed up to the Unasur treaty creating the regional union during a ceremony in Brasilia last Friday.
The entity’s goal is to bring together two trade blocs within South America, Mercosur and the Andean Community, and to integrate the region.

Apple Tree

They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
And the fallen apple eventually becomes a seed
The seed grows up becomes a tree
Which then sees their apple leave
In time you'll have a row of trees
Which we then call family
A family tree yes that in deed
From seed to seed to seed to seed

An apple falls, a bird flies by
and takes the apple high in the sky
He eats the apple as time flies by
and drops the seed beyond the eye

Now this seed is alone
In a place that's not it's home
Knows no better so gives his own
permission and says "Here I'll grow"
To a tree who'll be,
just you wait and see.
the first in a row of family trees

By Ivan Cairo
Caribbean Net News Suriname Correspondent

PARAMARIBO, Suriname: Suriname says it is ready to facilitate the establishment of stronger relations between the newly formed Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

The pledge came during the inaugural meeting of UNASUR when Suriname’s president Ronald Venetiaan joined 11 other Heads of States of South American countries in Brasilia (Brazil) to establish the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR).

In his address to the special UNASUR summit, Venetiaan argued that since Suriname joined CARICOM in 1994 the country gained significant political, socio-economic and other experiences and therefore could contribute considerably to the integration process in South America and building a bridge between CARICOM and South America.

The Surinamese Head of State further noted that for an adequate integration process it is imperative that besides individual initiatives of the member states, the integrated regional space is being utilized to find resolutions for the serious issues and problems.

Since dialogue started in 2004 in Cuzco, Peru, to establish the UNASUR, Suriname has participated actively in the discussions “in the conviction that common geographical, historical and geopolitical factors define a collective future for the peoples of South America,” said Venetiaan.

While member states should promote democracy and the rule of law, fight against poverty and tackle escalating fuel costs, improvement of education systems should be high on the agenda, Venetiaan added.

Guyana, the second of only two CARICOM nations on the South American mainland also signed the treaty of the newly formed alliance which is designed to strengthen political cooperation and dialogue between member states and to advance continental integration. The founding members of UNASUR are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The new alliance is also aiming at finding solutions to the current food crisis, along with boosting financial independence for the region, while UNASUR also advance integration on politics, economics, society, culture, energy, the environment and infrastructure.

While the Heads of States has signed the treaty their parliament still need to ratify the agreement. UNASUR will have a revolving presidency and bi-annual meetings of the foreign ministers while the organization is structured to have a general secretariat, headquartered in Quito, Ecuador, with a rotating presidency with Chile’s president Michelle Bachelet as the first chairman.

From: BBC

The leaders of 12 South American nations have formed a regional body aimed at boosting economic and political integration in the region.

At a summit in Brazil, they signed a treaty which created the Union of South American Nations (Unasur).

Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said the move showed that South America was becoming a "global player".

But tensions between several members will make it difficult for the group to achieve its goals, observers say.

Mr Lula said at the summit in Brasilia that the differences between some Unasur governments were a sign of vitality in the region.

"The instability some want to see in our continent is a sign of life, especially political life," Mr Lula said.

"There's no democracy without people [protesting] in the streets," he added.

The treaty envisages that Unasur will have a revolving presidency and bi-annual meetings of foreign ministers.

Prior to the Brasilia summit, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez described the "empire" of the United States as Unasur's "number one enemy".

Mr Chavez is embroiled in a bitter diplomatic row with his Colombian counterpart Alvaro Uribe - a staunch US ally - over Colombian claims that Venezuela has been helping to finance the activities of the Colombian Farc rebels.

The Unasur members are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Since 1962 every president, every Congresswoman and man that has been elected to office has known about the Organization of American States. But it started earlier than that. The name doesn't refer to 50 States of the United States of America and its District of Columbia, nor even Puerto Rico, which actually votes in our elections, NO, this stands for ALL the following countries:

Antigua and
Argentina
The Bahamas
Barbados
Belize
Bolivia
Brazil
Canada
Chile
Colombia
Costa Rica
Dominica
Dominican Republic
Ecuador
El Salvador
Grenada
Guatemala
Guyana
Haiti
Honduras
Jamaica
Mexico
Nicaragua
Panama
Paraguay
Peru
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Lucia
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Suriname
Trinidad and Tobago
United States of America
Uruguay
Venezuela

All of the above are considered States of the Americas. Do you see Venezuela there? Now, if our government is a part of this "Organization of American States" or OAS for short, how can it be that we should be wanting a war with a sister state? And not just any war either, but threats of nuclear war are rumored...

Did you see Mexico there? Canada? Still wondering why the government is so determined to have open borders? We are betrayed by that government which is supposed to Guard and uphold our Constitution, Guard and uphold our Bill of Rights, and yet has blithely sold us out. We are betrayed. Each president and vice president, each congressman or woman takes their oath to do this very thing. So how come we've been sold out?

As required by Article 6 of the U.S. Constitution, Members of Congress shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution. Representatives, delegates, and the resident commissioner all take the oath of office on the first day of the new Congress, immediately after the House has elected its Speaker. The Speaker of the House administers the oath of office as follows:

"I, (name of Member), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

OAS Head Quarters 17th St. between C St. and Constitution Ave., NW.

I guess God doesn't mean what he used to any more because an oath like that would sure make me think twice if I took it. So much for Good Christians!!! But these people are Godless, else why did they sell us out? Why else do they disrespect their oath? You can talk about God all you want, but when your actions tell a different story, one can only conclude you either don't believe in God or you figure you can lie and cheat up until your death and then make good? I think not... And if this is the best these people can do, we are some kind of fools for keeping them in office!

The OAS has a long history and has changed its name several times. Beginning in 1826, it was the brain child of Simón Bolivar. At the Conference of Panama he proposed that a league of American republics, (America being the Continent), with a common military, a mutual defense pact, and a supranational parliamentary assembly be created. He meant to unify the Latin countries against what he feared; that the United States of America and other countries might try to dominate them. The first name for the OAS was Treaty of Union, League, and Perpetual Confederation. While grandly titled, it was a failure. However...

Between 1889 and 1890 the first International Conference of the American States was held in Washington D.C. 18 nations resolved to create the International Union of American Republics, served by a permanent secretariat called the Commercial Bureau of the American Republics (renamed the "International Commercial Bureau" at the Second International Conference in 1901–02).

At the 4th meeting of the International Union of the American Republics in 1910 in Buenos Aires, the name was changed again to Union of American Republics and the Commercial Bureau became the Pan American Union. These two bodies, in existence as of April 14 1890, represent the point of inception to which today's OAS and its General Secretariat trace their origins.

What is the OAS? It is the SPP gone Global. It is world domination couched in words like humanity, charity, human rights, and for the good of all, etc. But what it means is that the Sovereignty of the United States of America has been sold out, is being dismantled, and We the People are being traded up by those in power. It means that those in Congress are working against us, even as I write this. It means that you and I are being made slaves while others control everything. Sound like a conspiracy theory? Then why is this not out in the open? Why haven't we heard about it. Why is it a secret? It has been around since FOREVER....

As with most of those who intend to do harm, the first thing they do is protect themselves from everything and everyone. In this case it is every government everywhere. They have created for themselves such immunity from prosecution, search, or seizure that I doubt there is an agency in the world capable of touching them.

Now, how would it be if those who fought and died for the United States of America could look at our government and see it had protected US like this??? Instead, our country's very foundations are being eroded for the sake and empowerment of a few. But this was only the beginning. The demands for immunity continue...

Those who stand for the good of all, who have no harm in mind, do not set these kinds of protections in place. They do not need them. This organization, by this very setup, means that illegal activities, perhaps even the overthrow of other governments, may be planned and executed from this very organization and they cannot be touched, examined, scrutinized, held accountable, or held for questioning. If you think I am wrong, then explain to me why such protections are necessary.

Why would the United States of America or Canada or any other nation for that matter, want to be a part of this? Why??? So far, I have not seen any benefit for the USA at all, and yet, our government has signed onto this program. Nor have I seen or heard of any improvements coming about for the original 18 countries that started this to begin with. As with the United Nations, they seem to be a body of men and or women that meet and do not much else except for profit from their existence. Whatever their lofty goals in the beginning, nothing has been accomplished. Nothing that we can see anyway.

For example, consider Mexico or even Haiti and then read this:

Right to leisure time and to the use thereof.

Now, according to Wikipedia, by 1946 Mexico was a part of this organization. It might have joined earlier but since I don't speak or write Spanish, I cannot find out through their documentation (done in Spanish) when they signed their charter. But the point is, how has signing up helped Mexico or Mexicans in any way? They are still leaving their country in droves! Headed for the USA among other places. So if this organization is so wonderful, why isn't it helping these countries? And why don't we hear about it? Something this good SHOULD be known about don't you think? And the same goes for Haitians. I cannot see where this organization has done one thing to help any nation that is a member.

Or, by the same token, WHY would the United States of America want to join? This was for the Latin countries originally. We have had these rights all along. Where is the benefit to the United States in being a member? What does Congress Know about it?

There is a an item in these treaties too about getting rid of Conventional Weapons, see Here: According to Wikipedia Conventional Weapon is:

Conventional weapon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

(Redirected from Conventional weapons)

••

A conventional weapon is a weapon that does not incorporate toxic chemical, biological or nuclear payloads. The phrase is a retronym, used to describe the arsenal that existed before the other categories of weapons were heavily researched and developed in the 20th century. Although the term 'conventional weapons' is primarily used to refer to explosive weapons the UN Convention on Conventional Weapons also includes controls on blinding laser and incendiary weapons.

So, guess what, they intend to disarm everyone. WHY does our government want to be a part of this??? And why aren't the mass destruction weapons on their list??? But no, only conventional weapons are listed... Why is it so important to disarm the population. Does this bring new light to the cases brought against men like David Olofson??? Think about it.

This organization is not what it appears to be. This organization is not a good thing. Those who support it are not meaning the American Citizens well. Get informed so you can fight back!
