Kirsty and I have fallen in love. Of course we're still in love with each other but we've discovered these guys below and we have to have them.

 It started with Han and Boba yesterday when I saw them in a shop, but today I went and bought Chewie, Obi Wan, Luke and Mace Windu as well. I'm glad we got Chewie he is sooooo awesome but we really want Darth Vader and Princess Leia as well. Unfortunately everywhere seems to have sold out :(

Still our dudes freaking rock. Methinks the cats might have competition for our affections.

I'm using a different scanner..so that may be why it's not too clear.  I must read the manual.  Anyway, the hummingbird logo is cropped from my "Two Rubies" fairy...before I painted it in.  Here's the crop:

I completely forgot about this one. Colorado-based toy designers Soft & Furry held a logo competition for 8 weeks. They have selected a winner and it is not the logo above. That one is my submission from week 6- clearly not as bold as what they were looking for- but I dig it all the same... though it does seem more sharp and pokey rather than soft and furry... whatever. Check out the visual smorgasbord of entries and the winner.

But one particular law surpasses anything I've seen before. The banning of sex toys.

"Alabama's (it had to be) Anti-Obscenity Enforcement Act prohibits, among other things, the commercial distribution of 'any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs for any thing of pecuniary value.'" Under this law one could stroll down Alabama's southern streets selling semi-automatic rifles and dildos, and be arrested for the dildos.

Haven't they heard of the phrase "make love, not war?"

The ultimate goal, of course, is that I can then convert my one XP instance and use it virtually with the ability to read to and write from DVD disks.  I'm gonna pick up some burners and test it out.

It is the Vaja ivolution Top SP and it is a made to order leather case from Vaja, a company based in Argentina.  It took 38 days for the case to be made by hand.  I ordered mine July 26.  It shipped on September 1 and arrived at my doorstep via FedEx at 10:00 AM.  The color of the body and the stripe are customizable; I chose mine in Caterina White with Lemon Drop stripe to go with my white iPhone 3G.

When I ordered this last July, the handicraft process supposedly would take 45 days, but lately they ramped it up to 30 days.

The smell of the genuine leather is to die for!

It took me a lot of searching the web for a fine case before settling for this one.  My thinking is that if ever I would get a case for the iPhone, I might as well shoot for the moon and get the most extravagant one. How extravagant?  This case cost me 102 US Dollars!  The price included the Fedex International Priority shipping, so I have no complaints.

I would love to do a review, but there are several already that can be found around the web.

I just want to show it off, I guess!

I'm sure you know that there are pet coupons in your weekend newspaper inserts. Make sure you look carefully because they are mostly good ones. Recent hot coupons were FREE can of Mighty Dog, FREE Friskies Party Mix Treats, BOGO Wholesome goodness cat food, and $5 off Science Diet pet food. Keep an eye out.

The hottest pet coupon I have ever come across is the $4 Purina printable. You fill out a questionnaire and you can print a coupon for $4 off you next Purina purchase! Purina makes all kinds of pet food like Friskies, Fancy Feast, Cat Chow, Mighty Dog, Dog Chow, Kibbles n Bits, etc... Just look at the label and it will say "Purina". Be sure to print two times by going back and entering an imaginary person's info the second time around. You should be able to print 2 from each computer. Mostly, I use mine for Friskies can packs. I buy the smallest packs of like 12 and get it for cents. They are also good to use on big bags of dry food when they go on sale. For example, when Cat Chow goes on sale for $9.99 I use my coupon and get it for $5.99 for an 18lb bag! I keep a big tub outside on the porch that seals good and dump all the cat food in there. That way, I can store a lot when it goes on sale.

Don't throw away those FREE pet coupons! Even if you don't have a pet! You can get the free items and take them to your local animal shelter. They need all the help they can get. I do this with dog food because I have no dogs. I also take overflow of cat food there when I have stocked so much I can't store.

Pets can also get free things in the mail, just like humans. I even put their name on the order form so when it comes it says it is for them! Yup, I'm cat crazy!

Make sure you go through those forums because I got a free bag of Purina One Cat food and a free bag of Nutro Cat food for mine. You just have to hunt! Hunting is half the fun!

I have a PetsMart near me and that is where I go a lot to get some deals. They take coupons and they also release store coupons like $5 off $25 purchase. One time I had a $15 off $50 purchase. My purchase was $50 before coupons and after coupons I paid $5.00!! You can find those coupons on the coupon forum link on the right side of this page.

I also look for clearance toys and collars at stores. I only buy toys on clearance for my cats because they always loose them! After Christmas, PetsMart really marks them down. I buy then and they have toys year round!
