-Of Montreal's Skeletal Lamping will have it's release date pushed back over two weeks. The new release date will be October 21st.

Então, eis que há alguns dias, estava eu procurando sites para baixar CDs, já que o maldito computador foi formatado e eu fiquei só com as músicas que estavam no maldito MP3, e vi num dos sites o link para baixar um negócio chamado "Nerdcast". Até aí, tudo bem. Pensamos meus botões e eu: "que merda é essa?". Baixei, é claro.
O podcast começa com Jovem Nerd, o idealizador e fazedor do site, gritando "Lambda, lambda, lambda!", aquela coisa de fraternidade que muito me interessou sempre. Cada um dos componentes se apresenta fazendo um breve comentário sobre o tema em questão, e diga-se de passagem, comentários ótimos. Os e-mails dos ouvintes são lidos, na sessão "Caneladas", com os comentários de Jovem Nerd e Azhagâl, o anão - ótimo!
O tema do Nerdcast que baixei, de cara, era interessante: "Caverna do Dragão". Eu, fã incondicional do desenho, engoli cada palavra, piada, comentário. Foi uma hora de diversão como há tempos eu não tinha. Eu, comigo mesma, as caixinhas de som do computador, Azhagâl, Jovem Nerd e convidados. Os caras falavam exatamente o que eu pensava desde quando assistia o desenho no programa da Xuxa.
Nerdcast vale a pena. A visão nerd das coisas é realmente condizente com a minha e o podcast é hilário. Virei fã, não páro de ouvir. Sou uma dependente.

If Paris actually ran for office, I would probably support her. Unlike politicians like Elliot Spitzer and Bill Clinton before her, her exploited sexual deviancy has only helped her popular vote. And she certainly wouldn't waste our time asking for the definition of "is": she simply wouldn't understand.

Some of you are well aware of my unconditional, inexplicable love for Paris Hilton. Hell, some of you even have the album I recorded with a song dedicated to her. But most of you wondered what the hell I saw in this beautiful woman to begin with. Well, truth is, Paris is just so fucking cool. Always has been, always will be.

As if more proof of her coolness was needed, check out this presidential campaign video Paris has put together in response to "that wrinkly white-haired guy" John McCain's recent mocking "celebrity" ad against Barack Obama, one that includes a brief snippet of my favorite heiress. Not only does Paris name a potential waterproof candidate for VP, she also proposes one hell of an energy plan.
