He wants killer melodies" Michael is feeling the pressure and he wants to make a comeback that is bigger and better than his last, Invincible, CD which only sold 8 million copies. In my opinion any artist should be lucky to sell that many CD's, but because it is Michael Jackson it is considered a failure. Just because he is the King of Pop doesn't mean that he is an exception to the rule. In recent years more people have focused on Michael Jackson's nose, his court trial, and anything else that does not have to do with his music. Due to this, it will be hard to get people unfocused on that and to refocus their attention on his new single when it is released. Good luck Michael. You're still the King of Pop in my mind.

I think if he hadn't been surrounded by all the " Yes Men" for all these years, he might have turned out half-way normal and we would still have his fantastic talent to enjoy rather than the circus it has become.

you know all those bonus tracks that surface once an album is released? we used to get them as b-sides. occasionally an instrumental would be bunged on there, or a remix, but in the 80s, you were pretty much guaranteed at least an album track if not something which didn't make the cut.

for kids with only a few 7 inches to entertain them throughout the summer, this could mean that you were as familiar with an artist's rarities as you were their hits.

The Las Vegas engagement is being considered as one of several repayment options Mr. Jackson and Colony are considering. Mr. Jackson, who has had a series of financial troubles over the past few years, including a recent threat of foreclosure at his Neverland Ranch in California, is considering a long term Las Vegas engagement as part of a plan to repay a $23 million debt to Colony Capital, the private equity group that recently bought the loan on Neverland, Reuters reported. Colony owns the Las Vegas Hilton, and is a major shareholder in the Station Casinos chain.

i remember being in pre-school and waiting impatiently for the teacher-lady to put on "thriller". begging my cousin peter to play "beat it". and everyone talking about the live performance of "billie jean" where the moonwalk was unveiled. it's hard to believe that was so long ago, and it's also hard to believe that that was michael jackson. what in the hell happened to the man? have you ever looked at the cover of thriller? dude was good looking! and he turned himself into some weird hybrid of an alien and a chinese woman. of course, public curiosity over whether or not the man is a pedophile is probably more of a reason for concern than his self-mutilation, but that is something we can only wonder about. i don't think he's a pedo, i think he's just crazy. and it's a shame, b/c even if you hate pop music and think dude is wacko, how can you not love those songs??? i think anyone between 25-35 probably has some feeling of being a kid again when they see the videos and hear the songs. i know it's a trip down memory lane for me. and thriller is the top selling album of all time. justin timberlake and usher are complete knock-offs of the young michael jackson. but they can't touch the raw talent wacko jacko had back in the day. damn, 25 years. i wish i could find a red leather jacket like that. 2 more vids.
